About: Starting on September 1st, I begin a new job that is from 8am-5:30pm M-F. I've always grown up with animals. I was born into a family with two older dogs, and grew up with 2 family dogs, Maggie & Henry, whom I loved and adored as family. When I moved to graduate school, I adopted two cats, Plum & May. I didn't grow up with cats, but during college up to now I spend time at local animal shelters volunteering and helping to socialize cats where I have time. Currently, I spend my free time trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats in my neighborhood to give them better, safer lives. I work an 8-5pm job M-F currently in Cleveland. I am a graduate student, which does mean I am relatively busy, However, I am more than willing to try to fit pet-sitting/walking into my schedule. We can talk more about this if you want to book with me! I always like to get a detailed account of the owner's daily routine with the pet, as well as any medical or physical concerns I should be looking out for. If the client approves, I like to err on the side of reaching out if I have questions or concerns, rather than waiting until they get back. Additionally, having emergency veterinary information is a must, as I am willing to do what is necessary to keep your pet safe.

Makenna was tasked with walking my very energetic, young, German Shepherd. She did not disappoint! My dog seemed to love walking with her, and Makenna has been very respectful, patient, and loving to my dog even though they just met! Makenna follows instructions to a T, is very thorough with providing me with updates, and has the utmost respect to your property and your pet! If Makenna can handle the energy of my dog, and provide it with good mid day safe exercise, she can do it for any dog. I would highly recommend Makenna for anyone’s pet care needs!

About: Hi, I’m Kris! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I have two years of professional experience working in a busy doggy daycare, where I was responsible for safely supervising and caring for up to 20 dogs at a time. That experience taught me how to read canine body language, manage group play, administer medications, maintain proper cleaning and disinfection protocols, and provide a safe, low-stress environment for every dog in my care. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes, including puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and pets with behavioral challenges or special medical needs. I’ve also fostered dogs in my home, which has given me additional experience helping nervous or transitioning pets feel safe and comfortable. At home, I’m a proud pet parent to three dogs and a cat, so I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking buddy, a patient companion, medication, or simply lots of love and attention while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. My goal is simple: to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and happy every step of the way. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! et care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already structure my day around consistency and animal care. I have experience managing multiple pets at once, so I’m used to building my schedule around feeding times, litter box maintenance, play sessions, and check-ins. I’m typically available mornings, afternoons, and evenings, which allows me to provide reliable drop-in visits and maintain a steady routine for each pet I care for. I’m comfortable incorporating visits into my day-to-day activities, and I plan my time so pets always get full attention without feeling rushed. Because I’ve worked in structured animal care settings and have fostered pets in my home, staying on top of routines like feeding, cleaning, medication, and companionship is second nature to me. Caring for animals isn’t something I “fit in”—it’s something I naturally organize my day around I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment in every pet care visit. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. I’m careful with home entry and follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication routines, and any house rules. I keep doors secured during visits, monitor pets closely during interactions, and make sure their environment stays clean, comfortable, and safe at all times. Building trust with both pets and owners is important to me. I approach each animal with patience and respect, especially shy, senior, or anxious pets, and I always move at their comfort level. My goal is to create a safe, consistent experience so pets feel secure while you’re away and you feel

About: From the time I was a child, my heart has always belonged to animals. Whether it was rescuing injured birds, feeding stray cats, or gently caring for lost pets until they found their way back home, I’ve always felt like their protector. My compassion has always shined through very instinctively to understand their needs and see their worth, no matter how small. Over the years, that love for them has only deepened turning simple acts of kindness into a lifelong devotion to giving animals safety, comfort, and love. Caring for animals has always been my greatest passion, and has always felt like my calling in life. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities while they are in my home. I provide a calm, clean, and pet friendly environment where animals are always supervised, treated with care, and made to feel right at home. I follow any routines, feeding instructions, and special needs you share. I am attentive to each pet’s unique personality and comfort level. With a secure space, lots of love, and close attention, you can feel confident knowing your pet is safe, protected, and always well cared for while you’re away! Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine, not something I squeeze in around other commitments. I plan my schedule around feeding times, play, exercise, litter or potty breaks, and quiet companionship so each pet receives consistent, attentive care. Because caring for animals is part of my regular routine, I’m able to provide dependable supervision, follow established schedules, and respond quickly to pets needs. This steady presence helps pets feel comfortable, secure, and relaxed while they are in my care. I care for pets with patience, consistency, and close attention, whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in yours. In my home, pets are welcomed into a safe, clean, and calm environment where they are supervised, kept comfortable, and treated like family. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines closely to help pets feel secure and stress free. I respect each pet’s unique needs, personality, and preferences, and I communicate with owners to ensure peace of mind. My goal is always to provide dependable, loving care so pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for wherever they are.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
