“As always, Karin did an amazing job taking care of our dog Graycie. From daily pictures to even letting her crash a Thanksgiving family photo, she makes sure Graycie is taken care of and loved. We can’t thank you enough!”

“Bella was having a hard time walking due to her advanced age. Roselie and Kevin took excellent care of her with her special needs. Kevin even gave her a bath because she got stinky from wearing diapers.”

“We have used Marcie multiple times now. We never have to worry with her. She takes wonderful care of our dog and spoils him like he is her own. She is super flexible with time last minute changes. We were gone on our dog’s birthday and she sent us pics of him getting special birthday dog treats! Can’t say enough good things!”

“Robert watched Mia at his house overnight for a few nights. He has a great fenced in backyard, perfect for our pup to run and stretch her legs. Mia came back happy and tired out from her running vacation ? We would definitely use Robert again!”

“More than pleased with my dogs stay- Summer was able to accommodate for me last minute for my dog to board at her house for an ENTIRE WEEK. I could not ask for a better dog sitter; i felt at ease that my boy was in good hands. I was sent pictures and videos of Everest every day and she even asked questions when she was unsure about care instructions; this showed me Summer really cares and is genuinely there to ensure my dog always stayed safe and content at the same time :) She gave my sweet boy toys, treats, and allowed him on her couch and treated him like a KING!! She will be my go to dog sitter going forward.. THANK YOU, SUMMER…Everest was grinning ear to ear during pick up time! FIVE STARS across the board!!!!!!!”

“Sarah and Brendan scooped up our boy Arthur as one of their own and treated him to his own “staycation” — he loved that they had friends for him to play with, the love, the snuggles, and window perches. Thank you both for EVERYTHING you did to take care of my little guy.”

“We were nervous for our first time having a dog sitter for our pup, but Christina was great! Very communicative and our little guy was well taken care of. I’d recommend her for sure.”

“Another fun stay with Lynn 😁. Tobi had a blast with Lynn and the other doggies!! Warm weather finally and was out enjoying the sunshine ☀️, fresh air, fetch, playing with the dogs, etc. She really keeps him entertained and mentally stimulated. Oh and the snuggles he loves 💕 so much! Got to say he was good and well tired when I brought him back home 🤪 🐾😴”

“Stacie and Doug were amazing. My dog has several medications she needs to take throughout the day and she is older. They were wonderful about keeping me updated on her stay with them. It really gave me peace of mind as I was on vacation. I will be booking with them again soon …highly recommend Stacie and Doug.”

“Michelle was awesome for our giant furball / who otherwise is nervous of her own shadow (Jake, not Michelle)….we will definitely be booking again, as it was great comfort knowing Jake was in a “dog home” versus a kennel. Michelle watches several other very friendly dogs and Jake buddied up right away with all of them! The fenced in backyard was a great peace of mind as well! Thanks!”

“Miranda & her husband took great care of our dog while we were gone for 6 days. She sent us updates which were appreciated. Recommend booking with Miranda & will use her again in the future.”

“Excellent service and care of my dog. Tina and Rick gave me multiple photos, videos, and text updates throughout the day. When my dog started displaying signs of distress, Tina went the extra mile and slept on the couch next to him. Even though my dog wasn't on his best behavior, I feel he was well cared for and he even left with a goody bag!”

“Amanda, husband and kids were very sweet with Abhi! They got him a toy and made sure he was very safe! She even sent me sweet pics to ensure he was doing well! Thank you!”

“We have taken our dog to Margaret a few times and would highly recommend! She took our dog for a walk in the park and sent photos during the stay. She has good quick communication. Well worth the cost knowing she is with someone who cares for her the same way we do!”

“Swetha and her family were amazing with Maggie! They were flexible with our drop off and pickup schedule. She sent us several updates with pictures. Maggie made friends and love her stay there. We will 100% be using them for all of our future trips for boarding and doggy day care! 10/10 experience.”

