About: I have grown up with a dog in my house since I was born. I have taken care of neighbors and friends dogs while they have went on vacation or just out of town for work. Since moving away for college and now graduate school, I am looking for my dog fix since I cannot own one myself We are in the middle of being back to school and that includes me as well. I am currently in graduate school so I will keep my calendar as up to date as I can. If you are looking to book with me but see my availability is different then what you’re looking for, please still send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate to make it work! Since I am not able to host dogs at my current place of residence, this will allow the dog to feel more comfortable with a stranger coming to take care of them while the owners are away for however long. I will adjust to their routine so they hardly notice the owners are gone. They will receive all the belly rubs and love they could ask for until their owner returns home
About: Fur babies have been a part of my life since the beginning. My heart goes out to all of them and love how special each one is! I go for long walks daily, especially on the weekends, so if you have a pet that needs to burn some energy, I have your back! I have experience with almost every animal and mostly grew up with cats and German Shepard or Pitbull breeds. From the smallest dog to the biggest, I love them all. My joy is animals and I have no problem taking a pooch, cat, rabbit, etc...to the park/beach all day. A fur baby and a long walk on the beach?? Come on, what could be better! I am a therapist and am extremely flexible with my hours due to being able to work from home. My flexibility also allows me to step out of work and come back if needed.I j I hope you consider me to take care of your fur baby. :) I have my tail-less kitty at home but am not able to have any other animals in the apartment so unfortunately I will not be able to take your fur babies home with me. Please let me know if your animal has any special needs. I have experience with aggressive/food aggressive pets, pups that pull on the leash, or elderly pets. Just let me know!
“Mariah always does a great job walking Jax! She is very responsible and has great communication and always makes sure Jax is safe and happy. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with their dog or other pets!”

