“The only issue with boarding my girls with Lynn, is that my dogs seem to suffer from postpartum depression for a couple days following their stay. You cannot find a better, more caring, surrogate dog parent for your 4 legged kids. Lots of playtime with Summer (Lynn’s girl), homemade treats, toys galore, cuddles and snuggles at will,… I could on and on… (BTW, unlike Amazon’s reviews, you can take this one to the bank!). About: I’ve taken care of and had several dogs my whole life! I had 4 dogs growing up and have a lot of experience walking/ playing/ being around dogs! I have my own cat now named, Momo! Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets for days/ weeks at a time. I’m a middle school teacher off for summer and have plenty of time on my hands! I’m currently working part time in the summers and able to play and walk dogs for most of the day. I am available from 8 am- 3:30pm. I have a cat of my own and have had multiple dogs growing up. About: My husband and I own a very sweet, playful Great Dane/mastiff and a pure bred English Mastiff. We have experience with all kinds of dogs and other animals. We have a large finished upstairs where our dog loves to run and play. We have a large backyard that is fully fenced/gated. We walk daily (in nice weather). We have fun toys to play with and a whole room for your dog to sleep in (instead of a cage) but if your dog prefers a cage we have a huge one he can sleep in (or you can bring your own). I stay home so your pet will have plenty of company! We have three young girls who absolutely love playing with dogs. They are gentle and dogs always love them.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life and started watching dogs for family and friends while in college and couldn't have my own. I've enjoyed watching pets for my loved ones and now that I am in a house and working remotely I want to be able to provide my pet care experience to more fur babies. While the majority of my experience is with dogs I've also taken care of cats, fish, anoles, bearded dragons, rabbits, chinchillas, and hedgehogs. I'm open to caring for all sorts of animals and I'm able to be flexible with your needs. I work outside the house part time so when pets are with me they are my first priority and I only accept pets when I know I have enough time to give them all the attention they need. I have caged animals that I let out when I can supervise them so they house is animal proofed and anything potentially harmful is locked away. I have baby gates that can be put up to keep puppies/ elderly dogs from falling down the stairs. My back yard is enclosed on 3 sides by fencing and would be watched and leashed at all times when outside.

About: There’s never been a time in my life where I haven’t been active. Realizing I could be both; active AND hang out with some furry friends - it was a no brainer for me. I’ve had two of my own dogs for the majority of my life (cat lover as well), so I’ve most definitely been acclimated to all that they may throw at me. I started rover mid 2025 as a side gig after hopping out of the 9-5 life - I now have a consistent clientele and pups/ kitties that I’ve watched grow up. I’m looking to continue booking up my schedule as I love what I now do! I most frequently get requested for walks and drop-ins. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to send me over a message!! About: I say the above because for many years, my long time dog buddy, Shelby (pictured in the photo I'm holding), loved to ride in my car, right by my side. Shelby passed away in 2018 and I miss her so much, every day. In 2019, I rescued a blue heeler/beagle mix, Nova; then in 2024, a shepherd mix, Holly. Dogs have been my companions for more than 40 years, and I have loved caring for, walking, playing, vacationing and just plain hanging with them. . I truly love dogs. They are one of humankind's most noble and steadfast animal friends. I would very much enjoy taking your best friend (or friends) for a walk. I have always enjoyed the company of my canines...and I'm sure I'd feel the same way about your four-legged pals. Plus, getting out with them is great exercise...for both dog and human! I am semi retired, so I have much flexibility in the hours that can be devoted to dog walking. I walk my own dogs in all kinds of weather, which is necessary given the variable climate here in NE Ohio! In my own home, my dogs get out for walks at least three times a day, we well as potty breaks where necessary. They have crates where they can freely go to when they wish to. Most important is that the dogs and I adhere to a stable, regular routine, including feeding and playtimes.

“We were a little bit apprehensive about boarding our dog during our vacation as our dog had not previously stayed with anyone outside of family before, but he could not have been in better hands! Mike and his wife clearly care deeply for all the dogs within their care and treat those staying with them as an extended part of the family. We received regular updates about how our dog was doing and daily pictures! We would happily have him stay with them again.”

Our dog had such a great time, got to play with other dogs, and got so much attention during her 10 day stay. Michelle also sent daily updates with photos and videos of our pup. We could not be any more pleased with Michelle’s services. She also offers day care services which we used prior to our stay to see if our dog was a good fit, and she was! “I had always used a commercial service for boarding, so was nervous about trying this. But after my dog and I met Cheryl, that anxiety went away. Immediately I could see how positively Reka reacted to her. Cheryl kept me up to date with daily messages and a photo. This was the first time I was not worried about boarding and this was the first time Reka did not have stomach issues after getting her picked up. Everything went perfect as Cheryl is very kind, understanding and patient. I highly recommend her. I will definitely use her every time I need someone to watch Reka.”