“Ron really cares about the dogs he takes care of. I have never felt better about leaving my dog with anyone. The amount of love and care and attention Bert received is well worth the daily/nightly rate. I thoroughly appreciate him opening his home and devoting so much time taking Bert on hikes. I was nervous about potential behavior issues arising from my dog and his separation anxiety issues but all of my fears were unfounded- Ron, his wife and his two girls- Maggie and Isolde became Bert's second family for the week and I'm sure Bert can't wait to see them all again!”

“Irma was a fantastic cat sitter! We were in a bind when our normal sitter decided to go on vacation last minute. We couldn't find a sitter in our area because of the winter holiday, so we searched along the route of our road trip East and luckily found Irma! Such a gem! She has a cozy space, perfect for shy cats, with plenty of toys, cat trees and hiding spaces for our cat to feel comfortable on his own timeline. Our cat, Gary is a people cat, so needed somebody around, but he also does not like other animals, and Irma only boards one family's cat(s?) at a time. So the situation was perfect for us. The cherry on top is that Irma is a kind, caring person who clearly loves taking care of cats. She sent us daily updates with Gary's activities and was immediately available with any questions we had through the whole process from booking to pickup. When we came up pick up Gary, he was clearly so happy and comfortable. :) We would absolutely recommend Irma for sitting, and will definitely use her again when we head East. Thank you SO much Irma!”

“Erica was amazing! We set up a meet and greet and our cat is very selective of who he immediately goes up to and he wasted no time meeting her. We were able to enjoy our trip and not worry at all if our cat was cared for and well taken care of! Will be using her again! We really appreciated the amount of pictures she sent us.”

“Maura was just great. She’s a lovely person, and she took good care of my two cats. When one of them threw up on my dining table, she took steps immediately to save the white tablecloth from stains. I will definitely book her again in the future.”

“Jessica was absolutely wonderful with Pumpkin! From the very beginning, she was kind, communicative, and attentive. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Pumpkin is usually shy around new people, so it meant a lot to see how comfortable and relaxed he became with her. She was patient, caring, and took the time to make him feel safe and loved. It was clear that she genuinely cared about his well-being and treated him as if he were her own. I am incredibly grateful for the excellent care she provided and would not hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter!”

“Marissa is conscientious, friendly, and responsive. She did a spectacular job stepping in to watch and spoil our Loki when we left for a vacation. She asked thoughtful questions that highlighted how she planned to ensure Loki’s needs were met while we were out and touched base with occasional updates or photos via Rover’s messenger (which we are pleased to confirm works overseas with wifi). So thankful we found this service and Marissa, as I expect to find more reasons to travel without unnecessary worry or guilt.”

“Christina has been awesome spending time to get to know my two dogs, even though one of them is people-phobic. I appreciated her suggestions on ways to try to ensure my little dog takes her medications. She is very caring and enjoyable to work with.”

“Alicia was phenomenal, she provided excellent care for 4 cats, 4 snails, and 2 hermit crabs. I cannot recommend her enough. I was out of state and she handled making a run to put a new battery in the garage door opener. I felt so at ease knowing she was there.”

“Sam has walked our dogs several times now when we were going to be away for long days in the mountains. San does an excellent job, always keeps us updated to know how the dogs are, and is flexible and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!”

“Maggie did an exceptional job with my two dogs . I booked the wrong dates and needed her that same day and she made it happen. Her patience and flexibility is top notch. Dependable and trustworthy! I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Nicole was awesome. She was quick to respond when I was looking for someone to cat/house sit. I had peace of mind while I was away. Would definitely rehire again. Appreciate that she asked questions up front so that everything was covered ahead of time. Thank you Nicole!”

“Tyler was very fast at communicating back to me and very knowledgeable. I could tell my pup had a good time during her drop in, she was all tuckered out. Exactly what I was looking for. Definitely will rebook with him.”

“I can't even tell you how wonderful Tolley and Tom are. Not only did they take care of our crazy pup who had a great time there, they went above and beyond. I will be using them again and highly recommend to anyone who needs these types of services. Thank you Tolley and Tom for the great experience.”

