About: I’ve loved and helped watch/take care of dogs since I was little. My family grew up with dogs and I have helped friends/family/neighbors watch and care for their dogs for as long as I can remember. I do work full time, however I am home on weekends as well as early evening to help assist in any way that I can! I have a backyard which is about to be fully fenced in. I live in a very safe neighborhood which is perfect for walks! Also have room in my home for animals to roam/make themselves at home.
“We are so fortunate to have met Olesja to help take care of our 2 young whippets, Sophia & Scout. She was so personable and friendly during the meet and greet, and was very attentive. She came last weekend and spent the entire time playing, walking, feeding, photographing, and cuddling with our dogs. It took no time for them to warm up to her as she is so good with them. They even posed for her in some of the amazing pictures she took. She followed all of my notes I gave her regarding feeding, walking, and some other little things. She was very communicative and kept me aware of when she arrived and when she left which reassured me she was taking good care of our babies. It is apparent that Olesja takes a serious interest in dog care and she truly connects with them. She is also very responsible and reliable. We are so grateful for her.”

About: Hi, My name is Lea and I am so excited to look after your dog! I have been boarding dogs for nearly 10 years now and what I enjoy most about this job is getting an opportunity to love on so many different pups! I have watched massive breeds such as Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Dobermans, and Dogue de Bordeauxs to puppy Shih-poos and everything in between. I like to think of myself as you dog's favorite auntie. I often shower my clients with gifts from PetSmart (because I just can't help myself!) and snuggles in the bed or on the couch. I have experience caring for seniors and puppies. I am very attentive to their needs and more than willing to send as many updates as you desire. I live on the 1st floor of my apartment complex with my husband and two young boys. I am only a few yards away from a fenced in dog park. I also live two blocks away from a large park where there is much more space to stretch out our legs on long walks and roll around in the grass. Although I am primarily home, I prefer to use a dog crate for when I step out for errands. So if possible, please be ready to send a crate along. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! : )
“Absolutely great! Helped us out on short notice, went with the flow for our senior dogs extra needs, and took great care of our boys! Thank you, we will be returning clients.”

“Caitlin provided excellent help checking in on our dog Maple for a week while we were busy. She provided daily pictures and updates so that we were sure that Maple was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Caitlin as a dog-sitter for anyone that needs one. Thank you Caitlin!!!”

About: I noticed I’m always offering to take care of everyone’s pets in my personal life (HUGE animal lover) so I figured it’s time to join Rover. I’ve taken care of other pet owners cats, dogs, and rabbits in the past. I’ve had cats, dogs, and rabbits as pets as well as hamsters, goats, ducks, and fish growing up. I grew up in a small town in Ohio and my grandparents had a farm so I was around farm animals often. I don’t currently have any pets of my own as I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week (nurse) so I would absolutely LOVE to watch and walk your pets whenever I’m not at work! Since I work long hours and am not in a good position to get a pet of my own at this time, I would love nothing more than to share the love with your pet(s). I do have a full time job but I’m available on weekends and evenings after approximately 6:30pm (perfect time for walks!). I also have one off day during the week that rotates. I do not have any pets of my own so your pet would have my full attention (also a plus if your pet does not get along well with other pets).
“Thanks again for taking such good care of the “pack” while we were celebrating our daughter’s wedding! My sister appreciated your expertise and understanding of the dogs’ needs and your ability to separate them for their meals/meds. As always, great job!👏🏻”

About: *I offer private pet sitting, meaning that I only host one family's dog(s) at a time, so that your pup has the best experience possible. I started fostering dogs in grad school, where I was an active member of the local APL and formed an advocacy group to create and sustain the local dog park (an abandoned baseball field that we turned into a puppy paradise). On my foster journey, I quickly became the cliche and officially adopted my dog of 14 years, Rufio, after only a few hours. I found Ruf--a Rottweiler/shepherd mix--wandering down by the river, and we were best buds by dinnertime. Over the years, I continued to foster dogs and Ruf and I loved sharing our home with a revolving cast of characters. Sadly, Rufio passed away this past year, but the love is still there, and my partner, Hannah, and I are thrilled to fill our days with doggos. After 13 years in the corporate world--during which I became one of the youngest executives at a local Fortune 500 company, leading three teams totaling over 40 employees--I've decided to pivot back to my passions. I've never been happier than when I spent my days fostering dogs, so pet care has my full attention! I have a fenced in yard and I live a hop and a skip from a number of parks, including Lakewood Park, Webb Park, and the Rocky River Reservation (and dog park)! I'm very active, and I love taking pups around town (or simply hanging out, for our elder statesmen). I want to provide individual care to any pups staying with me, so I only board one dog/family at a time (I am happy to take multiple pups from the same household)! So, your dog(s) will have my full attention and you won’t have to worry about any socialization issues.
“Lexi took care of our cat while we were away for 10 + days. She dropped in 2 times a day, fed her, cleaned her litter and the surrounding floor, brushed her, brought our mail in, put the garbage bins out on pick up days. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that Scarlet was well taken care of! Thank you. Lexi!”

“Veronica was great! She was very communicative and timely, and kept me updated with photos and text messages about my cat while I was away for the weekend. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I grew up with both a dog and a cat, so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for pets of different personalities and needs. I know how important daily walks are for a dog’s happiness and health, and I love spending time outdoors with furry friends—whether it’s a quick stroll around the block or a longer adventure. I’m also comfortable with drop-in visits, providing pets with fresh water, meals, playtime, and lots of love when their owners can’t be there. I treat every pet like my own- I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for when you’re away!! I'm available in the Mon-Thurs evenings starting at 5:30 p.m. Fridays I am available after 12 pm and weekends are variable, so please message for availability! I can be flexible. I am happy to do walks and drop ins and can be flexible to whatever routine works best for your pet's care! I am available to do overnights at my home for smaller pets, so please message if interested.
“Katie was awesome - it was so nice to know Althea was getting some attention when I was gone for a wedding, and I loved the photos to remind me that she was in good hands. Thank you, Katie!”

Melissa was absolutely wonderful, and I am so thankful we found her! She completely eased my anxieties about leaving my two senior, high maintenance dogs for the weekend. It was obvious from the start that she is a true dog person. She followed all of my instructions, communicated clearly, and kept me updated with pictures throughout each visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. She was patient, attentive, and more than capable of handling my senior boys and all of their quirks. I truly hope Melissa is willing to watch my pups again in the future because I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy sitter!

rebecca was amazing with my fur baby. he has separation anxiety and she helped and cared deeply for him while i was away for 4 days. if you have a shelter dog rebecca will be the perfect for you because she has a lot of patience and genuinely care for animals!

Brittany was wonderful!! She was really great at communicating with me about my girl and always sent pictures as well. She was so patient and caring. She made us feel very comfortable with being away from Daisy. I would highly recommend her. She was great and we will definitely us her again!!
