I have always loved animals and my most rewarding challenges and joys has been as a pet parent. I have had at least 2 dogs at a time for the last 34 years, including special needs rescue pups. Currently, I have an English Bulldog, Goldendoodle, and a retired ex-racing Greyhound. Grooming, walking, and taking care of my dogs is something I have happily done for years, though not professionally. Their care, in all aspects, is my responsibility and extending my personal experiences to helping other pet parents is a natural fit. In the past, I have enrolled in dog training classes in and, in working with a behaviorally challenged pup, also received training at The Behavior Clinic (Olmsted Falls) in the “clicker” method to properly reward the behaviors we want in our dogs. On occasion, I have also opened my home to fostering dogs from several of the rescue organizations I have adopted dogs from in the past. Not concentrating on a particular breed has exposed me to a variety of behaviors and personalities. I love dogs and take pet parenting responsibilities seriously and welcome the opportunity to share with other pet parents.
