“Carrie has been awesome with my dog. I know he’s a little bit of a wild child sometimes but she’s been so good with him and it’s helped me out tremendously as my husband and I have a very busy work schedule. Could not recommend her more!”

“Hannah continues to be one of Gabe's favorite people! We have quickly gone from 4 days a week to 6 or 7 depending on the weather. I have a hard time keeping him calm. Every day, m8d morning he lays staring at the front door! Poor guy!”

“Dena was wonderful with my beagle. My dog loved having her here, even though my dog was scared to go for a walk with anyone else while I was away. She cuddled up to Dena and felt secure.”

About: I've assisted in taking care of my parent's dogs for years, from a grumpy old man dog to a chaotic 6 week old puppy, whether that be playing, making food, going for walks, and cleaning up accidents. I also have experience with provided medicine as needed. I am very flexible with timing as long as I know a week prior, but if it's short notice, I am mainly available in the mornings up until noon. I make sure to play, regularly let them go to the bathroom outdoors, feed them at appropriate times and if they want their space then I respect them.
“Jeannie was so wonderful with our 6 month old puppy! We needed a last minute dog walker, and she was able to come over for a meet and greet the day we booked her! She left us very detailed updates, as well as pictures and videos. She even left us a goody bag of dog treats that our pup loved!! Bilbo had so much fun with her and we would not hesitate to book with her again! Thanks Jeannie!”

About: I joined Rover at the end of 2023 and have been living in Maine until recently; now, as a dog lover and a yogi who loves to walk, I'm settled in Berea, OH, and have been volunteering as a dog walker at the Berea Animal Rescue Facility. I was raised with dogs and as an adult have been a mom of two fur babies: I trained Harper from puppyhood and raised him along with a younger rescue, Abby. I offer a flexible schedule to you and yours: neighborhood walks, hikes, and strolls along the water. I bring compassion, play, training, exercise, affection, and calm to your puppies and dogs’ worlds and look forward to connecting and serving. I am a caring, trustworthy person currently with no dog in my family. I enjoy exercising every day and engaging with dogs in an active or calming way, depending on need. From walking to feeding to play dates to administering oral meds and providing comfort, I focus on your dogs' comfort levels and needs. I love dogs.

About: PLEASE READ: I have started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and would like to grow it there rather than on Rover. If you are interested in hiring me, please search on Facebook or Google "Rachael's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting" or message me for the links, my website, or email. You can still read much of my current information here. I worked as a professional pet sitter for one of the biggest pet sitting companies in the Cleveland area for 2.5 years and have done pet sitting on my own since then. I have experience caring for many different types of animals of all ages and sizes. I have taken care of them when the owners were on vacation; feeding, giving medicine, walking, etc. I also do dog walking visits during the day for people who are at work or sometimes still home. I have had my own dogs, cats, and other small animals my whole life. I currently have a very part time remote job as a social media coordinator, and have recently started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and also do occasional freelance graphic design and photo editing. I am mainly looking to work in mornings and afternoons on weekdays, but can occasionally do nights and weekends too. I am available for daily dog walking in cities near Olmsted Falls, and can do occasional pet sitting in farther cities. I have professional experience caring for animals and being in client's homes. Before I worked as a pet sitter, I even cleaned houses for 4 years, while people were away, so I can be trusted in people's homes. I always make sure to hold a dog's leash tight, and make sure no pets get out when I come and go through a door. I also always make sure the door is locked when I leave. I will meet you and your pets before services begin to go over everything so I know exactly what to do and make sure the pets get to know me first.
