“Abby is the best! Mickey loved his stay and feels right at home. Abby is warm and caring and treats Mickey like he is her own. She sent pictures and provided updates. Mickey especially likes playtime in the yard. Abby is fantastic and we will definitely use her again.”
“Stephanie has been fantastic and is so sweet with Louie! She sent updates throughout the day even though I can’t always respond and I know he was very comfortable and happy with her!”

“They are such kind people with a beautiful home and great setup for dogs. Our Lulu was so excited to come back and see them again. It was a great stress reliever for us to have a puppy break on Thanksgiving day so that we could cook, get ready and visit family; our puppy is very high energy! We know she's in wonderful care there - much better than the commercial doggie daycare facilities we've seen. Lulu returns home happy and tired from having such a fun day. And we love the photos and updates they send. We're so thankful for Michael and Regina!”

“Ms. Stephanie is a caring, dedicated, loving, and genuine pet owner and pet sitter. She is outstanding and it shows. My pet absolutely loved every moment with Ms. Stephanie and her family. Highly recommended.”

“Maria provided quality care for Calvin during his daycare stay. She sent pictures and updates and her follow up communication has been very good. Calvin loved playing with her pups and enjoyed his day.”

“Kevin and Roselie are amazing and you can tell they really care about animals. We dropped our Lola off and they updated us regularly with how she was doing. We are definitely using them again, I would recommended them to anyone.”

“Alexandria is the best dog-sitter. This is our first time using Rover. She just really took care of our dog. She sent photos and even gave her a toy. We will definitely go to her again”

About: Hi, my name is Tina! I grew up on a farm in rural PA which has provided me with a lifetime of caring for animals. I actually cannot remember a time when I haven’t had a pet. When I moved to Cleveland I didn’t know anyone here and I was working 12 hour night shifts. With my work schedule (and before Rover), finding dog sitting/walking was tough. Now that my job has become more flexible and I have the luxury of providing pet services, I want to make this task as easy as possible on you and your pup. I am comfortable giving both oral and injection medications. I am pet first aid and CPR certified. And also carry full pet liability insurance. My love for animals doesn’t stop at dogs. I can also drop-in to your home to look after your cats and other pets (birds, fish, rodents, reptiles, etc) - I have experience with them all. *Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate high energy dogs at this time* I am a registered nurse who works on an as needed basis so I am home most of the day except when I am out providing dog walks and drop-in services. My partner (Rick) works from home 100% of the time so there will always be at least one set of eyes, if not two, on your furry friend. *All of my clients will receive photos daily.* I know it’s hard to leave your doggo behind, but I will ensure that they are well cared for while you are away. We have a quiet, comfortable, clean home for your pup to enjoy in a safe and friendly neighborhood. We have a spacious, fully fenced in backyard with a doggie door that will fit up to 40lbs - meaning your dog will have 24/7 access to the outside. And pet cameras to watch them on if we so happen to not be home. We currently have 2 rescue dogs and a cat in our home - all of which are spayed/neutered, up to date with vaccines, and are non-territorial with new dogs. Whether it is humans or animals - providing loving care is my passion. I will treat your furry family member as one of my own.
“Today was Oakley’s first time for daycare at Leslie’s and all the dogs hit it off! Leslie is friendly and communicative. Oakley is worn out and I’m happy he had a good day at Leslie’s home.”

“Terrie is the best. She is very down to earth and immediately makes you and your dog feel right at home. She clearly is very experienced watching dogs and was able to accommodate mine last minute. She was also very thoughtful in how the dogs made introductions to avoid any over excitement. Her house is perfect for dogs with a nice fenced yard. Could not recommend her enough.”

