About: As a lifelong animal lover, I understand that pets are family, and I strive to provide the same level of care, attention, and patience that I would want for my own. My background in healthcare has taught me how to be responsible, detail-oriented, and attentive to the unique needs of every individual, skills that translate naturally to pet care. I am currently a Master's student in Medical Physiology at Case Western Reserve University, which has helped me develop strong time-management, responsibility, and organizational skills. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals as a balance to my studies. Despite a busy academic schedule, I am very intentional about managing my time and maintaining commitments. Whether it's morning walks, midday drop-in visits, evening care, or weekend sitting, I enjoy incorporating pet care into my routine because it allows me to spend time outdoors and connect with animals while helping pet owners have peace of mind. Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every pet with patience, attentiveness, and compassion. As someone pursuing a career in healthcare, I value reliability, clear communication, and attention to detail, and I bring those same qualities to caring for your furry family members. I am committed to ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any specific preferences or needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and mental stimulation while also keeping their environment clean and safe. If providing care in my own home, I would ensure pets have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, fresh water, and opportunities for play and rest. My goal is always to make pets feel as relaxed and loved as possible, whether they are in their own home or mine.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life and started watching dogs for family and friends while in college and couldn't have my own. I've enjoyed watching pets for my loved ones and now that I am in a house and working remotely I want to be able to provide my pet care experience to more fur babies. While the majority of my experience is with dogs I've also taken care of cats, fish, anoles, bearded dragons, rabbits, chinchillas, and hedgehogs. I'm open to caring for all sorts of animals and I'm able to be flexible with your needs. I work outside the house part time so when pets are with me they are my first priority and I only accept pets when I know I have enough time to give them all the attention they need. I have caged animals that I let out when I can supervise them so they house is animal proofed and anything potentially harmful is locked away. I have baby gates that can be put up to keep puppies/ elderly dogs from falling down the stairs. My back yard is enclosed on 3 sides by fencing and would be watched and leashed at all times when outside.

About: i’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes for several years now and always treat them as my own. your dog will feel right at home at my house with lots of room for play time and also lots of cozy places to snuggle! I work full time but am available intermittently through the week and on weekends for daytime and overnight care. We enjoy taking walks and exploring the city but also napping and relaxing when needed! I have a semi fenced in yard that is pretty spacious. Dogs are always leashed when taken out for safety purposes. Cleanliness is a top priority along with making sure your dog is happy and healthy.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends for many years. I love to play with the kitties, go on walks with the pups and just generally hang out with your furry friends! I work about 30 hours a week in food service, usually between 8am-5pm. My job is close to my house so I don’t have much of a commute either. So I have ample time to check in/hang out/go on walks with any of your furry friends! I am clean, tidy and will leave it how I found it! I like my own environment to be neat as well. Cat toys on the floor are fine tho!

About: I've been an animal person my entire life. I grew up helping pet-sit the neighborhood dogs, and my family loved a rescue German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix from the time I was 10 (she was 2) until she was 15 - she watched us grow up and even visited my college house. As an adult, my heart belonged to January, a border collie/American Staffordshire terrier mix I brought home in my late 20s after seeing her story on the news. She was an energetic, clever puppy who taught me patience, consistency, and the value of positive training. We had 13 wonderful years together before she passed in November 2025. Losing January left a hole in my routine and my heart, and I’m not quite ready to adopt again - but I’ve found real joy and healing in caring for other people's pets. I've recently house-sat and hosted dogs, cats, and birds for friends and family, from puppies and kittens to seniors on medications with special needs. That experience, plus a gentle nudge from the people who suggested Rover, is what brings me here. I've used the same trusted vet since I was a kid and know the ropes - comfortable administering medication, contacting the vet, or getting emergency care if needed. Your pet will be loved, watched closely, and cared for like one of my own. I work a hybrid schedule: two days at home (typically Monday and Friday) and three 8-hour days in an Avon Lake office (Tuesday-Thursday). My schedule is flexible and easy to swap these days. I can use my noon lunch break for midday walks, potty breaks, and playtime if you're within 5-10 miles of my location. I’m available in the evenings after work for walks, feeding & visits. I'm also happy to water plants, bring in mail, and handle other small house-sitting tasks. I live in a cozy Lakewood duplex on the first floor with a front yard and porch that dogs (including my former dog and the neighbors’ dogs) love to lounge on. I have a yard stake leash available for safe outdoor time. I already have bowls, beds, leashes, and other supplies, so your pup won't need to travel with a pile of gear if you don’t want to. I can board up to two dogs at a time -any size, any friendly mix - but I don't board cats in my home (happy to care for them at yours).
