A Couple of Dog Lovers
Having worked with dogs extensively over the past couple years and owning many different breeds and temperaments of dogs over the course of our lives, my husband and I are a confident, compassionate team of dog lovers willing to cater to your dogs preferences, quirks, and lifestyle. We specialize in working with senior dogs and dogs with different forms of anxiety. We are comfortable and capable of administering medications to your pups as their health/diagnoses requires and are especially sensitive to dogs with disabilities like blindness and deafness, or food allergies, skin conditions, food aggression, or incontinence, etc. We have three dogs of our own, all currently seniors (12 yr old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 10 yr old lab/pit mix, and 9 yr old German Shepard). We are very familiar with dogs with medical needs as our Chessie has a thyroid condition that we've been managing since his first year of life and our German Shepard is constantly fighting ear issues. We are able to administer medications, and monthlies such as Flea and Tick preventives and also have ample experience handling dogs undergoing heart worm treatment and recovery.

Safety, trust & environment
We have an extra tall security fenced in yard, are located within walking distance of the local park, minutes from the local dog park, and our residence is located on a dead end street, far back from any potentially dangerous main road. We leash walk all dogs on site and only allow play groups or trips to the parks with prior approval from owners.
Ratings and reviews
What wonderful people! I feel like Joshua and Mauren cared for my dog as they would their own. Their level of communication never left me wondering how things were going back home, while I was away. We had asked them to stay in our home, and they took such good care of it. I wouldn't hesitate to ask them to be a caregiver for my dog in the future.

Booking was made for May 22-25. It was clear from Rover.com and meet up interview. It was texted the night beforehand to what time I was leaving. I left out of town so concerns were placed from start as my plane landed in Florida. I even texted if I need to send someone else over to let pups out. I understand if it was an accident or emergency but I left at 4:30am-5pm. When they updated time from Rover.com they re booked the time for 7am the day I left and plane landed. I believe some blame was rover.com by dog sitter and also admitted mistake. I believe two -three numbers was used. Then I get a call from my neighbor late that evening if dog sitters were house and dog sitting. He knew both because he met them day of pet sitter interview but wanted to be sure before commenting. He mentioned that no one was there all day except for one early afternoon stop by. I called and texted the sitter. I asked if their car was there and he said no. But after I called and text me pictures they did arrive 25min. later. I tried as much as possible to trust Maureen and Josh. I even gave them a second chance with the remaining days. I feel u sure because my dogs are trained by treats but should never be left in a cage over 4-6hrs. It was not original plan from start date to finish. Anyone with smart phones can alter photos dates and times. The start time was disturbing and the first to many lies about whereabouts. First evening she messaged she was sleeping with the girls but after my call and text. She pulled in my driveway and let pups out and to take pictures. One backyard picture was when the sun was setting at time of calls and text. It was memorial weekend and not easy for a friend, family, or backup. I couldn’t fly back to Ohio. I feel between dog sitter and support team/emergency was neither supportive or team oriented. The sleepover was present but why was my dogs left in cage for hours end. If I wanted to pay for a pop over visit I would of paid accordingly. To stay the night and leave to carry on with life or other jobs/sittings left my contract at less than satisfactory. It was very unfair to the animals. To screenshot Friday night just seems to look more suspicious and back peddling to not provide and protect services at 100% Rover.com satisfactory. Please give 100-110% commitment as house and pet sitter.

Mauren & Josh were wonderful with my two dogs! They sent updates and pictures and their communication was wonderful. I already booked them again :)

Mauren & Josh were great with our dogs, patiently allowing them to get used to the new humans taking care of them. Great communication and photos rounded out their excellent and professional care. Thanks again, you two are a dynamic duo!

Mauren and Joshua were absolutely incredible taking care of our dog, Mariano! From the start, they went above and beyond anything we could have asked for. Not only did they give Mariano so much love, attention, and care, but they also treated our home with the same level of respect. They kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us total peace of mind, and it was clear Mariano was happy and comfortable the entire time. What really blew us away was the extra effort they put in—they brought in our packages and even took the time to fix a squeaky door. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. We couldn’t recommend Mauren and Joshua more highly. If you’re looking for sitters who genuinely care and go the extra mile, they’re the ones!
Mauren and Joshua are great! They took care of our 3 needy rescue pups for 5 days in our home and did an amazing job😊 One of them needs medications twice a day and it can be difficult to give him the meds, but they took care of him with no issues. We really appreciate them!

Schedule
We have both a morning and evening routine for our dogs and service clients throughout each day based on need/request. Our goal when working with clients is to maximize love, care and of course, potty breaks.
