About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and my 6-year-old goldendoodle, Butters, keeps me smiling every day. Whether it's playtime, belly rubs, or just hanging out, dogs bring me so much joy—and I’d love to share that joy with your furry friend! While dogs are my passion, I also enjoy a good cat cuddle, so if you’ve got feline friends, I’m happy to care for them too. And let’s not forget the needs of our plant pets - I will water while you are away if you ask. Based in Avon Lake, I’m available on weekends and ready to provide your pet with all the love and attention they deserve while you’re away. Let me be your pup’s new best friend—contact me today! 🐶✨ As a single mom working full-time at the local hospital Monday through Friday, I dedicate my weekends to dog sitting when my kids are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or snuggles, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own. I also enjoy a good cat cuddle, so if you’ve got feline friends, they’ll get plenty of love too! Located in Avon Lake, I’m available for weekend dog sitting and would love to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Let me know how I can help—your pup’s tail will be wagging in no time! 🐕❤ Sorry, I don’t offer sitting in my home—Butters, my awesome goldendoodle, rules the roost! I’m happy to care for your pup in their own space.
“Taylor was great with my dogs and provided plenty of updates and photos so I knew they were in good hands while I was away! I would love to have her dogsit in the future - 100% recommend!!”

“Joy watched my dog in my home for two weeks and did an amazing job. She sent daily updates and pictures that really put me at ease. She took excellent care of my dog and couldn't be nicer. I would recommend her to others and would hire her again.”

About: I take care of my two dogs named Ivy and Cooper I rescued them both when they were puppies Cooper is now 12 and Ivy is now 4. I walk them once a day. I cuddle and play with them a lot. I’m currently not working so my schedule is very flexible right now to watch and take the dogs for a walk five days a week. I do not have a fenced yard but I am always outside when my dogs are outside I crate my older dog at night I let them out first thing in the morning and feed them first thing and fill up their water bowls.
“I'm so happy with Maissa's service. Normally, when I'm away, I am nervous about how my animals will be be when I get back, but with Marissa transitions go so smooth and I know all will be well. I have a pot belly pig and she knows how to deal with his stubbornness and she's not afraid of him. They have really bonded. I highly recommend her.”

“Brittany was amazing! Our dog has separation anxiety, and she took amazing care of him - he usually doesn't do well without us but was clearly comfortable with Brittany and her family! We really appreciate the frequent updates and pictures, and Brittany went out of her way to drop him back off at our place. We'll definitely be using her services again!”

About: I have over 13 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs through helping raise and care for my family’s teacup Yorkie, Ginger, since we first got her. In addition, I have frequently dog sat for friends while they were away and spent two years helping care for and train my roommate’s Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix, Aspen. Through these experiences, I have become comfortable with daily care routines, exercise, basic training, and providing attentive, reliable care for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I recently graduated college and am currently searching for my first full-time role, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and overnight care, and I enjoy building routines that help pets feel comfortable and cared for. I regularly take my dog on walks, spend time playing with her, and making sure she is well fed. I am a huge dog lover, so I’ll take any opportunity I get to hangout with one!
“Sabrina watched my dog Rosco for a long weekend and did a phenomenal job. She sent many pictures and videos of our dog. I felt completely comfortable leaving Rosco in her care. I would highly recommend her.”

“Maddie was amazing!! She was so friendly, flexible, and loving toward my dog, Finley. I’m usually very anxious about leaving Finley with someone new, but Maddie completely reassured me - she checked in often and sent photos as requested without any hesitation.😊 I could tell Finley was in great hands and well cared for. I will definitely be booking with her again! Thank you, Maddie! 🐾”

“Emma went above and beyond to take good care of my pets while we were away for a week. The house was clean and the dogs were happy. She sent plenty of photo updates too! I will for sure use her in the future as the need arises.”

About: I have owned, cared for and loved three dogs over the last 20+ years. I currently have a springer spaniel. My one dog lived with diabetes for two years when she was a senior. My springer has lots of dog friends and we travel with her. I walk 25,000 steps a day and would enjoy taking your dog with me. I am a true Ohioan and don't let the weather keep me from being outside. I have dog friends in my neighborhood because I genuinely love dogs. I am a retired teacher. I have my dog to take care of and the rest of my day is flexible. My wife is a teacher so I would like to keep similar hours 6 am to 5 pm. I would follow directions given to me by the owner and care for their dog with the same love, carefulness and responsibleness that I do for mine. I think my 35 years teaching middle school students helps me understand professionalism in any caregiver situation.
“Thank you so much for taking great care of all of our animals and for the great resource on Beagles since it’s definitely a first for us 😂. We can totally tell they all enjoyed you being there too, even Misty 🤣.”

“Victoria was fantastic helping us watch our elderly black lab while we were on a long vacation. She was communicative and sent lots of updates and photos. She was even able to help us administer a few daily medications. We would recommend her.”

“August was wonderful with my fur baby and my home. It was so much easier to just leave and go on vacation instead of packing my dog up with all her stuff and trying to pick her up. I think it was less stressful for both of us. I definitely will be using August in the future.”

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my professional experience as an animal keeper, where attention to detail, behavior observation, and quality care are essential every day. I’ve owned and cared for dogs throughout my life and genuinely enjoy being around them, whether at dog parks, beaches, or dog-friendly spaces. Even without a dog of my own currently, I stay actively connected to dogs and understand the exercise, enrichment, patience, and companionship they need to thrive. I currently work full time as a professional animal keeper, but I’m excited to spend my free time caring for even more animals. I’m available for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks outside of my work hours, and I bring the same level of attentiveness, reliability, and compassion to pets that I do in my professional animal care career. I understand the importance of trust, responsibility, and attention to detail when caring for animals in someone else’s home. I am reliable, respectful of clients’ spaces, and committed to providing attentive monitoring, consistent care, and peace of mind while pets are in my care. I currently care for two cats, a lizard, and a boa, which has given me firsthand experience with the unique needs, behaviors, and routines of a variety of animals. Caring for such different species has strengthened my understanding that every pet is an individual and deserves personalized, attentive care tailored to their specific personality and needs.
About: I’ve had two dogs of my own since I was four years old. I helped train my second dog when I was 10 years old. I’ve looked after my neighbors dogs while they are away and I have been on Wag! For a year watching people’s dogs as well. I’ll not only make sure your pets are okay while I’m gone, but I’ll go the extra step and make sure they are loved and cared and play with them. I’m currently nannying for the summer from about 8:30-5:30 Tuesdays-Fridays. I’m usually free on the weekends while I’m home for the summer and can always stop by before work and after. At my own home I make sure my dogs are walked at least 2-3 times a day. I keep food off the counter so that the big guy doesn’t reach up and grab it. In your home I can do whatever you feel is necessary to make sure your pet is safe and okay.
About: Growing up I had a sweet little fur baby named Bruno. He was a pug and my whole life. My family and I loved him so much after rescuing him he lived to be almost 16 years of age! Since then, I spent many weekends dog or cat sitting as well as working at a doggy daycare, called Paws for a brief period of time where I was able to hone in my skills. Daily/weekly pet care comes from observing the comfort and behaviors of each pet. There are a big dog park just around the corner of my apartment as well as a hiking route I love to take dogs to run around with. It's a perfect place to go for a few hours so that your fur babys can have the most fun! Safety and trust are the most important part of having an animal in my home. I want to make sure your fur baby is given everything they need so they can enjoy their time with me. Animals lives are short, and they deserve the best with the time they have.
