About: I noticed I’m always offering to take care of everyone’s pets in my personal life (HUGE animal lover) so I figured it’s time to join Rover. I’ve taken care of other pet owners cats, dogs, and rabbits in the past. I’ve had cats, dogs, and rabbits as pets as well as hamsters, goats, ducks, and fish growing up. I grew up in a small town in Ohio and my grandparents had a farm so I was around farm animals often. I don’t currently have any pets of my own as I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week (nurse) so I would absolutely LOVE to watch and walk your pets whenever I’m not at work! Since I work long hours and am not in a good position to get a pet of my own at this time, I would love nothing more than to share the love with your pet(s). I do have a full time job but I’m available on weekends and evenings after approximately 6:30pm (perfect time for walks!). I also have one off day during the week that rotates. I do not have any pets of my own so your pet would have my full attention (also a plus if your pet does not get along well with other pets).
“Believe it: Emily is a literal gem. She checked in on my cat Anise while I was out of town for almost a week. She communicated regularly and professionally. She’s a joy in person and would be a great addition to your pets extended family!”

“So grateful we met Kristi. She was so wonderful with our kiddos. It’s hard to trust people with your fur babies, but Kristi had such great energy and she was amazing with the rover card putting detailed daily messages and great pictures. I highly recommend her. Our kiddos warmed up to her very quickly and we felt very reassured with the care she provided! Definitely will be using her again in the future!”

About: Hello! My name is Kaitlyn and I am a 4th year veterinary student about to start my job as a veterinarian. I began working with pets 12 years ago at a local rescue where I grew up in Florida. Since then I have had a plethora of experience with all types of animals. I have worked in a shelter, many small animal general practice hospitals, cat cafes, a wildlife rehabilitation center, triage student for the veterinary emergency department at my veterinary school, etc. Throughout the last 12 years in addition to my many volunteer and working experiences, I have also looked after family’s and friends pets when needed. Due to having pets of my own, I provide drop in visits and walks right now. However I am open to discussing any additional visit types on a case by case basis. I currently have a ton of availability while I await starting my full time job and am able to spend a lot of time with your pets 😊 Don’t worry! Once I start my full time job (in July) I would still love to continue providing care to your pets during weekends and after work. Your pets safety and happiness are the utmost importance and I am to create a great relationship with not only your pets but you to create a stress free and enjoyable environment for everyone. Feel free to reach out anytime with questions or comments about your furry friends. I am very quick to respond and would love to chat about how I can help with you and your pets needs!
“Caitlin is responsive and communicative! I know my Millie is in good hands whenever Caitlin can sit for her. Plus she updates with pictures and videos. Thanks for all that you do for Millie!”

“August checked in on Zuki for me and my partner while we were out of town and he did amazing ! He treated Zuki as if she were his own and was very thorough with the check in. August is our new kitty sitter from now on! (:”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats over the course of the last 15 years. I've been relied on to walk, bathe and feed pets of friends and family members. My work is remote and my schedule is flexible. I'm able to take time away to care for pets throughout the day. I can be relied on at any time throughout the week. I have a 12 year old rescue cat who is fed 3 times a day and I frequently dog sit for a friend in which I walk, play and feed throughout the day.
“Erin was great. Timely, great photo updates, and no news to report. Will definitely be reaching out to her again! That was the first time using Rover, and first time leaving my dog for a full weekend without a family member, and all went well!”

“Mitchell was great with my cat! He sent pictures and videos every day during his check-ins. He was quick to respond to messages and easy to work with.”
About: Hello! Nice to meet you, I'm Nick. I offer comprehensive pet care, backed by my lifelong experience growing up with both cats and dogs. I've cared for a variety of breeds, from Great Danes and German Shepherds to miniature poodles and tabby cats. My partner and I currently have two cats of our own, Calcifer and Ponyo, whom we’ve lovingly cared for over the past seven years. I’m dedicated to providing attentive and personalized care for every pet I look after. Some of my favorite hobbies include trying out the local coffee shops, traveling, and catching a show with friends. I currently work fully remote, so I tend to set my own schedule making it very flexible to give your pet the attention they need. I am always attentive and mindful to any animal in my care. It is important to me that your pet is getting the attention they deserve while in my care.

