I am a night shift nurse so my schedule varies each week. The good news is that im not bound to a normal Monday-Friday schedule so I am able to be a little more flexible on times of the day that I can be available!

I will love and care for your pet like they are my own. I’ve had a lifetime of experience with behaviorally complex pets and there have been many times my mom and I have had to get creative to make sure we are caring for animals in a way that makes them as comfortable as possible. I’ll do anything or follow any routine to make sure your pet feels safe and secure.

I would love to know your animal’s normal energy level, their favorite toys, normal commands they follow, things I can do that they love, and things that they are sensitive to so I can avoid any triggers. I would also love to know if they are prone to bolting out the door if given the opportunity (my mom’s cat has been chased through the woods by every single member of our family over the years, we’ve become pretty fast on our feet😄).
A typical day
I’m more than happy to participate in whatever activities your dog would do on a normal day at home! I’m a distance runner so I would love to run or play fetch with higher energy dogs. But for more chill animals, I’m happy to play with toys, relax around the house, and give them plenty of love and attention.

I’m a registered nurse who grew up fostering and adopting behaviorally complex dogs and cats with my mom who still fosters to this day! I also grew up petsitting for neighbors, family and friends. As an adult I’ve become much more of a cat person, but I still spend a lot of time with family member’s dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, and more. I have two cats of my own, one of one of which requires daily oral and inhaled medication. There’s been a little bit of a learning curve giving animals meds compared to humans but I will say I’ve become somewhat of an expert :)

Emilee was great with our 3 cats, two of which are pretty shy and wary of strangers. She seemed to be very patient with them and it showed in the many photos she sent us during her drop in visits. Emilee had no issues giving our two cats their medications while we were gone and didn’t seemed fazed at all when we told her she might need to be patient and follow one of our cats around until she tires out since she doesn’t like getting her medication. Emilee’s care for animals showed in her communication and photos during her drop ins and we will definitely book with her again.
I wish I could leave more than 5 stars because Emilee deserves it. She was so responsive to any questions we had, sent great pictures and went above and beyond anything we asked. We will 100% ask Emilee to watch our “girls” again. I can’t recommend her highly enough!!
Emilee was so great with our dog, Lou! She was so patient with her when she was anxious during their first meeting. She gave Lou time to warm up without being too forward. She was very detailed in her messages to me and took the sweetest pictures! I have already booked Emilee for our pup again!