About: My husband and I own a very sweet, playful Great Dane/mastiff and a pure bred English Mastiff. We have experience with all kinds of dogs and other animals. We have a large finished upstairs where our dog loves to run and play. We have a large backyard that is fully fenced/gated. We walk daily (in nice weather). We have fun toys to play with and a whole room for your dog to sleep in (instead of a cage) but if your dog prefers a cage we have a huge one he can sleep in (or you can bring your own). I stay home so your pet will have plenty of company! We have three young girls who absolutely love playing with dogs. They are gentle and dogs always love them.
About: I have a high-energy dog that has prepared me in all aspects of pet care! I am well-versed in on- and off-leash exercise and have plenty of ideas for indoor enrichment activities. Having raised my own dog from 6 weeks old, I’m familiar with all of the accidents that can happen when pets are home alone. I’ve also cared for elderly and medically-complex dogs. I work remotely during the school year and have summers off. My work is in pacific time, giving me plenty of time in the morning to take your pet on a walk, play outside, or just keep them company. Of course, when I’m off in the summer, I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets! I am open to the safety, trust, and environment guidelines set by each pet owner. As the owner of a needy dog, I understand that each family has different preferences for keeping their home and pets safe!
“Thanks Joe!!! You are just amazing with Reagan and so appreciate you. Ring able to take her on short notice. We trust you completely with our furry kids and home!”
“Cooper loves Jeffany! We will continue to keep coming back. Jeffany provides consistent updates and pictures throughout the day. Highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve grown up around pets and have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve looked after pets for family and friends, including daily walks, feeding, playtime, litter box cleanup, and giving lots of love and attention. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, cuddly lap dogs, and independent cats alike. Your furry friend will always be safe, happy, and cared for as if they were my own! I’m currently a college student with a flexible schedule! I’m available for morning walks before classes, afternoon/evening drop-ins, and weekend care. My class schedule leaves me with open blocks of time during the day, and I’m happy to adjust as needed to make sure your pets are cared for when you need it most. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. In your home, I follow your routines closely—feeding, walking, playtime, and any special instructions you give me—so your pets feel secure and cared for. I always make sure doors are locked, food and water bowls are refreshed, and litter boxes or yards are cleaned before I leave. When walking dogs, I use secure leashes, avoid unsafe areas, and keep a close eye on their behavior. I give cats space to adjust if they’re shy, and provide gentle play and affection when they’re ready. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I’ll always send you updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry friend is safe and happy.
About: ✅Genuinely love all animals and want them to be happy ✅ Always willing to meet/greet before so you are 💯 comfortable ✅Very experienced (30 years of dog and cat care, from puppies to senior dogs with special needs, my own pets lived up to 22 years old) ✅ specially trained and very experienced dog enrichment (walk, run, hike) volunteer at the City Dogs (Cleveland Kennel) ✅Flexible schedule (freelance fashion photographer) ✅Reliable and trustworthy (run my own business since 2004, no criminal record of any kind, home owner in Lakewood, proud mom of two older kids, in a happy relationship :) ✅Fit and active (run marathons, hike mountains like Inca trail to Machu Picchu, exercise every day) ✅2 reliable cars fit to accommodate any size dog (Toyota Yaris and 4Runner SUV) ✅comfortable with any size dog, love cats, have both ✅ dog training is always part of my services (reactive leash pulling, heeling, manners, etc) ✅ you can trust me with your home - 77 five star reviews on Airbnb - attached some screenshots in the pictures. Services description: 1) Pet sitting at the client’s home: I stay at your home full time at night and most of the day (with the exception of a couple departures if any, but never more than 3 hours). I don’t raid your fridge or bar and treat your home with respect. I walk, play, feed, clean up after your pets. We cuddle and sleep together at night and they get lots of love. I leave the house exactly the way you left it, no surprises:) I provide uninterrupted routine for your babies and treat them like my own. You find your pets happy and relaxed. Up to 3 walks 20-30 min each a day are included. 2) House drop ins: I feel this service is more for cats who don’t need to be walked. I come in, clean up any accidents, feed the pet, administer medication if needed, play, give cuddles and make sure I leave water bowl full. 3) Pet walk: I come in, take the pet out for a walk. We work on our manners, leash training, etc. For the high energy pups we can jog together. For high energy dogs I suggest upgrading to 50 min. I try to improve dog training every time we hang out together and build on what we learned. I leave with water bowl full unless instructed otherwise. If dog needs to be crated, I can also do that before leaving. 4) Boarding: I own a 3 level home and your fur baby would reside on the living room/kitchen floor. It has front door entrance, covered patio, plenty of cozy room to roam around, access to water bowl and food bowls during feeding time. If your pet is dog friendly, I will introduce my cute dogs (Mini Bernedoodle and mini Dachshund) to him so they play. If not - no worries, my dogs will be kept in a different living level with another exit door, so they don’t trouble each other. I have a fully fenced in yard (with no escape cracks even for smallest dogs) and provide walks/potty breaks every 2-3 hours. You are welcome to bring in anything you wish, and a crate if you want your dog crated at night, for example. If you prefer not to crate - during boarding I will be sleeping on the couch in the living room so they will be safe and are welcome to sleep with me. We treat them as family! See photos in the end of the gallery for pictures of where your fur baby will stay - example with our recent guest 8 month old Chandler whom my dogs adored. We have a cat who grew up around my dogs and is very dog friendly but for the sake of guest dogs we keep him upstairs on our bedrooms level, there is a tall gate to that level so it is fully secure. My kids are 13 and 15 and very responsible and animal loving. I truly love animals of all kinds. Always had a pet in my family. Been responsibly taking care of dogs since I was 14 - my cocker spaniel, childhood dog whom I even was able to cut hair and groom:) All my dogs live/lived a very long life - 15-22 years. Through my life I have adopted German shepherd (when he was 8, and took care of him through severe hip dysplasia until he was 15 and vet recommended putting him to sleep), adopted Toy fox terrier at age 6 who was abused and bit me several times but I never abandoned him and he lived until 22 - last 4 years deaf, blind, but still was full of life and always wanted to cuddle. I saved and nursed a baby squirrel until it was grown enough to take to wild life center. I fed it kitten milk from a tiny bottle :) I raised a puppy who is now 3, and another who is now 1, so I have patience and experience with the little ones. I have extensive experience administering medicines to pets - shots, oral, etc. Taking care of seniors, dogs with double hernia, dogs with mobile difficulties (I can help their hind legs with a towel so they can walk), doggie diapers - you name it. I am not a little bit squirmish because I truly love animals and they love me back. With larger breeds I am very confident and can take care of the ones who are leash reactive or not very well trained. A bit about myself: moved here with my family from L.A. and proud home owner in Lakewood. Freelance fashion photographer since 2004. I used to ride horses and am very fit and strong. I run marathons and hike up mountains. I am thrilled to take your dogs out as much as they would like. I drive reliable hutch back car and can fit up to 2 large Shepherds in to run in the metropark should you have multiple large friends:) Oh, and when watching pets in your home I would absolutely love if they want to cuddle in bed with me:))) But won’t force them:)) Overall I raised also two kids, have a great family, and I am currently 45. I have been scaling down my work travels so I would love to help you when you need me. Hoping to get many repeat clients! Feel free to reach out with any questions! Freelance fashion photographer, I started dog care business as a passion project as I love pets and as an extra motivation to step away from laptop and get those hikes in. When not traveling for fashion shoots, I work on the laptop from home and my schedule is very flexible. I can adjust to the schedule you prefer, so it’s easiest on your pets and you. I have used Rover before for my own pets when traveling so I can anticipate what questions to ask. Ideally I would provide uninterrupted routine and lots of attention, exercise, cuddles and games.
“Rose Ann is absolutely amazing - just finished week 2 of dropping off my puppies and tails are at full wag when I drop them off every morning. She updates throughout the day & is very adaptable to your fur babies’ needs! We will of course continue to drop off Charlie & Phoenix to Rose Ann.”

