“Madelyn had done drop-in visits for our cat Buddy but this was the first time we hired her to do overnight cat and house sitting, She took excellent care of our home and our cat Buddy, a very shy cat rescued from a hoarding situation who experiences significant separation anxiety when we leave. Buddy even came out of hiding to sit near Madelyn and she was even able to engage him in play. We will definitely hire Madelyn again for both drop-in and overnight care.”

“Denise was attentive and gave frequent updates for us. She gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing our cat was in good hands while we were away.”

“Thanks to Paige we never worry about our pups or our home while we’re away. Always attentive and super communicative. Can’t recommend them enough!”

“Candie house sat for me recently so I could travel out of state to help care for a seriously ill family member. Caring for a loved one during a health crisis is of course incredibly stressful, as is the travel involved. But among my top concerns was finding someone to care for my cat Buddy. Buddy lived his first few years in a hoarding situation and was terrified of people - including me - when I brought him home from the shelter 15 months ago. He's made amazing progress since then, and is now a wonderful house cat. But due to his difficult start in life he is still very wary of people and quite anxious when I'm away from home. When I explained his situation to Candie she immediately understood the level of attention he needed, and devised a care plan for him based on her years of experience volunteering at an animal shelter, pet sitting for dogs and cats and other animals with a wide variety of personalities, and caring for her own pets. She also incorporated all the information I supplied about Buddy and his usual daily routine into her plan, and provided timely updates on how he was doing when I was away. As a result of Candie's thoughtful care, Buddy warmed up to her almost immediately. After a day or two he appeared minimally concerned about my absence. And yes, that did hurt my feelings a little bit because I am as bonded with him as he is to me. But much more importantly it gave me great peace of mind during an otherwise very anxious time. Candice also took great care of my house while I was away. I will definitely hire her again.”

About: Dogs are my favorite animals. I really love meeting other people's pets so I often stop people on the side of the road and ask the pet their dog. I've fostered and walked dogs since I was 8 years old. And I've owned a dog since I was 9 years old. His name's Rocco and I'm his favorite in the family ;) I love to volunteer at animal shelters and enjoy taking dogs to give them a fun day out of the shelter. I've taken care of all sorts of different breeds and personalities. I would love to help you out and take care of your pets! As far as other people's pets that I'm taking care of, I'm able to feed them multiple times per day and make sure they have water. I love spoiling dogs so they will get a lot of attention every day. I can take them outside at least every 3 hours, if not more if I'm home the whole day. I'm the one that usually takes care of our dog, Rocco. I love taking him to the baseball field by my house and running around with him. And then I love cuddling with him afterwards. Also, I love to spoil him with treats and teaching him new tricks.

“Jo K. was excellent! She took very good care of our boys. She kept us updated the whole time, letting us know that the dogs were doing well. We would highly recommend her!”

“Michael was great with Benji while staying at the house. Communicated often and shared pics during the stay.”

About: I'm Bree! I enjoy long walks, so a little dog who loves to exercise will be a great match for me! I currently reside in Parma Heights, near Tri-C West. I’ve lived in Parma my whole life. I have a little senior min-pin named Angel. She lives in New York with my family, but will occasionally stay with me from time to time. I also have a Beagle mix named Luke. Both of my dogs are happy little balls of energy. I have many years of experience taking care of small breed dogs who weigh up to 20 lbs. Majority of my clients have been bigger dogs (Golden retrievers, Labradors, & Doodle mixes). I offer boarding in my home, walking, and drop-in services. Owner must have a free parking spot for me when I do drop-in or overnight visits. I very much enjoy cuddling on the couch with your dog. This is the best job ever. I will love your dog like my own! Quiet, comfortable home especially perfect for little dogs who like to cuddle on the couch and take lots of naps. Dogs are fed once in the morning and once at night. I have a fenced in backyard with two friendly fur-babies to keep yours company! We have a dog friendly home in a safe and friendly neighborhood.

“Lisa provided peace of mind while we were away by keeping in consistent touch with us and sending frequent photos. She really was a fabulous caregiver to our girl as well as trustworthy house sitter. We would definitely recommend her services!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Tea provided for our 10 year old dog while we were away (in home dog sitting). It takes a while for our dog to warm up to new people, and Tea was very patient and understanding. Tea was very communicative and provided daily pics of our dog. We highly recommend Tea!”

“Alicia was great! I could tell from the pictures that our pups felt comfortable and at ease with her. When we came home, the dogs and cats all were happy to see us and were calm. I could tell she took excellent care of them because they were all happy and relaxed when we got home(and three of them have anxiety). Our house was clean and everything how we left it. 100% recommend to anyone looking for high quality care! Will definitely call her again for future pet sitting needs.”

“Sierra was the first person we’ve ever booked on Rover and we couldn’t have been happier. About: I’m currently in my final year studying zoology in college, and I truly love all animals with all my heart. I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, and for the past seven years, I’ve been trusted to care for pets belonging to neighbors, family friends, and more. I treat every pet like my own while maintaining a professional and reliable attitude. This summer I am focusing on all things animal love. I will be pet sitting/walking as well as volunteering at farms and the Cleveland zoo! My schedule is pretty open as I will be prioritizing your pets and their needs. As stated before I will treat your pet as my own. I have a huge heart for all pets; dogs, cats, lizards, birds, etc. My family dog is very anxious around other animals so to respect him I will unfortunately not be able to bring other animals into my home. I have stayed at many family friends houses while pet sitting and I’m very respectful of home and pet. My dream job is working with animals and caring for their welfare so I would love for you to consider me as your pet caregiver, I will abide by rules you set and ask specific questions for each pet!

8. Breeana W.
“Breeana was amazing when caring for my dog Brutus. I researched high and low for someone that was attentive and caring and would treat Brutus like he was their own. Breeana did not disappoint. Brutus is a small dog (Chihauhua) and what my husband calls "needy". He expects lots of love and affection. When I received daily pictures of him he was happy, playful, and well-adjusted to her home. I didn't have to worry about him being safe, I saw him enjoying his vacation while I was free to enjoy mine! Breanna has a large fenced yard so I didn't have to worry about him getting out. Her dog Luke is friendly and well-trained. Brutus hasn't been around many dogs, but took to Luke quickly. Definitely bringing Brutus back for my next vacation.”

20. Allyson B.
“I cannot recommend Allyson enough! She has cared for my three furbabies several times over the past few years. Whether it is a quick overnight trip or a week long vacation, as long as I know Ally is taking care of them, I can rest easy and enjoy myself. All three of my babies are quirky, each in a different way. One needs a wide berth and lots of patience to get to go outside, one requires a ton of cuddling and gets jealous of the other two, and the third is a little addled (but we love her!) They have specific feeding instructions as well, needing their food mixed a certain and each fed in separate spots. Ally handles all of that with ease and is always gentle and comforting with them. She has a natural manner with them. In addition, she is always dependable and responsible, great with communication, sending pics of my pooches to help me when I'm away from them. If you are looking for someone to love on your dogs or cats, Ally is the BEST!”
