“Carrie is great!! She came for a "meet and greet" so my dog could meet her before her 1st visit. She is great with my dog and am so happy I chose her for recurring visits each week. Very happy with her care!”

About: As an animal lover, I know pets are family—not just animals. I take pride in giving them the same love and attention they get at home. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just extra cuddles, I’m here to make sure your pet feels happy and stress-free while you’re gone. As an elementary teacher, I have a structured schedule that actually works really well for pet care. I’m available before and after school, in the evenings, and on weekends. During breaks and summers, I have even more flexibility, allowing me to provide extended care, walks, and drop-in visits. I treat every pet like they’re my own. I focus on making them feel loved, safe, and comfortable—whether that’s sticking to their usual routine, giving them extra playtime, or just spending quality time with them. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.
“Anna is fantastic in every way! She was always so great at communication and letting us know anything going on with our pup. You can tell she really cares about all the details and loved our dog with all her heart.”

“Erin was great. Timely, great photo updates, and no news to report. Will definitely be reaching out to her again! That was the first time using Rover, and first time leaving my dog for a full weekend without a family member, and all went well!”

“Tyler was very fast at communicating back to me and very knowledgeable. I could tell my pup had a good time during her drop in, she was all tuckered out. Exactly what I was looking for. Definitely will rebook with him.”

“Alicia is amazing with our furbabies! Our dogs absolutely love her. She is affectionate, punctual, and can handle our great dane. We feel confident knowing every time she comes to our house to care for our dogs. Highly recommend!!!”

My normal sitter is out for the week and she introduced me to Michelle and she is a blessing to have watch my baby girl Freya:) Freya has been sick and under the weather and it was so reassuring to have Michelle text me throughout the day and make sure I knew my girl was okay. As a 16 week old puppy and haven’t had a puppy in over a year my heart and I am so worried about her all the time. I couldn’t ask for a better person to be with my fur baby. She is loving and caring outs Freya first and is always there to help her and me. Thank you Michelle for all you do for me and checking in on our princess Freya. I would recommend anyone to use Michelle.”

“Jo was truly AMAZING! I felt so comfortable with the care she provided for my senior cat while we were away on vacation. Jo was great about keeping us informed with detailed messages on how our cat was doing and everything was done as asked. I could honestly tell our cat felt safe and comfortable in Jo 's care. I highly recommend her to anyone to care for your pet .”

About: I’ve had a family dog in my life as long as I can remember. Currently own a well socialized and trained German shepherd. She loves walks and meeting new dog and human friends. Currently working night shift (7p-7a). I am very flexible to check in on and walk dogs during normal business hours. Message me for your daily walking needs. I have a pet of my own who loves to go on walks, well socialized, and is crated when I am not home. I am very active outside of walking/running my dog.
“Tyler was an excellent dog sitter for our two dogs while we were away! He provided exceptionally detailed notes for each visit as well as lots of pictures. It was clear from how quickly our dogs bonded with him that he knew how to decipher their body language and behavior cues and give them what they needed and wanted. One of our dogs usually takes several days to warm up to sitters but she and Tyler became friends very quickly! I highly recommend him, and we will be re-booking with him for future trips.”

About: I have a great atmosphere for dogs and cats to hang out and play. When it's not snowing we have a big back yard to play but when it's cold my dogs and cat love to hang out inside. We are a military family and have traveled around the country with all our animals during our journey. We love to go walking, hiking and taking adventures as a family. When boarding, we don't just watch your pup, they become part of the family. We do two to three walks a day depending on weather. Distance is based on the animal. Shorter legs means less walking, longer legs means more walking faster pace. During walks, we try to work on pulling, barking or jumping to other dogs and try to just have fun. Our kids love to throw the ball and run around with the dogs in our yard! We have experience with diabetic and blind doggies as well. I currently work full time and able to do walks in the evenings during the week and through the days on the weekends. I enjoy the walks and your pups will too. I have a fence in back yard big enough for dogs to run around. My home is in a great neighborhood and nothing to be worried about. Within my home, I will make sure all animals are safe.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Olmsted Falls
I was worried about having someone watch my temperamental weiner dog. However, Sharon knew exactly how to handle him! She is very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel so at ease knowing he is in good hands when I’m away for work! She is also very personable and easy to talk to. Thank you Sharon!

Stars aligned in us finding Nanci when we needed a last-minute sitter for our vacation. Her experience with not only anxious rescue dogs, but specifically hounds, allowed us to leave for our trip knowing Kali would be in the hands of someone who understood her idiosyncrasies. Nanci was timely with each visit, provided updates and photos each day, and even got Kali to go on a daily walk (which is sometimes even a feat for us). We will definitely use Nanci for future pet sitting needs!

Omg I can't say enough about Cassie D. First time we went away for 9 days and left our Great Dane Tess. Cassie was absolutely amazing. We received pictures at every visit. She took such good care of her. We came home to a happy dog. Can't say enough good things about Cassie. Truly amazing

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
