“Erin was great. Timely, great photo updates, and no news to report. Will definitely be reaching out to her again! That was the first time using Rover, and first time leaving my dog for a full weekend without a family member, and all went well!”

About: i’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes for several years now and always treat them as my own. your dog will feel right at home at my house with lots of room for play time and also lots of cozy places to snuggle! I work full time but am available intermittently through the week and on weekends for daytime and overnight care. We enjoy taking walks and exploring the city but also napping and relaxing when needed! I have a semi fenced in yard that is pretty spacious. Dogs are always leashed when taken out for safety purposes. Cleanliness is a top priority along with making sure your dog is happy and healthy.
About: I grew up with dogs my entire life and started watching dogs for family and friends while in college and couldn't have my own. I've enjoyed watching pets for my loved ones and now that I am in a house and working remotely I want to be able to provide my pet care experience to more fur babies. While the majority of my experience is with dogs I've also taken care of cats, fish, anoles, bearded dragons, rabbits, chinchillas, and hedgehogs. I'm open to caring for all sorts of animals and I'm able to be flexible with your needs. I work outside the house part time so when pets are with me they are my first priority and I only accept pets when I know I have enough time to give them all the attention they need. I have caged animals that I let out when I can supervise them so they house is animal proofed and anything potentially harmful is locked away. I have baby gates that can be put up to keep puppies/ elderly dogs from falling down the stairs. My back yard is enclosed on 3 sides by fencing and would be watched and leashed at all times when outside.
About: Hi! I’m Colleen, and I know exactly how much trust it takes to leave your feline family members in someone else’s care. As a proud pet parent to a bustling crew of four cats, Anubis, Momo, Tigger, and Vader, I am incredibly attuned to the unique personalities, quirks, and needs of our feline companions. My true passion and expertise lie with cats. Whether your pet is a playful kitten who needs to burn off energy, a food motivated lounger, or a shy rescue who prefers quiet companionship from a distance, I adapt my approach to make sure they feel safe and loved on their own terms. What I Offer: Feline Expertise: From immaculate litter box maintenance and precise meal times to providing interactive play and chin scratches (only if they’ll allow it!). I am very comfortable reading subtle feline body language. Peace of Mind: I am highly organized, detail oriented, and communicative. You can expect frequent updates and plenty of photos of your kitties having a peaceful, stress free time while you’re away. I am currently serving the Lakewood area and would love to meet you and your cats to see if we're a perfect match!

About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and been the sole carer as an adult. I’ve worked with trainers to keep my dogs safe and happy and have learned best practices for care, training, and health. I currently work part time and my spouse also helps with caring for our pets, so rest assured they will receive plenty of love and attention. I have a fenced yard and two dogs of my own to keeps yours company. One of our dogs is crate trained while the other stays in a safe area when alone so I’m happy to do what works best for your baby.
About: Labs have been in my life since I was born, but I got my kitten at age 6, so I'll say that's when my real pet care experience began! Animals are such a significant part of my life that I got my bachelor's degree in zoology. I've practiced dairy goat husbandry, studied monkeys in the Surinamese rainforest, and worked as an animal keeper at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Not only do I understand how to care for animals, but I'm a truly playful and active person. There's nothing better than romping around outside with a pup and wearing one another out! That being said, I helped care for my family dog Farrah in her senior years and during that time we shared some of the most tender and mellow moments. If my admiration of pets isn't yet clear, I also paint pet portraits and you can see some in my profile photos. I’m a morning person, up with the sun, so early walks and check-ins are no problem! I also have a hybrid work schedule, which supports my flexibility around pet care. Pets are family members and the magnitude of trust put towards a petsitter is not something I take for granted. I care deeply about helping my clients feel at ease when I'm caring for their beloved pets. I'm meticulous and detail-oriented in everything I do, and that translates to following pet care directions and routines to a T. I'm open to talking through all of your needs and concerns to help make the experience excellent for all involved.
“My cats love when Jackie takes care of them. She spends time snuggling with them in addition to making sure they’ve got all the necessities. Everything was clean and neat and bright th my girls were happy when I got home.”

About: Hi! I'm excited to offer dependable, loving pet care through Rover. As a lifelong animal lover and dog owner myself, I understand that pets are family, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I currently have my own pup, Charlie, who has taught me firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. Caring for Charlie has given me daily experience with walks, playtime, routines, and understanding the unique personalities that make every dog special. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, simply some extra attention while you're away, my goal is to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and specific needs so I can provide personalized care that keeps them happy and stress-free. Services may include walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, administering medications if needed, potty breaks, belly rubs, and plenty of companionship. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your home and your pets. I respect your space, follow instructions carefully, and work hard to maintain your pet's normal routine while you're away. Whether your dog loves long walks, your cat prefers quiet companionship, or your pet simply needs a familiar face during the day, I'm committed to providing reliable and attentive care. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and building a lasting relationship based on trust, communication, and exceptional care. I work full time during the week, so pet care fits best into my evenings and weekends. I’m available for walks after work and have more flexibility on weekends for extra time with pets. I will follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, and playtime, and I make sure they get plenty of attention and affection. I’m attentive to their needs, keep their space clean and make sure they feel secure while their owners are away.

I’ve been the go‑to dog walker and pet‑check‑in person for neighbors for over 10 years, and caring for furry friends has genuinely become one of my favorite parts of life. I’m extremely reliable, consistent, and always treat every dog like they’re one of my own and trust me, mine set the bar high. Big dogs, small dogs, shy dogs, wild dogs - I walk them all like they’re my own. ❣️ I’m currently attending Cleveland State University’s Accelerated Nursing Program, and because the program is fully online, it gives me incredible flexibility throughout the day. I’m able to structure my coursework around your pet’s needs, which means I can reliably stop in for walks, check‑ins, feedings, or whatever support your family needs. Caring for animals fits naturally into my daily routine, and I love having that balance of studying and spending time with your furry one. When I’m caring for a pet whether in my home or yours my approach is simple: treat them like family and keep their routine steady, safe, and stress‑free. • Routine consistency - I follow your pet’s normal schedule for meals, walks, potty breaks, and playtime so everything feels familiar and comforting. • Detailed communication - You’ll get updates, photos, and notes so you always know how your furry one is doing. • Respect for your space - I keep your home tidy, follow all house rules, and make sure your pet’s environment stays clean and safe. • Behavior + comfort check‑ins - I pay attention to mood, appetite, energy, and any changes so you’re always in the loop. • Experience with large breeds I currently own two gentle giants a Saint Bernedoodle and a Goldendoodle, both over 100 lbs so I’m very comfortable managing big personalities and big paws. • Play, enrichment, and affection - Walks, mental stimulation, cuddles, and attention are all part of the package. • Cleanliness + comfort - Fresh water, clean bowls, cozy rest spots, and a calm environment are always maintained. Why You Can Trust Me: • 10+ years of experience caring for neighbors’ pets • Extremely reliable. Can't say enough positive things about Janet and her services - she took great care of Scarlet, our 12.5-year-old dog and sent wonderful reports of each visit. We strongly feel that Janet gave us peace of mind while my husband was at work and I was out of town. Thanks to Janet and Rover!

Nicole was truly amazing and was so flexible with us. She respected our home and had patience with our puppy. She’s a great communicator and always stood in touch with us. If you’re ever looking for someone local and affordable, Nicole outshines the competition! Thank you!!

Paige was incredible! They hopped in super last minute and were able to stop in and take care of my pup after a sitter canceled. They followed all directions and was very patient with our boy in a situation that was new for him. Could not recommend enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