“Madison is very reliable and was able to help out with walking Callie last minute for me. Ever since then, she is my go to dog walker. She takes great care of Callie, communicates well and always makes sure my house is secure when she leaves. I will definitely keep booking her for future walks! Callie says 10/10 recommended!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for multiple friends and friends of friends that recommended me. They trust me and know that their dogs are in good hands. I am a sales rep for a technology company and that leaves me free time that I’d rather spend hanging out with pets and making sure they get the attention they deserve. This is non applicable because I’m not offering overnight services. However, they require me to write 25 words to continue. This will meet the requirements.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life! I grew up with 2 dogs, and my whole family also has dogs that I often take care of for them when they go on trips! The hours I work don’t allow me to have a pet of my own, but I’d love to take care of yours! I’m a pediatric nurse at rainbow babies and children’s hospital, and I work 3 days a week which leaves lots of days to care for your pet! Working 12 shifts doesn’t allow me to have a pet of my own, so I’d love to care for yours! Being a nurse I have a caring and safe nature about me, which caries over into everyday life. I will do everything I can to make your pet feel loved, cared for, and safe while you’re away!
About: Pets give their lives to us, and they deserve the best possible care in return. Living up to this duty of service is the foundation and reward of my pet care philosophy. I am a lifelong animal lover, from cattle and horses to reptiles and fish, I have experience with them all. Growing up in a rural area, we always had multiple pets at home including dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, etc. At my grandparents, I had regular experience with cattle and horses. Once on my own, at 18, I got a cat and then in my late 20s, I got my first dog, Max (pictured). Max lived to be 16 years old, an astonishing age for a pit bull mix. It was my proudest honor to love and support him through his senior years. For now, I have chosen not to get another pet and am focusing my passion for animals on providing care for your beloved babies, and I couldn't be happier about it! It would be my honor to provide loving and safe care for them while you are away. Read more below for details of my experience, my approach to care and what I can provide. I gained so much senior dog experience with Max and am delighted to offer my experience with the following to your baby, including: - Prescription diet and dietary restrictions (home cooked meals at extra cost) - Oral and injected medications, including extended subcutaneous - Physical restriction due to injury or arthritis **Note - I live on the second floor of my home. I can carry dogs up and down the stairs up to 25lbs but no heavier than that** - Ability and willingness to understand complex medical conditions to the extent that it helps with their care - Exercise and stimulation even with limited mobility, including going for wagon rides in place of walks if needed - Monitoring of and familiarity with healthy vital signs In addition, I have experience caring for animals with other special needs including high anxiety and other animal aggression. At this time, I do not sit for more than one family at a time, so I can care for these animals without conflict. See the section on what I want to know ahead of time for details. For the safety of myself and your pets, it's important that I know as much as possible for their care, especially in these special needs situations. At this time, I do not have any commitments outside of my home for more than 2.5-3 hours at a time, so I can be flexible and available for your pet’s needs. I am a yoga teacher but currently only teaching a few classes a week and rarely more than one a day. Other than that, I am focused on my health (nothing that impacts pet care!), so I have some doctor's appointments, etc., but nothing that requires me to be away for more more than 2.5 hours or so. I am not working outside of that, so I am very available to meet your pets' needs and would be honored to share my time and care with them. How I care for an animal depends on each animal's unique needs, but what will always be true is how I approach them conscientiously with kindness and respect. I earn their trust by balancing the right bids for connection at the right time, based on their behavioral cues and by providing consistent boundaries and expectations with love and care. FYI when your pet first arrives (after they have time to relax), I will check and record their vitals (heart rate, breathing rate, and gum condition) so that I am aware of their baseline in case I need to monitor for changes. This was a habit I learned in caring for my senior pup that I realized was really helpful to know in case a concern arises. About my home: - I own and live in my own duplex home in Lakewood and am fortunate to have an extremely large backyard compared to other Lakewood homes (full privacy fence). See pics of the house and yard in my photos. - I live on the second story. If your dog has mobility issues, please take this into consideration. I am able to carry any pet(s) up to 25 lbs up and down the stairs but no larger than that. - I live alone with no pets. I love kids but don't have any at this time. - I have a renter on the first floor. She is an animal lover as well but does not have any dogs, only one indoor cat that does not have access to any shared space. She and I easily coordinate backyard access, and she would be delighted to greet your pet during its stay. - As I cared for my own senior dog, it became necessary to install several secured baby gates around the house for keeping him in and out of certain spaces. I still have these gates in place so that I can do the same for your baby, if needed to support their care. Also, if needed, I have an extra large crate. About the neighborhood: Lakewood is a safe and pet-friendly neighborhood with ample sidewalks. I live about a 3-minute walk from Lake Road, where there are wide sidewalks far from the street and very little traffic. It's really a beautiful place to walk a dog or two. I also live a 4-minute drive from Lakewood's dog park in the Rocky River Reservation. I love to walk pets around the Metropark and adventure in the woods or down by the river. One of my favorite spots is Rocky River Nature Center, which is a 20-minute drive from me through the park but so worth it. Dogs love it there.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally. I love getting to know each pup’s personality—the silly quirks, the bursts of energy, and the quiet cuddle moments. Whether it’s a long walk, a fun game of fetch, or some cozy lap time, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and truly loved. Every tail wag is a little reminder that I’m doing what I was meant to do: giving dogs the care and attention they deserve. I am currently a part-time nursing student and work nights so I am available mornings and ready to give your pets some love, care, and affection! I treat every pet as if they were my own. In their home or mine, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles, and I follow any instructions from the owner regarding feeding, medication, or routines. I also keep the space clean, monitor their behavior and mood, and make sure they always feel happy and secure while I’m caring for them.
“Amazing worked with me on short notice very understanding I was so nervous about my puppy with a stranger but with amber I feel confident that my pups in good hands. She working with her on not pulling which I can already tell is working. she the best! 10/10 recommend”

