About: I've been an animal person my entire life. I grew up helping pet-sit the neighborhood dogs, and my family loved a rescue German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix from the time I was 10 (she was 2) until she was 15 - she watched us grow up and even visited my college house. As an adult, my heart belonged to January, a border collie/American Staffordshire terrier mix I brought home in my late 20s after seeing her story on the news. She was an energetic, clever puppy who taught me patience, consistency, and the value of positive training. We had 13 wonderful years together before she passed in November 2025. Losing January left a hole in my routine and my heart, and I’m not quite ready to adopt again - but I’ve found real joy and healing in caring for other people's pets. I've recently house-sat and hosted dogs, cats, and birds for friends and family, from puppies and kittens to seniors on medications with special needs. That experience, plus a gentle nudge from the people who suggested Rover, is what brings me here. I've used the same trusted vet since I was a kid and know the ropes - comfortable administering medication, contacting the vet, or getting emergency care if needed. Your pet will be loved, watched closely, and cared for like one of my own. I work a hybrid schedule: two days at home (typically Monday and Friday) and three 8-hour days in an Avon Lake office (Tuesday-Thursday). My schedule is flexible and easy to swap these days. I can use my noon lunch break for midday walks, potty breaks, and playtime if you're within 5-10 miles of my location. I’m available in the evenings after work for walks, feeding & visits. I'm also happy to water plants, bring in mail, and handle other small house-sitting tasks. I live in a cozy Lakewood duplex on the first floor with a front yard and porch that dogs (including my former dog and the neighbors’ dogs) love to lounge on. I have a yard stake leash available for safe outdoor time. I already have bowls, beds, leashes, and other supplies, so your pup won't need to travel with a pile of gear if you don’t want to. I can board up to two dogs at a time -any size, any friendly mix - but I don't board cats in my home (happy to care for them at yours).

I've owned dogs of all breeds and sizes over the years, and currently share my home with my five-year-old Boxer, Olly. Olly has multiple allergies and follows a strict homemade diet, so I understand the importance of sticking to special diets, medication schedules, and individualized care. I know every pet has unique needs, and I'm happy to provide the extra patience and attention they deserve. Rain, snow, or sunshine, walks and playtime are always part of our routine! I've also discovered that I'm quite the cat lover. We adopted our cat, Dodger, a little over a year ago, and he has completely stolen our hearts. Whether your cat loves to play or prefers a quiet companion, I'm happy to give them the care and affection they need while you're away. In addition to dogs and cats, I'm comfortable caring for reptiles and small mammals too—just please, no tarantulas! I treat every pet as if they were my own because I know they're family. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week. Whether you need regular walks, drop-in visits, or care while you're away, I'll do my best to accommodate your schedule. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I make communication a priority. I'll send updates, photos, and plenty of tail-wagging (or purring!) moments so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I'll follow your instructions carefully, whether that means feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, walks, playtime, or plenty of belly rubs. I understand that every pet has their own personality and preferences. I'll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own. I'll keep things clean and tidy, lock doors and make sure your pet is safe before I leave.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for over 30+ years. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes and personalities, as well as ages from puppies to seniors. From energetic walks to cozy snuggles, I believe in nurturing, exercising, loving, and maintaining routines for dogs. I am sensitive to the cues for playtime, cuddles, and when a dog needs quiet time. My speciality is being present to the daily needs of family pets, which can include dosing medicine, bath time, ear cleaning, and training routines. I Pet care naturally fits into my daily and weekly routine because I am building my schedule around it. As a part-time pet sitter and walker, I am fortunate to have the flexibility to give each pet my full attention for morning, midday, and evening walks, playtime, feedings and care. I do not have a fenced yard and would require a leash for your pet at my home. Please provide a leash for let-outs and walks, a bed, and a crate in case of your pet needs a secure environment. Pets are not allowed on furniture or human beds.

About: My family has had multiple dogs at all times since I was a kid. I currently have a miniature schnauzer that is 1 1/2 years old. She loves going on walks and meeting other dogs!! I am currently working from home, I often take my moms dogs to the park and for walks with us so the more the merrier! dogs can have their run of the house and backyard, i live close to a park to take them to run around or just long walks if preferred

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a long time as they have always been a family pet for me, as we typically had 4 at time. I’ve also pet sat for neighbors and friends. I am currently not working so I have open availability. I have no pets at home so I am able to stay and pet sit. I have a car so can take dogs on rides and take them to parks and out for walks. I will make sure they are comfortable.

About: I've been a loving pet owner all my life. My 2 dogs are spoiled and LOVE the company of other dogs. Your pet's stay with us will be lots of fun and they might not want to leave! My house is your dog's house! Privately tucked away and far removed from any busy streets, my house is the perfect home away from home for your fur babies. Your pups will enjoy over a half acre of open, grassy space surrounded by beautiful trees to run, play, and safely explore in, and a cozy, warm home where they can snuggle up and rest after a full day of fun. I will keep in touch with you and send pics as often as you'd like, and you will be comforted to know that your dog is receiving the best care possible. I am TOTALLY flexible with your needs! I work part time and mostly from home so I'm rarely away for more than three or 4 hours at a time. My pups (and yours) will get loving attention all through the day! Your pet will get the highest love care possible. Your pet will have full run of my house including couches and beds. I welcome all visiting pups to join me and Rudy for our evening sleep if they care to join us. Emma prefers the ottoman at the end of my bed.

About: I grew up with two small dogs, three large dogs, and have one sweet pup of my own. I am comfortable with doggos from puppies to senior and strive to give them the unconditional love and attention that their family members provide. I have worked with dogs that are crate trained and those that are not. I am adaptable, active and enjoy long walks, playing, fetch, and dog parks for social interaction. I strive to provide owners with peace of mind and give their four-legged family members a good time. I am usually home and available on the weekends, as I am in the office during the week. I can do evening drop-ins as well. I live close to a dog park and walking trail to give your furry friend plenty of exercise as needed. I will ensure the dog is cared for and the home is in the same, if not better, condition from when owner left.

About: I take care of my two dogs named Ivy and Cooper I rescued them both when they were puppies Cooper is now 12 and Ivy is now 4. I walk them once a day. I cuddle and play with them a lot. I’m currently not working so my schedule is very flexible right now to watch and take the dogs for a walk five days a week. I do not have a fenced yard but I am always outside when my dogs are outside I crate my older dog at night I let them out first thing in the morning and feed them first thing and fill up their water bowls.