“Sandra was fantastic with our little girl. She always seems to be very happy on pick up. My wife and I had a hectic week that week and had to her to work at different times everyday, but Sandra never questioned drop off or pick up times. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely book again”

“We came into Cleveland for a few days and wanted to bring our mini poodle. We didn't want to leave our dog in a crate at the Airbnb all day while we explored the city, so we decided to send her to Roselie and Kevin. They were both SO nice and accommodating. Our dog was well cared for. I would highly recommend booking your pup a stay with Roselie and Kevin.”

“Thor had a great time with Swetha and her family. He must have played a lot with their dog Tucker, because he was wiped out once he got home. I was very happy Swetha sent me updates and pictures of Thor. Thor will definitely be going back!”

About: I've owned and cared for a lot of different animals since I was 7, ferrets, rats, mice, fish, dogs, cats. I have senior animal care experience, and experience giving animals medication on a schedule. I've had my own dog Pinky since she was a puppy, so I'm sure I can handle any rambunctious pups! I have some cat stuff, even though I don't own a cat. I have a cat tree, scratching posts, cat toys. I'm a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to care for your beloved pets! I'm available for you to drop off/pick up your pets on weekends and weekdays from 8am - 10pm I have a Large fenced in back yard, and plenty of time to take dogs on walks. I have a small 5lbs Chihuahua named Pinky, she likes cats and medium to small dogs (big dogs make her a little nervous, but we are working on that). Pinky is crate trained, so if your fur baby is crate trained I'll have no problem letting them out in the morning, and putting them in at night. If you have a senior animal, or an animal that needs medication, let me know all of the care details, so I can keep them on schedule and keep them comfortable and cared for!
“They are such kind people with a beautiful home and great setup for dogs. Our Lulu was so excited to come back and see them again. It was a great stress reliever for us to have a puppy break on Thanksgiving day so that we could cook, get ready and visit family; our puppy is very high energy! We know she's in wonderful care there - much better than the commercial doggie daycare facilities we've seen. Lulu returns home happy and tired from having such a fun day. And we love the photos and updates they send. We're so thankful for Michael and Regina!”

About: I have had dogs just about my entire adult life. I had a miniature pinscher named Trey for 15 years and he was awesome! I also had a terrier mix named Alice for 12 years whom I loved very much. I have not had a dog for a few years now and miss getting to play/walk with a four-legged friend and figured this would be a fun way to scratch that itch. I have a sunroom that overlooks acres of woods for your pup to stare/bark at and a big front window to guard and let the mailman know who's boss. I work from home and can hang out with your pup all day in my house. I have a big yard they can play in and can take them for frequent walks. I do not have any pets so your pup will get my full attention. I have had dogs for 20+ years of my life and am a huge animal lover!
“Cooper loves Jeffany! We will continue to keep coming back. Jeffany provides consistent updates and pictures throughout the day. Highly recommend!!”

“This was my first time using Rover, and I’m so glad I got to use Maddie. She took such good care of my dog during their time together. She’s a dog mom through and through and knew all of the important questions to ask before their first walk. She actually went above and beyond on a few occasions 💩. Maddie provided thorough feedback after their walks and alerted me to anything I might need to monitor. I trusted her completely with my dog and my home.”

About: PLEASE READ: I have started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and would like to grow it there rather than on Rover. If you are interested in hiring me, please search on Facebook or Google "Rachael's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting" or message me for the links, my website, or email. You can still read much of my current information here. I worked as a professional pet sitter for one of the biggest pet sitting companies in the Cleveland area for 2.5 years and have done pet sitting on my own since then. I have experience caring for many different types of animals of all ages and sizes. I have taken care of them when the owners were on vacation; feeding, giving medicine, walking, etc. I also do dog walking visits during the day for people who are at work or sometimes still home. I have had my own dogs, cats, and other small animals my whole life. I currently have a very part time remote job as a social media coordinator, and have recently started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and also do occasional freelance graphic design and photo editing. I am mainly looking to work in mornings and afternoons on weekdays, but can occasionally do nights and weekends too. I am available for daily dog walking in cities near Olmsted Falls, and can do occasional pet sitting in farther cities. I have professional experience caring for animals and being in client's homes. Before I worked as a pet sitter, I even cleaned houses for 4 years, while people were away, so I can be trusted in people's homes. I always make sure to hold a dog's leash tight, and make sure no pets get out when I come and go through a door. I also always make sure the door is locked when I leave. I will meet you and your pets before services begin to go over everything so I know exactly what to do and make sure the pets get to know me first.

