About: I started fostering dogs in grad school, where I was an active member of the local APL and formed an advocacy group to create and sustain the local dog park (an abandoned baseball field that we turned into a puppy paradise). On my foster journey, I quickly became the cliche and officially adopted my dog of 14 years, Rufio, after only a few hours. I found Ruf--a Rottweiler/shepherd mix--wandering down by the river, and we were best buds by dinnertime. Over the years, I continued to foster dogs and Ruf and I loved sharing our home with a revolving cast of characters. Sadly, Rufio passed away this past year, but the love is still there, and my partner, Hannah, and I are thrilled to fill our days with doggos. After 13 years in the corporate world--during which I became one of the youngest executives at a local Fortune 500 company, leading three teams totaling over 40 employees--I've decided to pivot back to my passions. I've never been happier than when I spent my days fostering dogs, so pet care has my full attention! I have a fenced in yard and I live a hop and a skip from a number of parks, including Lakewood Park, Webb Park, and the Rocky River Reservation (and dog park)! I'm very active, and I love taking pups around town (or simply hanging out, for our elder statesmen).

About: Hello! My name is Kaitlyn and I am a 4th year veterinary student about to start my job as a veterinarian. I began working with pets 12 years ago at a local rescue where I grew up in Florida. Since then I have had a plethora of experience with all types of animals. I have worked in a shelter, many small animal general practice hospitals, cat cafes, a wildlife rehabilitation center, triage student for the veterinary emergency department at my veterinary school, etc. Throughout the last 12 years in addition to my many volunteer and working experiences, I have also looked after family’s and friends pets when needed. Due to having pets of my own, I provide drop in visits and walks right now. However I am open to discussing any additional visit types on a case by case basis. I currently have a ton of availability while I await starting my full time job and am able to spend a lot of time with your pets 😊 Don’t worry! Once I start my full time job (in July) I would still love to continue providing care to your pets during weekends and after work. Your pets safety and happiness are the utmost importance and I am to create a great relationship with not only your pets but you to create a stress free and enjoyable environment for everyone. About: I noticed I’m always offering to take care of everyone’s pets in my personal life (HUGE animal lover) so I figured it’s time to join Rover. I’ve taken care of other pet owners cats, dogs, and rabbits in the past. I’ve had cats, dogs, and rabbits as pets as well as hamsters, goats, ducks, and fish growing up. I grew up in a small town in Ohio and my grandparents had a farm so I was around farm animals often. I don’t currently have any pets of my own as I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week (nurse) so I would absolutely LOVE to watch and walk your pets whenever I’m not at work! Since I work long hours and am not in a good position to get a pet of my own at this time, I would love nothing more than to share the love with your pet(s). I do have a full time job but I’m available on weekends and evenings after approximately 6:30pm (perfect time for walks!). I also have one off day during the week that rotates. I do not have any pets of my own so your pet would have my full attention (also a plus if your pet does not get along well with other pets).

About: I first discovered what it meant to truly love a dog while growing up with my beloved labradoodle, Charley, who was part of my life for 15 years. After he passed, I wanted to continue sharing that love with other dogs, which led me to volunteer as a dog handler and walker at City Dogs. At the shelter, I regularly take dogs on walks, runs, hikes, and special outings, and I’ve also had the opportunity to foster. About: I have grown up with a dog in my house since I was born. I have taken care of neighbors and friends dogs while they have went on vacation or just out of town for work. Since moving away for college and now graduate school, I am looking for my dog fix since I cannot own one myself With the summer starting and vacations coming up I will do my best to be available for your dogs. I do have other responsibilities such as school and work but I am always 100% with my clients if I will be a good fit for the stay/drop or not. If you are looking to book with me but see my availability is different then what you’re looking for, please still send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate to make it work! Since I am not able to host dogs at my current place of residence, this will allow the dog to feel more comfortable with a stranger coming to take care of them while the owners are away for however long. I will adjust to their routine so they hardly notice the owners are gone. They will receive all the belly rubs and love they could ask for until their owner returns home

My partner and I currently have two cats of our own, Calcifer and Ponyo, whom we’ve lovingly cared for over the past seven years. Some of my favorite hobbies include trying out the local coffee shops, traveling, and catching a show with friends. I currently work fully remote, so I tend to set my own schedule making it very flexible to give your pet the attention they need. I am always attentive and mindful to any animal in my care.
