About: Ive been caring for dogs my whole life with my family animals and also pet sitting for friends. Im very comfortable with all breeds! Im your girl for long walks or extra snuggles. I recently moved to Ohio from Oregon and am looking to fill my free time meeting new furry friends and getting to know the area with long walks with your dogs or traveling to new neighborhoods to care for your pets. I will care for your pet however you instruct me to. My goal is to make them feel as comfortable and loved as possible while you're away!

About: I have grown up with all different types of dogs. I had a Yellow Lab, two Great Danes, and I had an 8 month old beagle rescue for a few months. I grew up walking my dogs, neighborhood dogs, and family members dogs. I took part in training all four of my puppies, and I have always been one to enjoy walking my dogs, even the 130 pound Great Danes! Since I grew up with dogs in my home, I have lots of toys, dog beds for all sizes, and places for them to stay if needed. I have always loved dogs, and it would be a pleasure to give your dog(s) exercise and take them for walks when available. I am currently a nursing student at Cleveland State University, as well as a part time job at the Cleveland Clinic, so I am usually more available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as well as weekends. I have toys, dog beds for large and small dogs, as well as a crate for the dogs who might need it! I live in Lakewood, so walking any dogs around the neighborhood as well as different parks is convenient and safe!
“I’m new to rover and was a little nervous but Thomas was so good with my pupper and communicated great! I appreciated his photo updates and him asking questions to make sure he was covering all his bases.”

“Had nothing but a great first-time experience with Elizabeth. She's great at communicating and makes sure my doggy is happy and well cared for! Thank you for all your help! My doggy Flipper loves you! I highly recommend Elizabeth for any pet care needs she is great, and I would book her services again.”

About: I've had dogs most of my life and continuously in my adult life, including my two current dogs, Luna, a shih tzu mix, and Logan, a pekingese mix. Taking care of dogs has become so ingrained into my daily routine that I can't imagine life without it, and I will offer the same care and consideration when taking care of your dogs. I work from home full-time, with largely flexible windows where I can stop by and walk or care for your dog. My work meetings never run longer than an hour, so I can usually work with your dog's preferred schedule. I am the primary caretaker of my wife and my two dogs, including the daily feeding, walks, letting out, and mess clean up. I'll take care of your dog as if it were my own and treat them with the love and respect they deserve.

“Regina is excellent in every way. She is very professional and cares kindly for our young puppy (who can be a handful). Regina has gone out of her way to make sure Clif gets outside for walks and has playtime during the day while we are at work or away for extended periods of time. She has also given us great tips on how to get him more comfortable with crate training and leaving him for hours at a time. We plan to use Regina regularly!”
About: I've been a business professional for decades. I have had pets my entire life, until recently. I have passed FBI background, Special Olympics background checks and also here. Your house will be safe. I work remotely and love animals. It's really that simple. I work remote in finance. I miss my own pets. This gives me the opportunity to get some much needed animal kisses. I've never met a dog that didn't love me. Happy to care for your pets in your home. Does your dog need crated? How about a good long walk to make them feel better.
“Olesja has been our trusted dog walker and sitter for a full year now and we truly cannot imagine Otter’s life without her! She switches up the walk routes every day and is very in tune with his energy levels, poop habits, and all his little quirks. We love that each walk is a mini training lesson working on his manners and triggers (like electric scooters!). If you are looking for a dog walker who truly loves your pup like her own, Olesja is the one!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I’m a dog mom to three rescues (a dachshund, pit mix, and Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix) so I’m very comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve also volunteered at City Dogs for the past year, which has given me experience with dogs of all temperaments, including anxious and high energy pups. I previously cared for a senior rescue dog, so I understand the extra patience, gentleness, and attention they need. I’m also a nurse, which means I’m calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and very attentive to safety and well-being. I also have a 14-year-old cat at home, so I’m comfortable caring for cats and understand their unique personalities, routines, and needs. I treat every dog like my own and focus on making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine! I work part-time as a nurse four days a week and am typically home by around 2pm. This allows me to be available for afternoon walks, evening drop ins, and most weekends, plus I have one weekday fully open each week. For house sitting, the longest I’m away from your home is about 8 hours (including my commute), and I always prioritize making sure pets are comfortable, safe, and well cared for while I’m there. I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay in the environment they know and feel most comfortable in. I do my best to stick closely to their usual routines so everything feels familiar and low stress. I’m very mindful of safety, whether that’s being aware on walks, keeping doors and gates secure, or making sure pets are always supervised. I follow all care instructions carefully and treat your home and pets with the same respect I would my own. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing!!

About: I am an animal person through and through. I grew up with dogs, my dad bred and trained them. I have been trusted by roommates, family members, and friends to care for their pets as well. These include large and small dogs, senior dogs, cats, and kittens. I love spending time with animals, so it makes me feel so grateful that I can help you by doing something I love :) I am currently in an MBA program through John Carroll University (night classes). So, I am available most mornings and afternoons. I have a super flexible schedule so please reach out! I am respectful of others spaces, so when caring for your pet at your home or in your neighborhood, I will clean up after them, play with them, and offer any cuddles they need. At home, my roommate has a two year old cat. When we adopted her, the shelter told us that she is an “only cat.” I can’t imagine her being mean to anyone, but to be safe, I will not bring your pets to my home.

About: Growing up, I always had animals in my family. A few years ago, I rescued Nyla, the sweetest 80 pounds you'll ever meet, and she reignited my love for animal care. As an owner of a large, very active breed with a history of abuse, I know how important it is for your animal to feel loved and for their lives to be full of physical enrichment. When taking care of your pet, I'll treat them as if they were part of the family! I have a soft spot for doggos and I love cats, too. I'm comfortable with pets of all ages! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
