“Julia was fantastic! She was kind, compassionate, and caring towards my kitties and she followed my instructions perfectly (since I have a cat that needs medication). She helped ease my anxiety, gave me updated pictures daily, and was quick to respond if I had any comments or questions. I will absolutely be using her services in the future!”

“Monika took great care of our cat Keke! She was fantastic with communication, extremely kind and even got her kids involved in helping with Keke. We would definitely recommend her - 10/10!!! Thank you, Monika!”

“Thank you Archna for taking such wonderful care of our dog Astro once again! Archna is the best pet sitter you can find and we know Astro will be well taken care of by her.”

“Jo was truly AMAZING! I felt so comfortable with the care she provided for my senior cat while we were away on vacation. Jo was great about keeping us informed with detailed messages on how our cat was doing and everything was done as asked. I could honestly tell our cat felt safe and comfortable in Jo 's care. I highly recommend her to anyone to care for your pet .”

“Erica was amazing! We set up a meet and greet and our cat is very selective of who he immediately goes up to and he wasted no time meeting her. We were able to enjoy our trip and not worry at all if our cat was cared for and well taken care of! Will be using her again! We really appreciated the amount of pictures she sent us.”

About: I’ve had animals all my life! Mostly dogs but I’ve added a cat to my family and my sister has some bunnies. I’m the girl at the party who immediately finds the animal in the house and bonds with it!! I can’t add another pet to my clan but I’d love to spend some time with your sweet pet!! I work from home all week and get off work at noon on Fridays. I cannot take animals to my house but I have no problem traveling. Before taking care of an animal, I like to go to the house and meet the animal with the owners present. Then I can see how they behave at the house and get a run down of the do’s and don’ts
“Jordan is very caring and conscientious pet sitter! He took great care of my two cats, Ernest and Sylvia. My cats are very shy, and wouldn’t come out for visits, but Jordan took the time to check their favorite hiding spots to make sure they were okay. I appreciated the pictures and reports on how much food they ate between visits. I’m so glad my cats were in good care during my vacation, and I would definitely book Jordan again!”

“My pups love Devon! I also foster and she’s up for taking care of 3 dogs if I need her to. She is easy to communicate with, reliable, and provides great care for my pups. Highly recommend!”

“Gracie is amazing! We will definitely be booking her drop-in services again for our 3 dogs. She came over before our trip to meet our pups and get a run down of their routine. Then at each drop-in visit, we got an update and great photos! Gracie is reliable, trustworthy, and there's no doubt she loves dogs! Five stars! Highly recommend!”

About: Hi fellow pet lovers! My love for animals has led me to work in the veterinary field, and I also offer pet sitting as a fun and fulfilling side hobby. With my experience, I’ve learned how to spot signs of distress and can respond quickly if medical attention is needed. I’m also very comfortable giving medications and caring for pets with special needs. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and you can count on them being in safe, loving hands. If you’d like references, I’m happy to provide them. Thanks for considering me! I am located in the beautiful northeastern Ohio area, and can travel further away to the West Side of Cleveland. My day is planned arounf drop-in pet visits. Our home has big land for pets to run around. For kitties i have separate sun room with many play spots, litter box and other necessities.
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I work full time, so evenings during the week work best and my availability is flexible on the weekends. I am more than happy to discuss more! My services will be suited for the clients’ need. I will discuss with you on how to care for pets before the booked appointment. You will know exactly where your pet is at all times.
About: I’ve been a proud cat parent for four years to my sweet rescue kitty Pepe, who I adopted from a shelter. He’s taught me that every cat has their own little personality, quirks, and very strong opinions! I’m experienced with feeding, litter box care, playtime, cuddles (when permitted of course!), and giving cats plenty of love and attention while also respecting their space. I know how hard it can be to leave your fur baby with someone else, so I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and spoiled while you’re away. ❤️ I currently work remotely, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m home throughout the day and can easily make time for feeding, playtime, cuddles, and check-ins. I always follow each pet’s usual routine and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to give them lots of love—or space when they need it!
About: (*Please be a smoke-free home for overnights - unfortunately I get asthmatic and have very bad physical reactions to smoke*) I've cared for my sister's dog while she is on vacation, and have several years caring for animals. Part-time, I care for 2 Jack Russell's and a Shorkie - the owners would be happy to recommend my services. I own a cat Allie, and she is treated like a queen, as should be any animal I would be caring for. Animals deserve the greatest love, attention and affection, and I consider them such a high priority. I have a semi flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to devote to the care of your fur babies, in your home, and while you are away. In the Meet & Greet, I will listen very intently for your animal (s) needs, and take detailed instruction on leash requirements, procedures, special requests, etc. Thank you, Nicole (Nicki) I am self-employed and therefore, flexible. I do watch my 3 doggies from 10:30-2:30 Monday through Friday, but otherwise have roughly 10 hours of drafting plans for an Architect. Those hours are also, quite flexible. I can accommodate your needs for overnight stays, medicines, play. While I prefer a fenced yard, I can accommodate on a leash if we are not going too far.

“Emma did such a great job dropping in on my cat Reggie. She kept me informed everyday and sent lots of pictures and updates. So happy to have found her! Thanks Emma can’t wait to book you again!”

About: From young pups to aging/declining dogs, I have cared for their specific needs. I have also taken care of friendly cats as well as scaredy cats. My personality seems to make animals feel safe and loved. I work part time for The Cleveland Metroparks. I believe health & fitness is good for us and for our fur babies! I can help. I am flexible and can follow the routine you provide for your pet. I enjoy being friendly to all animals and truly care for them.
“Emily is so caring and reliable. Completely took away all stress and worry for someone to take care of our fur nugget! She treats and cares for our boy like her own!! Highly recommend to everyone”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Strongsville
We had a fantastic experience with Kelly! She connected with our dog immediately, and it was so reassuring to see how comfortable our pup was with her right away. Kelly is incredibly professional, always on time, and has a calm, relaxed demeanor that puts both pets and owners at ease. Beyond just watching our dog, she went the extra mile by offering helpful, actionable suggestions on how to handle our dog's pulling during walks, and she even recommended some great, durable toys that are perfect for our "super chewer." We are so happy to have found her and will definitely be booking her again!

Gracie is amazing! We will definitely be booking her drop-in services again for our 3 dogs. She came over before our trip to meet our pups and get a run down of their routine. Then at each drop-in visit, we got an update and great photos! Gracie is reliable, trustworthy, and there's no doubt she loves dogs! Five stars! Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
