About: Hi! I’m Robert. I’ve had animals all my life (dogs, cats, fish, lizards, hermit crabs, raised praying mantids and butterflies). I trap and spay/neuter feral cats (TNR), feed birds, planted a pollinator garden in my yard…love nature and appreciate the relationship between humans and animals. My small dog Tyson is 11 or 12 years old and has some special needs (anxiety, hip-problems, blind in one eye, and I am his 3rd owner), so I know patience and compassion when it comes to senior dogs. Two of my cats I’ve had since they were kittens, and the third cat was abandoned by a neighbor and chose me as her new human when they left her. Happy to accommodate your companion’s special needs, and will be honest with you if there is something I don’t feel confident about. I also use two water fountain bowls, so your friend will have access to clean, moving water. I am a bar tender and have been doing that work since 2006, 12 years at my current bar. I work part time there and have a good amount of free-time which I can use to take care of of your dog. I have a large fenced in yard (176 ft of 6ft tall wooden fence) with plenty of shade, water bowls, central air and heating.