“Colleen always goes above and beyond for Mowgli! She is sure to be on time and give plenty of pictures and videos. She is so sweet with Mowgli and was so patient with him while he was getting comfortable with her at first. Mowgli is very lucky to have someone like Colleen available on days when I am not able to let him out. It’s so nice to know he is in great hands :)”

About: I have had a pet since I was 5 years old! I addition to caring for my own dogs, I have pet sat for many friends, family and neighbors. My previous family dog had a brain tumor for 3 years and I assisted in administering her 5 daily medications. I love playing with my pets, going for walks and just hanging out with them. I work from home so I have a flexible schedule. I can care for your pet before or after work or during my lunch break! If you need house sitting and have wifi, I can even work from your home while hanging out with your pet. I can come check in on your pet to take them for walks, feed them, play with them or even just keep them company! I will be as happy to see them as they will be to see me.
“Regina is excellent in every way. She is very professional and cares kindly for our young puppy (who can be a handful). Regina has gone out of her way to make sure Clif gets outside for walks and has playtime during the day while we are at work or away for extended periods of time. She has also given us great tips on how to get him more comfortable with crate training and leaving him for hours at a time. We plan to use Regina regularly!”
About: What sets me apart is the way I genuinely care for dogs as individuals—not just as pets, but as family members. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level so they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or shy and needs extra reassurance, I adapt my care to meet their needs. I prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication, and I make sure pet parents feel at ease with regular updates, photos, and messages. I also respect routines—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions—because I know how important familiarity is for a dog’s well-being. My goal isn’t just to “watch” your dog, but to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for the entire time you’re gone. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I do work a full time job, however I plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m used to structuring my day to include walks, feeding times, play, and check-ins, and I prioritize sticking to each pet’s normal routine. I’m reliable, organized, and mindful of timing, so dogs are never rushed or overlooked. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I make sure every pet gets the time, care, and affection they deserve. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I intentionally plan for. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s routine, personality, and needs. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication (if applicable), and any special care requests. In a client’s home, I respect their space and focus on keeping the pet’s routine as normal as possible. I provide companionship, exercise, enrichment, and consistency, while also maintaining the home as instructed. I communicate regularly with updates and photos so pet parents feel confident and at ease.My goal is always to create a stress-free, loving experience where pets feel secure and cared for.
“Brian was right on schedule this morning! He is very knowledgeable when it came to the issues I am having with my pups. He gave me lots of tips and tricks to work on with them. He will be my go to guy in the future!”

Michael is an awesome care provider for my dog Sirius! I highly recommend his services. He communicates clearly, is very consistent, thought and most importantly very kind. Unfortunately we have to move and will no longer be able to have him take care of Sirius. I wish him the best!

Claudia was fantastic. I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my pit bull, Neo, to Claudia for his daily walks, and I couldn't be more impressed with her service. Claudia is not only punctual and reliable, but she also has a natural affinity with dogs that is truly remarkable. From the very first meeting, it was clear that Claudia is easy to communicate with and genuinely cares about the well-being of the pets she looks after. She took the time to understand my dog's specific needs and preferences, ensuring that each walk was tailored to his energy level and temperament. She was also able to get some of his daily training done while on walks. My dog absolutely adors her, which speaks volumes about her ability to connect with animals. Claudia's professionalism and dedication have given me complete peace of mind, knowing that my dog is in capable and loving hands. I highly recommend Claudia to anyone in need of a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker.

We booked a walk with Rachel for our puppy, who is also special needs. Rachel took amazing care of her, comforted our special girl and even took the time to make sure our senior dog got a potty break outside too. We would recommend her services and will be booking with her again in the future!

Arianna was a walker with my dog Flynn for about a year and a half and I am so thankful for her! She was communicative and friendly and always good about sharing what happened on the walk, etc. She took the time to truly know my dog and both he and I were able to rely on her consistently. She stayed with him on an overnight occurrence as well, and I would recommend her to any future pet owner - she’s great and we are sad to be losing her as she is moving!
