About: I have loved and cared for dogs for many years. During college, I spent five years working in a veterinary office where I gained valuable experience. I have a friendly Golden retriever who enjoys having other dogs around (large or small). I have cared for dogs belonging to our friends and family while they travel and understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. I provide a safe, comfortable home where your dog can be a part of the family while enjoying our spacious fenced yard and receive plenty of attention. Our two children are older and comfortable with dogs. They understand how to be respectful around dogs so your dog will be joining a calm, family-oriented home. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine and will do my best to make your dog feel at home while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I am home much of the time and enjoy having dogs as part of our family routine. I have the flexibility to give boarding dogs plenty of attention and outdoor time. About: I’ve taken care of and had dogs ever since I was a little kid. I love them and will always treat your dog like family! I work from home, so my schedule is flexible on being able to watch dogs while at home and taking them out on walks during the week! About: I have grown up with a dog in my house since I was born. I have taken care of neighbors and friends dogs while they have went on vacation or just out of town for work. Since moving away for college and now graduate school, I am looking for my dog fix since I cannot own one myself With the summer starting and vacations coming up I will do my best to be available for your dogs. About: I say the above because for many years, my long time dog buddy, Shelby (pictured in the photo I'm holding), loved to ride in my car, right by my side. Shelby passed away in 2018 and I miss her so much, every day. In 2019, I rescued a blue heeler/beagle mix, Nova; then in 2024, a shepherd mix, Holly. Dogs have been my companions for more than 40 years, and I have loved caring for, walking, playing, vacationing and just plain hanging with them. . I truly love dogs. They are one of humankind's most noble and steadfast animal friends. I would very much enjoy taking your best friend (or friends) for a walk. I have always enjoyed the company of my canines...and I'm sure I'd feel the same way about your four-legged pals. Plus, getting out with them is great exercise...for both dog and human! I am semi retired, so I have much flexibility in the hours that can be devoted to dog walking. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
