About: I say the above because for many years, my long time dog buddy, Shelby (pictured in the photo I'm holding), loved to ride in my car, right by my side. Shelby passed away in 2018 and I miss her so much, every day. In 2019, I rescued a blue heeler/beagle mix, Nova; then in 2024, a shepherd mix, Holly. Dogs have been my companions for more than 40 years, and I have loved caring for, walking, playing, vacationing and just plain hanging with them. . I truly love dogs. My cats are allowed anywhere throughout my home and are usually found either sleeping in my bed or on my couch basking in the sunlight and staring out the window. I also clean their litter box every morning so it smells good and they feel good about going to the bathroom in their box.