“Anastasia was unbelievably accommodating for my last minute booking. She kept me updated on how my dog was doing throughout the day, which left me with a huge sense of relief. Her two dogs kept mine entertained and exercised - huge bonus! I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Christine was amazing!! I was so nervous leaving my new puppy with a stranger (first time mom problems) but she was absolutely perfect. Took great care of him and kept such diligent watch. She is such a sweet person and will love your dog as if they’re your own. Will definitely be back!!”
Brooklyn dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amazing as always! Linda is so intuitive to our dogs and enjoys caring for them. It is such a relief to have such dependable care while being away. She makes it stress free so we can stay in the moment during vacation and still see great photos of our dogs daily. Mae and Henry LOVE Linda!

This is the second time that Stephanie and Michelle have watched Riley and it’s been great every time!! They even kept Riley a little later than the scheduled time for us. They send pictures and they always let us know how she’s doing. We’re going to definitely book them again!!!

We were quite nervous to leave our dogs for the day while exploring Cleveland—it was their first time being cared for by someone outside the family. Our girls are naturally shy and the smallest of them rarely warms up to anyone, even people they've known for a while. They're deeply bonded to me and typically won't let anyone else handle their leashes. But Caden's gentle, calming presence worked wonders. We watched in amazement as they walked off with him without a hint of resistance. Throughout the day, he kept us updated with thoughtful messages and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind. When we picked them up, the girls were relaxed and happy—no stress, no discomfort, just simply happy to see us. Caden is professional, communicative, and genuinely cares about the animals in his care. We honestly wish he lived closer because finding someone this trustworthy and skilled is rare.

Anastasia was unbelievably accommodating for my last minute booking. She kept me updated on how my dog was doing throughout the day, which left me with a huge sense of relief. Her two dogs kept mine entertained and exercised - huge bonus! I will definitely be booking with her again.
