About: My dear friend FLIES me down to Florida to care for her 3 dogs when she goes on vacation - yes, I'm that loving and attentive to the pups! I love, love, love them - big, small, in-between. I grew up with dogs, and have a gentle, kind way with them, and they tend to love me right back, pretty quickly in return! Dogs are so wonderful - they ground you, they help you remember every day what's really important in life... they're joyful, they're soulful and I'll care for and love your furry family member wonderfully in your absence! Please feel free to contact me with any questions and I'll be delighted to tell you more about me any time you'd like to talk! Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule as my other work that I do (marketing) is remote. I'll have lots of time with your pet if you bring me in for home care/pet sitting! I care for pets in their own homes, which is more comfortable for my pet clients. In my home, I have 4 cats of my own and my yard is not fenced in, so I'm happy to care for your buddies right in the environment they're happiest in -- their own house!
About: 👋🏻 Hello, dear pet parents! Leaving your pet is never easy — I know that feeling well. That’s why I’ve built a care experience where your dog or cat gets the same routine, attention, and comfort they’re used to at home. 👤 My name is Maria. I’ve built this as a real service — with structure, clear policies, and consistent standards. I don’t have a dog of my own yet, and pet sitting has become my way of staying close to that daily routine and care in the meantime. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior dogs — my calm, one-on-one format tends to work especially well for older pets and those who need a little extra patience. ✨ What makes my care different? • One family at a time. Your pet gets my full attention, without sharing space with unfamiliar animals; • I’m home most of the day. I work remotely, so your pet has company and a calm environment throughout the day; • Fully insured + real-time GPS tracking during every walk; • A Petcube camera lets me keep an eye on your pet even when I step out — live feed and two-way audio, day or night, for extra peace of mind; • Personalized updates, your way — regular photos and videos, or simple morning & evening check-ins; • Care built around your pet’s routine, learned in advance so the transition feels smooth. 🕐 Daycare & Boarding Hours Daycare typically runs between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with a maximum of 10 hours per booking. Extended pick-up times later in the evening may shift into boarding rates — happy to discuss what works for your schedule. Boarding works differently: it’s booked in full 24-hour cycles starting from your drop-off time. Exact drop-off and pick-up times are always coordinated with you in advance. 🌙 A small neighborhood note: quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Early morning drop-offs and pick-ups are welcome — I just ask that high-energy playtime wait until after quiet hours end. 🔔 A few important details: • I accept only fully house-trained dogs and litter-trained cats; • Pets are fed only the food and treats you provide. If your pet refuses to eat and we need a plan B, I’ll always check with you first; • Before a first stay, I’ll send a short intake form — please have your pet’s vaccination records handy (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella). It’s how I keep my home safe for every guest; • If a pet has had any respiratory symptoms, I wait a full week after they’ve cleared before hosting — the same care I’d want taken before your pet arrives; • I’m not able to accommodate reactive dogs over 40 lbs or pets showing aggression toward people or other animals — I want every walk to feel safe for your pet and for me; • Puppies and pets needing extra support (medication, mobility assistance, lifting onto furniture) are +$10 per night or day, as they need more hands-on time. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family — not just another booking — I’d love to meet them. Feel free to message me with any questions 🐾 🗓 My availability: Monday–Saturday, and occasionally Sundays by request. Since I work remotely, pet care fits naturally into my day. I’m generally flexible — feel free to reach out to discuss your specific schedule. 🦮 My home: I live on the ground floor with a patio opening onto a shared green area, plus easy access to nearby parks. No stairs, easy outdoor access, calm walks tailored to your pet’s pace and needs.
“We’re so grateful for Janet! We had overlapping work travel and she was able to watch Oscar despite our wonky schedules. We are a little concerned, however, that our cat is starting to like Janet better than us because he’s clearly disappointed when we come home! 😂”

“Katherine’s excellent! She takes great care of my kitties, including the medical furbaby that takes an oral and a transdermal medication every day. I’ve rebooked and will continue to rebook Katherine in the future”

“Kylie was FABULOUS! She took on watching my 2 cats for 2 weeks and did an amazing job. She sent pictures, documented everything and was very responsive in every way. I will 100% rebook with her in the future and my cats were so lucky to be watched by her!”