About: I got my first puppy for my 10th birthday. She was entirely my responsibility. I fed, bathed, and trained her. She was a huge white shepherd and the sweetest thing on paws I still miss her. Since then, I’ve had many, many dogs and cats through the years. I’ve been through dog training school several times. I currently have three full-sized Goldendoodles who are reasonably well trained, although they are still way too friendly. I’m retired and available about any day except Sunday afternoons: noon church service. I get my groceries delivered, so I’m here most of the time. I try to walk one of mine every day, weather permitting. I would walk your pup before I walk mine. I also have a fenced-in back yard where the dog run and play. My house is dog friendly, and I’m not overly concerned with dirt. I also have the world’s best vacuum cleaner to deal with it and all the hair. lol I have a large fenced-in back yard with river rock instead of grass, so mud is not a problem. My three friendly Doodles love racing around, especially in the snow, and they would love to add your dog to the fun. At the end of the day, we all go upstairs and sleep in my room with a baby-gate blocking the door, so there is no house roaming overnight. I also have room for crates if that’s what your dog needs to feel comfortable. I have one cat who is comfortable around dogs and knows where to hide if necessary. Please have your dog be familiar with cats or at least won’t attack her if she tries to make friends. I can accommodate special diets and know how to use a pill gun for medications.
“Tracy and Jessica were the best host for our dog, Stumpy! They made him and us feel comfortable during his stay. They took him for adventures during the weekend and sent us pictures and updates. We will definitely use them again to watch Stumpy!”

“Carla and her family are incredible! I was in Cleveland for work and unexpectedly needed a dog sitter She was super helpful and understanding. She took my dog for walks every day, even though she barks at every cat or dog she sees when she’s on walks She sent me videos and updates without me having to even ask. I’ve never had a dog sitter before so I was kind of nervous about texting everyday because I didn’t want to be annoying, she willingly sent me updates and even offered to allow me to come visit when I miss her. I definitely recommend! Five stars”

I have experience with dogs with special needs such as seizures, post surgery care, and administering medication. I offer Boarding and Doggy Daycare on weekdays and weekends June through August. I am a teacher on Summer break, so your dog will get plenty of love and attention! I offer drop -in visits, walking, 7 days a week throughout the year. I welcome dogs of any age and any size!!!! In your home I can feed, play with, cuddle, and walk your dog. In my home, I can do the same! Your dog will also be able to run around and burn off energy in my fenced in backyard. I have a large sized crate so I can also crate your dog if needed or you can bring one if you'd like. I have two children, 9 and 11, and a 3 year old dog named Lily. She is a super sweet 70 pound pittie mix and is is great with other dogs. In order to provide a safe environment for everyone, your dog MUST be good with other dogs and children. For care in my home, I require a meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along. *This is a non-smoking home!
“Leonard and his family were wonderful, they sent pictures multiple times a day and treated my pup as if he were their own! Thank you so much!!!! Will book with again.”

“Jeffany is the best! They treated our pup Ollie like their own, sending daily pictures and videos and giving him so much love. Highly recommend Jeffany to anyone needing a flexible, professional, and loving sitter!”

“This was our first time away from our guy. I was concerned about separation issues and depression. Couple that with medical needs and I knew I needed something more than a kennel. Here he had in person, round the clock care and was treated as one of the family. My concerns were unfounded as he had a blast! Every picture sent during his stay showed him happily interacting with the resident pets and truly having the time of his life. I would definitely do this again!”
