“truly can't say enough wonderful things about Marissa! From the moment she came over before our trip to meet our dogs and learn their routine, we knew they were going to be in great hands. She treated our puppies like they were her own. Every drop-in was right on time, and she always sent updates with pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. What really sets Marissa apart is how she handled an unexpected emergency. During the hottest week of the summer, our air conditioner stopped working with only 24 hours left in our trip. As soon as she noticed the house was getting too warm, she contacted us immediately. She went above and beyond, helping us troubleshoot the issue from a distance and refusing to leave our dogs alone until she knew they were safe. She even helped get the downstairs temperature back to 76 degrees. When she realized the upstairs was still much too hot for the dogs to be crated overnight, she didn't hesitate to offer to spend the night with them—without us even asking. That level of care, compassion, and dedication is something you simply can't teach. Knowing she was there with our dogs allowed us to relax, even though we were so far from home. She did an amazing job caring for both of our pups—our 150-pound lap dog and our demanding little pitty! They absolutely adored her, and it's obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, caring, communicative, and willing to go above and beyond, Marissa is the one. We will absolutely be using her again, even for short day trips. Thank you, Marissa, for taking such incredible care of our babies. We are beyond grateful!”

“Susan took wonderful care of our Belgian Malinois, Lucy, while we were away. Anyone familiar with the breed knows they require an experienced, attentive, and caring person, and Susan gave us complete confidence that Lucy was in good hands. She kept us updated, made sure Lucy was well cared for, and gave us real peace of mind throughout our trip. Knowing Lucy was safe and happy allowed us to relax and enjoy being away. We couldn’t be happier with the care Susan provided. She is reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pet. Thank you, Susan, for taking such great care of Lucy!”

“Mauren and Josh sent lots of pictures and details and it was clear our dogs enjoyed spending time with them. They did a great job and we will hire them again when we need help! Thanks for working with us!”

“Alicia stepped right in and got immediately comfortable with our fur babies. She accepted a last minute booking and was so helpful with her flexibility and patience with our anxious girl dog. I will book again with Alicia!”

About: I have had dogs in my house my whole life, and for the past few years, I have been dog-sitting for numerous families for long periods of time. I am equipped to walk, let out, feed, administer medications, play, and take care of any other needs your dog may have. I work as a caregiver on Saturdays and Sundays for 6 hours each day, but otherwise, I can spend the rest of my time with your pup. I make it a priority to get any instructions my clients may have regarding their pup and make sure to follow them. I also make sure that I am always in earshot when in the home with the dog so that if anything happens, I can quickly act.
“Brittany was great at communicating with me, especially because my cat is antisocial. I didn’t anticipate Brittany seeing her so she let me know that the food and water were being consumed and she was using the litter box. It made my travels much easier! I’d book with Brittany again.”

I will make sure they are comfortable.
About: I have two dogs of my own that my parents rely on me for to help walk, feed, and play with daily. I have taken my dogs to the vet for their check ups and for illness. I also have learned how to take care of my dog who is almost deaf. I’ve also taken care of the neighbors dogs when have gone on vacation! I work a couple days a week, so i have lots of availability. i’m available pretty much every morning and evening for dog walking/house visits. Weekends vary. I have two healthy, loving dogs who love other dogs company. My dogs have retractable leashes that way they can experience a good walk while also being safe. I’ve used crates when my dogs were puppies to help train them.
About: We had 2-3 dogs for most of my life. I also had cats, lizards, fish, and birds. I understand how our pets are part of our families and I treat all animals that way. I have a flexible schedule so I can build a schedule that works for you and your pets throughout the days whether that's before/after work, during lunch or somewhere in between. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make safety, trust, and comfort my top priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special needs so I can provide consistent care that feels familiar to them. I maintain a clean and secure environment by keeping doors and gates closed, monitoring for potential hazards, and following any house rules provided.
“I was very happy with the services Tiffany provided watching our cats while we were out of town. One of our cats went into hiding and she went above and beyond trying to find her her. She reported in every day with pictures and stayed in touch with me throughout our time away. I'll definitely use Tiffany again for any future trips out of town.”

About: I currently have 3 dogs of my own (plus one cat) and have had others in my past. Also I worked at a Doggy Daycare/Boarding facility as a shift lead for 2 years. Along with that I have been regularly pet sitting for 5 years. I have marked off certain days due to being a student, however, besides that I have plenty free time to take care of your pets! My own pets range from 8-70lbs and are all vastly different in character. I am willing to work with difficult personalities and bigger animals when needed!
About: I have experience helping with both family and friends - dog sitting and housesitting! I enjoy long walks daily so adding a dog into the mix would be great. I work at a local hospital and have a lot of flexibility due to multiple days off. If you need any additional information about myself don't hesitate to reach out to me. I'm that person that most dogs gravitate towards so you won't go wrong choosing me to take care of them. I work only 3 days a week which leaves me with a lot of flexibility during the week and weekends. I decided I needed something fulfilling and enjoyable on my days off and will have continuous days I can dedicate. I have many years of taking care of close friends and family’s animals, I also have nannied previously for families that also have dogs/cats. I treat everyone’s animals as if they are mine. No one should ever feel unsafe or hesitant about leaving their animals with someone and I aim to erase that fear for the owner(s).
About: I love dogs and cats - they make me happy! And they love me as well! I treat them with love and respect because they deserve it. I work from home and enjoy the company of pets, I enjoy walking them and training them and just being with them on a daily bais I care for pets whether in my home or yours as if they were my very own, I enjoy caring for all pets big or small
“Bailey is so sweet and I am so happy I found her. This was my first time using Bailey and she most definitely met my expectations. She came MUCH earlier than I would have expected for the AM feeding as I usually go to work very early and feed the pets very early and she was indeed VERY early for the AM feeding of the pets. THANK YOU Bailey! I highly recommend her to anybody that is seeking a very reliable/honest person that would be in contact with you if need be which is important to me. I look forward to using Bailey again and appreciate her taking care of my pets. Lastly, I think Rover can be deceiving in part as the name leans toward caring for dogs. Bailey was taking care of my cats and it was perfect.”

I have a full time job and my dog training business but my schedule cam be very flexible and I can usually be available on a shorter notice, so if something comes up in your daily routine and that puppy needs a potty break or you kitty cat needs one more dinner because your flight got delayed, I will do my best to be there for you and your fur babies! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