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, and small animals. I’ve had pets my entire life and currently have two cats of my own. Friends, family, and neighbors regularly trust me for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including puppies and kittens, senior pets, and animals with medical needs. I have experience administering oral medications and monitoring chronic conditions. As an incoming medical student, I’m highly detail-oriented, responsible, and attentive to changes in behavior or health. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter working with feral cats to help socialize them for adoption. This experience strengthened my patience, confidence, and ability to read animal body language — especially with shy, anxious, or high-energy pets. In addition to cats and dogs, I’m comfortable caring for bunnies, turtles, and other small animals. I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions to ensure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. You can expect consistent communication, photo updates, and dependable care every time. I work full-time from 8 AM to 4 PM on weekdays and am an incoming medical student. I’m available for morning visits before work, evening visits after work, and flexible weekend scheduling. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I prioritize reliability to ensure your pets are well cared for. Whether I’m caring for cats or dogs, I prioritize safety and routine. I follow feeding instructions carefully, refresh water, ensure doors and gates are secure, and provide enrichment tailored to your pet’s needs. I treat every home with respect and always communicate clearly with updates and photos. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities.
“Joyce is so amazing! Our shy dog needs time to warm up to new people. Joyce has been so patient and kind and given our pup all the space and time she needs! We are so happy to have her care for our Nova!”

“Leslie took very good care of my two kitties for a week, dropping in twice daily to feed and interact a bit with them while I was gone. She sent pics daily too, as well as brining in the mail and even going the extra mile to do a bit of watering on the back patio per my request. I would highly recommend Leslie!”

“Amber is my go-to sitter to watch my 6 month old puppy! She is such a great communicator and so sweet. She really has a knack with dogs — would highly recommend her! Bonus - she takes the cutest pictures of your pet!”

“Absolutely great! Helped us out on short notice, went with the flow for our senior dogs extra needs, and took great care of our boys! Thank you, we will be returning clients.”

About: All dogs are the best dogs. I have had multiple dogs from big to small. I've taken them out or watched them in a home as if they were my own. I am willing to even take dogs out of their home to parks or beaches to enjoy a change of venue. The pets I watch will be welcomed in my home with open arms to my other family members as well as my own dogs. It would be amazing to be able to earn money taking care of my favorite animals. I love being able to hang out with the furry pets which will make this summer fun as well as give me more opportunity to pay for my college tuition. I hope to meet some cute dogs soon!!

Rocky River cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kristi has become my permanent go-to sitter. She is dependable and has good intuition. She was concerned when my senior cat didn't seem quite himself and alerted me right away. She offered to do a bonus visit the following morning just to check on him, and I was glad she was able to do so. In the end, he was fine - just a quirky senior cat -- and I could enjoy the rest of my trip without worrying.

Elizabeth was amazing!!! This was a last minute request and she couldn't have been more accomodating and easy to work with. You can tell how much she cares as her updates were always thorough. So happy to have found her, she'll be our go-to sitter moving forward!

Arissa did a fantastic job caring for our senior cat, who requires medical injections. She is a great communicator, detail-oriented and pleasant to work with. She is a self-starter and I was able to relax while we were gone because she did such a good job. Highly recommend!

Taylor visited my cats twice a day for the last week. I wasn't sure she would even see them as they tend to hide from unfamiliar people. On her first visit, she sent pictures of both cats relaxing next to her. It was an amazing feeling and my vacation so much more fun because I knew my babies were in good hands, Thank you Taylor, My cats hope to see you again.

Candice took great care of our kitties while we were away on vacation! She was great with communication and did all requested care tasks while also bringing in packages and cleaning up after messes made by our mischievous cat. Both of our cats seemed to warm up to her immediately, even our more timid cat that typically hides from all humans that aren’t us. We will definitely look to book Candice again for future drop in visits.
