“Julia was fantastic! She was kind, compassionate, and caring towards my kitties and she followed my instructions perfectly (since I have a cat that needs medication). She helped ease my anxiety, gave me updated pictures daily, and was quick to respond if I had any comments or questions. I will absolutely be using her services in the future!”

“Suzanne went above and beyond to take care of my cat. I am blessed to have had her as a sitter while I was gone! I truly appreciate her care and effort and I would recommend her services to everyone!”

“Tyler was very fast at communicating back to me and very knowledgeable. I could tell my pup had a good time during her drop in, she was all tuckered out. Exactly what I was looking for. Definitely will rebook with him.”

“Erin was great. Timely, great photo updates, and no news to report. Will definitely be reaching out to her again! That was the first time using Rover, and first time leaving my dog for a full weekend without a family member, and all went well!”

“Christina has been awesome spending time to get to know my two dogs, even though one of them is people-phobic. I appreciated her suggestions on ways to try to ensure my little dog takes her medications. She is very caring and enjoyable to work with.”

“Carrie did a great job taking care of our senior dog while we were away. Her calm and caring demeanor was exactly what we hoped for when finding someone to watch our dog Bella who has some separation anxiety. We can’t thank Carrie enough for making us feel at ease and enjoy our time away without worrying about Bella and receiving updates with each visit.”

“My pups love Devon! I also foster and she’s up for taking care of 3 dogs if I need her to. She is easy to communicate with, reliable, and provides great care for my pups. Highly recommend!”

“I was worried about having someone watch my temperamental weiner dog. However, Sharon knew exactly how to handle him! She is very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel so at ease knowing he is in good hands when I’m away for work! She is also very personable and easy to talk to. Thank you Sharon!”

“Maura was wonderful. She was so attentive and sent amazing pictures. She’s reliable and has amazing communication. I will absolutely be using her in the future and I recommend her 100%!”

About: I’ve grown up with a dog all my life & cannot wait until I have a nice yard to adopt one of my own! I am no stranger to walks/jogs, throwing the ball or carrying a bag for when the time comes! I have no professional experience with training but would be open to working on commands upon request! I’m currently working from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can work from anywhere so in-home sitting wouldn’t be an issue. I go on walks everyday and think it would be fun to have a buddy to walk around with me! In clients home services would be followed as directed by the client. Feeding schedule, walking schedule, playing, potty break schedule (or litter scooping) would need to be outlined to ensure your pet is receiving the care they need!
“Sam has walked our dogs several times now when we were going to be away for long days in the mountains. San does an excellent job, always keeps us updated to know how the dogs are, and is flexible and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!”

“What can we say but Alicia is great. She does a great job with our blind dog Gonzo who adores her. She's even learned how to administer insulin now that he's been diagnosed with diabetes. Thank you for caring so well for our pups.”

“Jordan did a great job taking care of our two fussy cats during a very crazy week of winter storms. If you want somebody who really understands how to take of cats, he’s your guy!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for several years and have experience both pet sitting and staying overnight in clients’ homes. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ve cared for pets of different ages and personalities, providing feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention. I treat every pet like my own and always strive to make them feel comfortable and loved. I work during the week and am available before and after work for pet care, walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I’m fully available Friday through Sunday and make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and care. I always do my best to work around each pet’s routine and individual needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pets and your home. I always follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I treat every home with respect, keep owners updated with messages and photos, and make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their family is away.
About: I have a great atmosphere for dogs and cats to hang out and play. When it's not snowing we have a big back yard to play but when it's cold, my dogs and cat love to hang out inside. We are a military family and have traveled around the country with all our animals during our journey. We love to go walking, hiking and taking adventures as a family. When boarding, we don't just watch your pup, they become part of the family. We do two to three walks a day depending on weather. Distance is based on the animal. Shorter legs means less walking, longer legs means more walking faster pace. During walks, we try to work on pulling, barking or jumping to other dogs and try to just have fun. Our kids love to throw the ball and run around with the dogs in our yard! We have experience with diabetic and blind doggies as well. I currently work full time and able to do walks in the evenings during the week and through the days on the weekends. I enjoy the walks and your pups will too. I have a fence in back yard big enough for dogs to run around. My home is in a great neighborhood and nothing to be worried about. Within my home, I will make sure all animals are safe.

“Nanci is JOY. When she came over for our meet and greet, she was so natural with our pup and he warmed up to her instantly. You can sense the care and professional nature of this caregiver. We had a last minute out of town trip and we had complete confidence with Nanci doing check ins with our dog. She is courteous, kind and took such good care of our dog. I highly recommend. Communication was great too.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Olmsted Falls
This was the first time ever that I didn't have a family member or a friend stop in and take care of my six cats while I was out of town. Jordan T. did such a great job. He came every day after work hours and scooped boxes, refilled water in two locations, filled dry food when needed, gave cat treats and gave wet food to six cats! I received pictures every day and had great communication from him. There was one day he wasn't going to be able to come at the same time as the other days due to a personal appointment. He sent me a message and asked if I wanted him to come earlier or a little later than he was normally coming. I appreciated the ask! My 6 cats were very content when I returned home from my week long vacation. I'll definitely use him again. It was great not having to worry about them while I was gone!

We are really thankful to Alicia for taking such great care of our precious boy. She followed the provided instructions really well and it's clear that she is very passionate about animals and her profession, and she's very professional and personable. We would certainly recommend her services to others and would utilize them in our future need as well.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Olmsted Falls. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
