About: I say the above because for many years, my long time dog buddy, Shelby (pictured in the photo I'm holding), loved to ride in my car, right by my side. Shelby passed away in 2018 and I miss her so much, every day. In 2019, I rescued a blue heeler/beagle mix, Nova; then in 2024, a shepherd mix, Holly. Dogs have been my companions for more than 40 years, and I have loved caring for, walking, playing, vacationing and just plain hanging with them. . I truly love dogs. They are one of humankind's most noble and steadfast animal friends. I would very much enjoy taking your best friend (or friends) for a walk. I have always enjoyed the company of my canines...and I'm sure I'd feel the same way about your four-legged pals. Plus, getting out with them is great exercise...for both dog and human! I am semi retired, so I have much flexibility in the hours that can be devoted to dog walking. I walk my own dogs in all kinds of weather, which is necessary given the variable climate here in NE Ohio! In my own home, my dogs get out for walks at least three times a day, we well as potty breaks where necessary. They have crates where they can freely go to when they wish to. Most important is that the dogs and I adhere to a stable, regular routine, including feeding and playtimes.
“Kristi is wonderful! My puppy: Gordie immediately loved her which made me feel very comfortable. She has excellent communication and taught me how to see her walking route on the rover app. I have already rebooked with her and will continue to do so!”

“Brian is awesome! Such a huge help to me and such a gift to my 5 month old puppy. The walks while I'm at work during the day are so beneficial for my pup so she's not stuck in her crate all day, plus she's getting extra leash training on top of it! Brian is very reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Hiring Brian to walk my Sadie is the best decision I've made in a long time.”

About: I have grown up with a dog in my house since I was born. I have taken care of neighbors and friends dogs while they have went on vacation or just out of town for work. Since moving away for college and now graduate school, I am looking for my dog fix since I cannot own one myself We are in the middle of being back to school and that includes me as well. I am currently in graduate school so I will keep my calendar as up to date as I can. If you are looking to book with me but see my availability is different then what you’re looking for, please still send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate to make it work! Since I am not able to host dogs at my current place of residence, this will allow the dog to feel more comfortable with a stranger coming to take care of them while the owners are away for however long. I will adjust to their routine so they hardly notice the owners are gone. They will receive all the belly rubs and love they could ask for until their owner returns home
“Amazing worked with me on short notice very understanding I was so nervous about my puppy with a stranger but with amber I feel confident that my pups in good hands. She working with her on not pulling which I can already tell is working. she the best! 10/10 recommend”

About: I have had a dog my entire life. I helped provide senior care for my childhood lab who had issues walking and have self trained two puppies. I have had a cat for nearly 7 years and have cat sit for several friends and neighbors. I work remotely from home so I am am available when your pet needs me. I am a night owl while my partner is an earlier rise pets have someone awake at almost all hours. I have a fenced yard although I never leave my pets outside unattended, some sections of fence are less secure for smaller dogs or professional escape artists but can be temporarily altered when needed. I also provide walks and indoor playtime.
“Mitch has been great with our nervous pup! His patience and dog training background have already given her more confidence on walks. I wish we’d found Mitch sooner!”

“Highly recommended- Emily was punctual, professional, and treated my dogs like they were her own. It brought me great peace of mind to know she was walking them while I was unable to.”
About: I’ve been caring for animals since childhood and have experience house-sitting for a variety of pets. I’m patient, attentive, and always make sure pets receive the exercise and mental stimulation they need, whether it’s a game of fetch or interactive play. I am currently working a part time job, and I am a graduate student at Cleveland State University! I always check on the pets prior to my shifts, and after of course. I’m constantly double checking on the pets and whatever needs done. I can feed and give them water, take them out for walks, and give them lots of attention.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life! I grew up with 2 dogs, and my whole family also has dogs that I often take care of for them when they go on trips! The hours I work don’t allow me to have a pet of my own, but I’d love to take care of yours! I’m a pediatric nurse at rainbow babies and children’s hospital, and I work 3 days a week which leaves lots of days to care for your pet! Working 12 shifts doesn’t allow me to have a pet of my own, so I’d love to care for yours! Being a nurse I have a caring and safe nature about me, which caries over into everyday life. I will do everything I can to make your pet feel loved, cared for, and safe while you’re away!
Fairview Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
We booked a walk with Rachel for our puppy, who is also special needs. Rachel took amazing care of her, comforted our special girl and even took the time to make sure our senior dog got a potty break outside too. We would recommend her services and will be booking with her again in the future!

Arianna was a walker with my dog Flynn for about a year and a half and I am so thankful for her! She was communicative and friendly and always good about sharing what happened on the walk, etc. She took the time to truly know my dog and both he and I were able to rely on her consistently. She stayed with him on an overnight occurrence as well, and I would recommend her to any future pet owner - she’s great and we are sad to be losing her as she is moving!
