About: Hello! My name is Kaitlyn and I am a 4th year veterinary student about to start my job as a veterinarian. I began working with pets 12 years ago at a local rescue where I grew up in Florida. Since then I have had a plethora of experience with all types of animals. I have worked in a shelter, many small animal general practice hospitals, cat cafes, a wildlife rehabilitation center, triage student for the veterinary emergency department at my veterinary school, etc. Throughout the last 12 years in addition to my many volunteer and working experiences, I have also looked after family’s and friends pets when needed. Due to having pets of my own, I provide drop in visits and walks right now. However I am open to discussing any additional visit types on a case by case basis. Anna won over our older, more skittish cat and took extra effort to keep a close eye on his needs. She kept me updated on medical issues, even when there were no symptoms to report (which I really appreciated), adjusted her visit schedule based on the cats’ appetites, and even hunted down one of their supplements when we didn’t realize we had no backup container on hand.