“Kenna is great. Ive used her multiple times and each time has been great. She's on time and dog adores her. She is very considerate about specific things youbtell her about your pup. I'd recommend her to everyone! Thanks kenna”

“It was my first time using this app and I couldn't have asked to find a better person than Jo! She was extremely professional, personable, gave detailed visit summaries as well as photos each time she dropped in. I was so nervous to leave my poofs with someone new but she did wonderful and even got my scaredy cat to come out from under the bed each time. Cannot wait to work with Jo again!”

“I have a very energetic 7 month old bernese moutain dog who loves to jump on you. Sirena was very patient and kind with him but also stern. He needs a little structure.”

“Jessica dropped-in to feed and take care of our cats twice a day while we were gone for 10 days. She did a wonderful job, we’ve just come home and our cats are still happy and healthy, and their litter boxes clean! We had a crazy wind storm while we were gone that blew open a side door and knocked down part of our fence, she even helped to close & re-lock the door and sent a picture of our fence to let us know what had happened. This help showed me she cared about how we felt when we came home from our trip abroad!”

“Erin was great. Timely, great photo updates, and no news to report. Will definitely be reaching out to her again! That was the first time using Rover, and first time leaving my dog for a full weekend without a family member, and all went well!”

About: From 2018-2020 I studied Animal Science: Health and Technology at the Trumbull Career and Technical Center which taught me how to read animal behavior as well as CPR for all animals. Currently I own two dogs Stormy (3 year old pug) and Nova (~1.5 year old rescue lab mix) both of which I have trained on my own. We have had Stormy since 6 weeks old and rescued Nova June 2025. I grew up with all kinds of animals including but not limited to dogs, cats, birds, chinchillas, gerbils, snakes, lizards, and ferrets. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to reach out! Currently I am only working Tuesday mornings from 8:30am to 3:30pm and Friday mornings from 8:30am to 3:30pm. I would love to fill the rest of my time with your furry friend! I’m a strong believer of the more details the better! Please tell me anything and everything there is to know about your furry friend so I am able to provide them with the best care. I have worked with aggressive dogs in the past and wouldn’t mind to now however please let me know in advance!
“I needed someone to let my dogs out in the mornings and Daisy was awesome! She was very consistent and always punctual, plus the dogs really loved her! She was also very patient when my key code system wouldn’t let her in. Overall, I highly recommend Daisy and will definitely hire her again in the future:)”
About: I’ve had three dogs so far and also currently have a cat and absolutely love caring for them!! I have also done pet sitting for the past 5 years!! I am a manager at my current job and am able to make my own hours, so pet care can fit in any day and at any time! At my home, I have a fenced in backyard for my dog to play and occasionally let my cat out on a harness. I love playing with them during the day and make sure they are always fed and watered.
“Courtney is such a kind soul and you can tell she really loves animals. She was SO good with my dog and captured the perfect pictures to let me know they enjoyed their time together. Would trust her time and time again. Thank you!”

About: I have had many pets since I was a child. I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, bunnies, and fish. I love animals and know how difficult it can be to find a good pet sitter. I have been a sitter for cats and dogs in many different capacities, from walking dogs, to taking care of cats over their owner’s long vacations. I am able to walk any sized dog, play with them, and feed and clean up after them. I am able to feed and clean up after cats, and play with them also. I have the skills it takes to give animals their time to warm up, and understand the signs of illness or distress. I work very part time, so I am available every day of the week with only a few hours away from home per week. I have a pretty open schedule. I work part time in the evenings, and can arrange plenty of time during the week for pet sitting. I have a fenced in yard and 3 well behaved dogs. I also love walking dogs and playing with pets to keep them happy and healthy.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
