“Michelle was a fantastic host for our dog. Our pup is an 80lb, 1.5yr old lab, with tons of energy, and Michelle handled her so well. Our dog had such a great time, got to play with other dogs, and got so much attention during her 10 day stay. Michelle also sent daily updates with photos and videos of our pup. We could not be any more pleased with Michelle’s services. She also offers day care services which we used prior to our stay to see if our dog was a good fit, and she was! I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was very young age. I work from home Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. My cat and dog are best friends, they’re very good boys and always welcoming others. Fenced yard with 0.6 acer backyard, so the dog friend can run and play outside. While your pet is in our care, their safety is our top priority. However, accidents can occur. If your dog becomes injured or injures another animals pr person, We will notify you immediately. Owner is responsible for all veterinary costs and medical decisions. Aggression, biting, or repeated dangerous behavior may result in early pickup.

“Bonnie was great! I really appreciated that she made a special trip to our house to meet us and our kitten, pick up the key and get instructions. As it turned out, I made a scheduling error and booked the first visit before we even left on our trip. We were all surprised when Bonnie walked in and we were still home! It was no problem though, as she cheerfully agreed to come back later in the day! She didn't have to do that, since the error was mine, but she went above and beyond to help us out. I really appreciate her flexibility. While she was sitting, we got regular updates and pictures. Our kitten seemed totally unphased by our absence. I think she had a great time with Bonnie. I am rebooking her for my next trip.”

About: I've been an animal person my entire life. I grew up helping pet-sit the neighborhood dogs, and my family loved a rescue German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix from the time I was 10 (she was 2) until she was 15 - she watched us grow up and even visited my college house. As an adult, my heart belonged to January, a border collie/American Staffordshire terrier mix I brought home in my late 20s after seeing her story on the news. She was an energetic, clever puppy who taught me patience, consistency, and the value of positive training. We had 13 wonderful years together before she passed in November 2025. Losing January left a hole in my routine and my heart, and I’m not quite ready to adopt again - but I’ve found real joy and healing in caring for other people's pets. I've recently house-sat and hosted dogs, cats, and birds for friends and family, from puppies and kittens to seniors on medications with special needs. That experience, plus a gentle nudge from the people who suggested Rover, is what brings me here. I've used the same trusted vet since I was a kid and know the ropes - comfortable administering medication, contacting the vet, or getting emergency care if needed. Your pet will be loved, watched closely, and cared for like one of my own. I work a hybrid schedule: two days at home (typically Monday and Friday) and three 8-hour days in an Avon Lake office (Tuesday-Thursday). My schedule is flexible and easy to swap these days. I can use my noon lunch break for midday walks, potty breaks, and playtime if you're within 5-10 miles of my location. I’m available in the evenings after work for walks, feeding & visits. I'm also happy to water plants, bring in mail, and handle other small house-sitting tasks. I live in a cozy Lakewood duplex on the first floor with a front yard and porch that dogs (including my former dog and the neighbors’ dogs) love to lounge on. I have a yard stake leash available for safe outdoor time. I already have bowls, beds, leashes, and other supplies, so your pup won't need to travel with a pile of gear if you don’t want to. I work as a caregiver on Saturdays and Sundays for 6 hours each day, but otherwise, I can spend the rest of my time with your pup. I make it a priority to get any instructions my clients may have regarding their pup and make sure to follow them. I also make sure that I am always in earshot when in the home with the dog so that if anything happens, I can quickly act.
About: I grew up with two small dogs, three large dogs, and have one sweet pup of my own. I am comfortable with doggos from puppies to senior and strive to give them the unconditional love and attention that their family members provide. I have worked with dogs that are crate trained and those that are not. I am adaptable, active and enjoy long walks, playing, fetch, and dog parks for social interaction. I strive to provide owners with peace of mind and give their four-legged family members a good time. I am usually home and available on the weekends, as I am in the office during the week. I can do evening drop-ins as well. I live close to a dog park and walking trail to give your furry friend plenty of exercise as needed. I will ensure the dog is cared for and the home is in the same, if not better, condition from when owner left.
About: I grew up with all different kids of dogs, from baby pups to rescues from dog shelter or off the street even from bad homes. I loved fostering dog for awhile, I have worked with many of different breeds from aggressive dogs to very sweet shy dogs. I normally do night shifts on Tuesday nights, Friday nights, and every other weekend. when it come to house sitting or boarding your animal I will move my work schedule around to best accommodate what you need. I live in a big town house, I have a huge back yard that is not fenced in but I am able to walk them around in. There is a dog park down the street from me and a park across the street as well. As for inside of my house it is always clean and safe for big or little animals to stay in. I have a beds in my living room for a animal to lay down on as well as a spear bed room that shy animals can hide away in if they wanted. I do not have any animals at my house to worry about interacting with yours. I am a very safe and loving home. If I am pet sitting at your home or just stopping by while you're at work to feed an animal or take it for a walk or outside. I am fine with meeting from the scheduled time you need me to know I am a good person who won't steal lol. I completely understand feeling weird or uncomfortable with strangers in your home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a long time as they have always been a family pet for me, as we typically had 4 at time. I’ve also pet sat for neighbors and friends. I am currently not working so I have open availability. I have no pets at home so I am able to stay and pet sit. I have a car so can take dogs on rides and take them to parks and out for walks. Our dog had such a great time, got to play with other dogs, and got so much attention during her 10 day stay. Michelle also sent daily updates with photos and videos of our pup. About: I have a 5-year-old chocolate Lab boy and a 4-year-old Maine Coon boy. They’re best buddies, super friendly, and always happy to make new friends! I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was very young age. I work from home Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. My cat and dog are best friends, they’re very good boys and always welcoming others. Fenced yard with 0.6 acer backyard, so the dog friend can run and play outside. While your pet is in our care, their safety is our top priority. However, accidents can occur. If your dog becomes injured or injures another animals pr person, We will notify you immediately. Owner is responsible for all veterinary costs and medical decisions. Aggression, biting, or repeated dangerous behavior may result in early pickup.
“Ralph was amazing, he accommodated our girls and treated them as if they were his own. He ensured that they were the only clients he had during their stay to make sure they were comfortable. He sent so many photos and made sure that we knew that were well cared for during their first stay with him. There was no doubt. Our large breed is shy and after our first meet and greet, she warmed up to Ralph so easily and she does that with no one. He has a way with animals that makes them feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend Ralph but I would like to be able to book him in the future 😉”
