I work remotely in communications and marketing, so I have open availability and am very flexible with my time and attention. I’ve been an in-house sitter and dog walker for many friends over the last several years and have lots of experience with senior pets and anxious dogs.

When I’m at your house, your pet is treated like family! I have two indoor-only cats who love playtime and cuddling, but I also have experience sitting for anxious dogs and senior pets, and cats that need daily medicine. I’m patient, calm and caring, and happy to sit with them, walk them or play indoor and outdoor.

James is Awesome! He took great care of our cat Rudy. Each day we got updates on everything he ate and pictures of them playing. You can tell right away he really loves and cares about animals. He has two cats of his own. I would highly recommend him.

This was my first time using Rover, and James made the entire process incredibly easy. Before I even booked, he took the time to explain how everything worked and answered all my questions, which helped me feel comfortable right away. During the first week of appointments, he continued to check in, guide me through the app, and make sure I knew what to expect. He visits three days a week to help socialize my very grumpy, very particular cat, and he’s been so patient with her. He gives her space when she needs it, tries gently to engage when she’s willing, and always makes sure she’s fed and cared for. He’s flexible, kind, and clearly committed to helping her warm up at her own pace. The photos he takes are great. They always capture her personality and the fun notes he leaves on each report card make the updates something I look forward to. His consistency and care have made a real difference, and I’m grateful to have found someone I trust.
James was a wonderful house- and pet-sitter. He was considerate of both our departure and our return. He walked the dog daily, cleaned up before our return home and kept the pets safe and happy. Highly recommend!!
James was our savior when I messed up the original animal watching schedule while I was out of town- he handled my pack- with a very large age range- like a champ! He was very communicative and didn’t hesitate to let me know if he had any questions. Would highly recommend!
James was absolutely amazing!!! Took great care of my senior cat Vino who has asthma. I can't recommend James enough! I felt such relief and comfort knowing Vino was in good hands while I was traveling.

Schedule
I work from home, fully remote, so I’m very flexible! Most of my job involves on-screen virtual meetings, writing and phone interviews so I’m happy to break up my day with walks, cuddles, snuggles and play time!
