About: For the past four years, I’ve been actively involved in running a busy in-home dog boarding and daycare business through Rover. While my former partner handled most of the client communication and scheduling, I was heavily involved in the day-to-day care of the dogs and was responsible for making sure they were safe, happy, exercised, and well cared for throughout their stay. I regularly cared for multiple dogs at a time, including dogs staying with us 24/7. My responsibilities included taking dogs outside every 1–2 hours, supervising playtime and group interactions, providing exercise and enrichment, cleaning up after them, and paying close attention to their individual personalities and behaviors.
