About: Hi! My name is Ebony, and I’m a college student pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and currently have a dog of my own, so caring for animals isn’t just a job… it’s my passion. With my background, I’m comfortable administering oral medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and responding appropriately in emergency situations. Cleanliness and organization are very important to me, and I always make sure your home and your pet’s space are left tidy. I am more than happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you always know how your fur baby is doing while you’re away. ❤️ While I attend school full-time , my availability outside of classes is fully dedicated to your pet’s care. I currently offer in-home sitting and walking services so your pet can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their daily routine. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a little girl, and have had 3 of my own growing up at my parents house. Some people think I'm crazy, but I look at dogs as humans. I treat and talk to them as if they were human lol. My family recently got a baby poodle 3 years ago, but I recently moved to Chicago from Cleveland 3 months ago and I miss by dog so much. I have babysat my whole life, and have taken care of small puppies all the way to cane corso. Im very loving with dogs and treat them all as if they were my own. Like I said, everything thinks I'm nuts, but I think dogs deserve the same amount of love as humans. I have my own business and work from home and make my own hours. I joined Rover simply because I miss my dog so much at home and have the time during the day and would love to take care of a little one. My apartment building is very modern and spacious. I have a 2 bedroom and am on the first floor with a patio, I would feel more comfortable taking caring of a smaller dog. There is tons grass and walking areas around me as well.

I grew up around cats and have been a dog owner myself for the past 5 years, in addition to regularly caring for friends’ dogs. I work a 9–5 job from home, which means your pet gets plenty of company throughout the day rather than being left alone for hours. I’m also able to take dogs on an extended walk during my lunch break, so they can get some exercise, fresh air, and attention in the middle of the day. Whether your pet needs a long walk, some playtime, a cozy companion while you’re away, or just a little extra TLC, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I’m dependable, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and preferences. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for! My weekly routine is pretty consistent, which is great for dogs who love having a predictable schedule! Every workday I start each morning with a trip to the gym, then come home and take the pups on a nice, extended walk through the Metroparks near my house. Once we’re home, I settle into work for a few hours while the dogs get some downtime. I have a fenced-in yard, so I like to let them out regularly throughout the morning to stretch their legs, sniff around, and get some fresh air. Lunchtime means another extended walk! It’s a great way to break up the workday and give everyone a chance to burn off some energy. Afterward, my own dog usually settles in for a well-earned afternoon nap while I finish up work. Once the workday wraps up, we usually head outside for one more walk before settling in for the evening. If everyone’s feeling a little less energetic, we’ll skip the walk and have some backyard fun instead, such as fetch, tug-of-war, or just general goofing around. Basically, your pup can expect plenty of exercise, fresh air, playtime, and company throughout the day, with lots of opportunities to relax and recharge too. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is to provide a comfortable, low-stress home environment where pups can feel like part of the family. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely get outside for fresh air and playtime, along with plenty of opportunities for walks and exercise throughout the day. Since I work from home, I’m also around to keep an eye on things and make sure everyone is doing well. For daycare and boarding, I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, crate time, and any other preferences or house rules you provide. I’ll also make sure dogs have time to relax and nap when they need a break from all the excitement. When introducing dogs to my home, I prioritize compatibility and a gradual introduction so everyone feels comfortable. I want every pup staying with me to feel safe, supervised, and genuinely at home, not like they’re being dropped off somewhere unfamiliar.
