But it turned out that I had absolutelynothing to worry about because Rachel was seriously so amazing. She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire time I was away, which immediately put me at ease. And she handled Bailey with so much patience and care that he quickly became comfortable with her. She made a real effort to keep him engaged and active, and it was clear she took the time to get to know his personality and adjust to what he needed in the moment. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there were always pets in the house, so caring for animals has been a natural part of my daily routine for years. Today, I have three cats of my own who get plenty of love, attention, and care. About: I noticed I’m always offering to take care of everyone’s pets in my personal life (HUGE animal lover) so I figured it’s time to join Rover. I’ve taken care of other pet owners cats, dogs, and rabbits in the past. I’ve had cats, dogs, and rabbits as pets as well as hamsters, goats, ducks, and fish growing up. I grew up in a small town in Ohio and my grandparents had a farm so I was around farm animals often. I don’t currently have any pets of my own as I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week (nurse) so I would absolutely LOVE to watch and walk your pets whenever I’m not at work! Since I work long hours and am not in a good position to get a pet of my own at this time, I would love nothing more than to share the love with your pet(s). I do have a full time job but I’m available on weekends and evenings after approximately 6:30pm (perfect time for walks!). I also have one off day during the week that rotates. I do not have any pets of my own so your pet would have my full attention (also a plus if your pet does not get along well with other pets).

About: I have had dogs just about my entire adult life. I had a miniature pinscher named Trey for 15 years and he was awesome! I also had a terrier mix named Alice for 12 years whom I loved very much. I have not had a dog for a few years now and miss getting to play/walk with a four-legged friend and figured this would be a fun way to scratch that itch. I have a sunroom that overlooks acres of woods for your pup to stare/bark at and a big front window to guard and let the mailman know who's boss. I work from home and can hang out with your pup all day in my house. I have a big yard they can play in and can take them for frequent walks. I do not have any pets so your pup will get my full attention. I have had dogs for 20+ years of my life and am a huge animal lover!
About: I’ve taken care of many animals in my life and also train my cat to play fetch and tag. I also have taken care of senior dogs during their final moments. Im currently a stay at home housewife and have some free time and I love animals so I definitely don’t mind how long or price for the care I’ll be giving. About: I have had a dog my entire life. I helped provide senior care for my childhood lab who had issues walking and have self trained two puppies. I have had a cat for nearly 7 years and have cat sit for several friends and neighbors. I work remotely from home so I am am available when your pet needs me. I am a night owl while my partner is an earlier rise pets have someone awake at almost all hours. I have a fenced yard although I never leave my pets outside unattended, some sections of fence are less secure for smaller dogs or professional escape artists but can be temporarily altered when needed. I also provide walks and indoor playtime.
About: I say the above because for many years, my long time dog buddy, Shelby (pictured in the photo I'm holding), loved to ride in my car, right by my side. Shelby passed away in 2018 and I miss her so much, every day. In 2019, I rescued a blue heeler/beagle mix, Nova; then in 2024, a shepherd mix, Holly. Dogs have been my companions for more than 40 years, and I have loved caring for, walking, playing, vacationing and just plain hanging with them. . I truly love dogs. They are one of humankind's most noble and steadfast animal friends. I would very much enjoy taking your best friend (or friends) for a walk. I have always enjoyed the company of my canines...and I'm sure I'd feel the same way about your four-legged pals. Plus, getting out with them is great exercise...for both dog and human! I am semi retired, so I have much flexibility in the hours that can be devoted to dog walking. I walk my own dogs in all kinds of weather, which is necessary given the variable climate here in NE Ohio! In my own home, my dogs get out for walks at least three times a day, we well as potty breaks where necessary. They have crates where they can freely go to when they wish to. I’ve never had a dog sitter before so I was kind of nervous about texting everyday because I didn’t want to be annoying, she willingly sent me updates and even offered to allow me to come visit when I miss her. “I was extremely nervous about leaving my anxious dog for the first time when I had to go away for five days for my brother's wedding. But it turned out that I had absolutelynothing to worry about because Rachel was seriously so amazing. She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire time I was away, which immediately put me at ease. And she handled Bailey with so much patience and care that he quickly became comfortable with her. She made a real effort to keep him engaged and active, and it was clear she took the time to get to know his personality and adjust to what he needed in the moment. I especially appreciated that she didn’t just “watch” him—she incorporated him into her daily routine, keeping him busy and comforted. I came back to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and I sort of got the feeling he didn't want to leave! I would recommend Rachel to everyone. :)”

“Tom and Tolley and the whole family are great! This was our dog’s third stay (2nd boarding overnight) and we were a little apprehensive initially, because our dog has separation anxiety. Our dog did very well and was very excited to go back. Tom and Tolley were professional, reassuring, caring and receptive to our dogs needs. She was treated like one of the family and had a great time.. received daily updates (text, photo, video) with feedback during her stay. It was a very positive experience overall for us and our dog. It was nice to get away and not worry and feel comfortable that our dog was in good hands and we could trust them to provide and care for her. 100% positive experience.”
