About: I say the above because for many years, my long time dog buddy, Shelby (pictured in the photo I'm holding), loved to ride in my car, right by my side. Shelby passed away in 2018 and I miss her so much, every day. In 2019, I rescued a blue heeler/beagle mix, Nova; then in 2024, a shepherd mix, Holly. Dogs have been my companions for more than 40 years, and I have loved caring for, walking, playing, vacationing and just plain hanging with them. . I truly love dogs. They are one of humankind's most noble and steadfast animal friends. I would very much enjoy taking your best friend (or friends) for a walk. I have always enjoyed the company of my canines...and I'm sure I'd feel the same way about your four-legged pals. Plus, getting out with them is great exercise...for both dog and human! I am semi retired, so I have much flexibility in the hours that can be devoted to dog walking. I walk my own dogs in all kinds of weather, which is necessary given the variable climate here in NE Ohio! In my own home, my dogs get out for walks at least three times a day, we well as potty breaks where necessary. They have crates where they can freely go to when they wish to. Most important is that the dogs and I adhere to a stable, regular routine, including feeding and playtimes.
“Alicia did an excellent job, she was very patient, loving and caring. She showed much compassion towards my dog who wasn't as willing to go with her. She soon did and together they had such a great time on there walk. I would HIGHLY recommend.”

“Madelyn is so great with Bernie. It was raining earlier today, and Bernie normally won’t go outside. Not only did he go out with her, he went on a long walk. Thank you!”

About: I have grown up with a dog in my house since I was born. I have taken care of neighbors and friends dogs while they have went on vacation or just out of town for work. Since moving away for college and now graduate school, I am looking for my dog fix since I cannot own one myself With the summer starting and vacations coming up I will do my best to be available for your dogs. I do have other responsibilities such as school and work but I am always 100% with my clients if I will be a good fit for the stay/drop or not. If you are looking to book with me but see my availability is different then what you’re looking for, please still send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate to make it work! Since I am not able to host dogs at my current place of residence, this will allow the dog to feel more comfortable with a stranger coming to take care of them while the owners are away for however long. I will adjust to their routine so they hardly notice the owners are gone. They will receive all the belly rubs and love they could ask for until their owner returns home
“Upon meeting Carrie she was kind and professional, on time for my fur babies walk and my dog really liked her. I will definitely contact her again when I need a service in the future. Thanks Carrie!!”

“Allan was great with our dog! Very punctual, consistent communication, and helped us give medication when we found out our dog wasn’t feeling too well. He spent the whole time with our pup and would highly recommend!”

“Brian is awesome! Such a huge help to me and such a gift to my 5 month old puppy. The walks while I'm at work during the day are so beneficial for my pup so she's not stuck in her crate all day, plus she's getting extra leash training on top of it! Brian is very reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Hiring Brian to walk my Sadie is the best decision I've made in a long time.”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs since I was a child and offered free pet care for friends during college. Family and friends have trusted me to care, sit with, and walk their pets for years. I am currently working part-time so I am super flexible! I usually work mornings, so during the day to night I have full availability! I am very active and love to go walking throughout the day! I have stayed in other’s homes and would treat your home with the same respect as I would mine! I will perform any tasks and accommodations to the absolute best of my ability and am great at communication.
“Tyler is a great dog walker! He is very patient, communicative, reliable and awesome with larger breeds! I have an American Bully and he takes time to play with her and lets her sniff around on their walks. Really grateful for his weekly drop ins and walks with my pup! Tyler and Cashmere, have become great walking buddies. 10/10!!”

About: I’ve raised and taken care of both dogs and cats for many years. I have worked at a dog boarding and training facility. I have volunteered at a cat shelter and a dog rescue transportation organization. I have experience with many breeds and all sizes. I’ve taken care of young puppies up to seniors. I have experience in administering medication and working with scared and reactive dogs. I have a flexible schedule. I customize each service time to keep your pets close to their normal schedule. I provide walks, exercise, play time and care for your loved ones. Meet and greets are welcomed! I will personalize each client to meet the needs of their fur baby and ensure they are safe and comfortable.
About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and personalities. I have a Newfoundland dog and a cat of my own, but over the past year, my family and I have fostered rescue dogs of all sizes and ages—from just a few weeks old to a few years old. This has taught me how to quickly adapt to different energy levels, behaviors, and needs. Whether it’s a shy senior or a high-energy puppy, I take the time to understand and care for each pet’s unique personality with patience and love. Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine. I work part-time as a nanny, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m usually free in the early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and even at night. That means I can stop by for walks, playtime, or just to keep your pet company whenever they need it! When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy by following their usual routine. I’m always respectful of my clients’ space and make sure everything stays clean and secure. I also have experience with anxious pets and take the time to build trust at their pace—whether that means slow introductions, quiet company, or extra patience. Their well-being is always my top priority.
“Sam did a great job coming by to walk our pups while we were gone for the day. Provided updates and made sure the dogs were doing well. Looking forward to working with Sam in the future!”

“Sophia is a rockstar! She looked after my furball for a whole week and was incredibly patient with my dog's anxiety. They are now best friends! Strongly recommend Sophia for dog care services”
