“My chocolate Lab Bruno sprints from my car to her door every time I drop him off there. Needless to say he loves staying with Jenni and her family, and we have the peace of mind knowing he is loved and well taken care of.”

“Absolutely amazing care and communication. Stella's stay was perfect. So so thankful we found this family. And Stella now has a new doggie best friend!”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs for many years. During college, I spent five years working in a veterinary office where I gained valuable experience. I have a friendly Golden retriever who enjoys having other dogs around (large or small). I have cared for dogs belonging to our friends and family while they travel and understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. I provide a safe, comfortable home where your dog can be a part of the family while enjoying our spacious fenced yard and receive plenty of attention. Our two children are older and comfortable with dogs. They understand how to be respectful around dogs so your dog will be joining a calm, family-oriented home. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine and will do my best to make your dog feel at home while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I am home much of the time and enjoy having dogs as part of our family routine. I have the flexibility to give boarding dogs plenty of attention and outdoor time. I am able to accommodate each dog's normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, playtime and bedtime. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable in our home rather than staying in a kennel. Our home has a large fenced yard where dogs can safely play and explore. My friendly Golden Retriever enjoys playing with friends. I keep my boarding groups under 2 dogs so I can give each dog individual attention and maintain a calm environment.
“Michelle was awesome for our giant furball / who otherwise is nervous of her own shadow (Jake, not Michelle)….we will definitely be booking again, as it was great comfort knowing Jake was in a “dog home” versus a kennel. Michelle watches several other very friendly dogs and Jake buddied up right away with all of them! The fenced in backyard was a great peace of mind as well! Thanks!”

“Samantha was wonderful! So friendly, communicative, and clearly took great care of our dog, Finn. He’s 11 and can be a little finicky when staying somewhere new, and she even made him fresh eggs (his favorite breakfast topper) to encourage him to eat. She sent lots of photos, kept us updated, and made sure he got plenty of exercise and attention. We’re so happy to have found a great local sitter and hope she can watch him again!”

“Robert was amazing! Made us feel very comfortable when dropping Dino off and continued to stay in close contact while we were away. Received multiple photos and videos + daily updates. Dino was safe and engaged every day!! We can tell he misses Robert already which is a great sign. Will definitely book with Robert again!!”

“Simply amazing, she treated my dog like her very own, great backyard with fence for dogs to run and play. She took my dog for many walks, we received frequent picture updates. Overall, highly recommend Karin and her husband”

“Kathleen was great - Dewey is an anxious pup, but she was able to get him to settle down and be comfortable quickly! She was very communicative and kept us well informed as to how he was doing. We will definitely be using her again!”

“We were nervous for our first time having a dog sitter for our pup, but Christina was great! Very communicative and our little guy was well taken care of. I’d recommend her for sure.”

“Tolley and Tom took great care of Repeat. The family treated Repeat as if he was one of their own dogs. They sent lots of pictures and updates to help ease our mind. We would definitely use them again.”

“David and his family took such great care of our two babies, Barfi and Omi. He treated them like their own and made sure to send lots of pictures and updates throughout the day! We will definitely be keeping David and his family in mind for the next time we are out of town!”

“We had such a great experience boarding our dog with Shannon and Robert. They made it easy from the start! You can tell that this is a family of dog-lovers, which brings so much comfort when leaving your baby behind. They updated us daily with pictures and tidbits on how the stay was going. Their home is calm, clean, and comfortable. We're so grateful for the love and care they gave our boy while we were away. We look forward to becoming a repeat customer & I will recommend Shannon and Robert to any and all friends in the future!”

“From the moment I met Barbara I knew my pet would be safe with her. Skai took to her right away. Her home was peaceful and welcoming. Barbara kept me updated- assuring me our dog was doing well. I will definitely use her services again.”

“I have used Lynn multiple times and she is absolutely excellent. Reliable, caring, and completely trustworthy. I have total peace of mind when my dog is with her. Also great communication. Lynn is the best and I highly recommend her.”

“Trish is the kindest sitter and we feel fully confident when leaving our Winnie with her while on vacation. We will continue to book Trish whenever we get away. Thanks so much for watching and caring for Winnie!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bay Village
If you’re looking for someone to treat your dog as nice (if not better) than you do, well Debbra is that person! She treated Biscuit like he was her own dog. She kept him on his same schedule and provided him with the long daily walks he is used to. I could tell from the pictures she provided that Biscuit was comfortable and relaxed. He was so happy when I picked him up. Debbra is truly a dog lover and I will be using her services again!

We had such a great experience with our dog sitter! Eric & Polly watched Enzo and Bentley for three nights and took amazing care of them. They sent us picture updates every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear the boys were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. It’s not always easy leaving your dogs with someone, but knowing they were in good hands made our trip so much more relaxing. We would absolutely recommend them and will definitely use them again! 🐾

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
