About: I have had dogs my entire life and have dog sat many pups in the last 4 years! I love watching dogs and currently have my own dog! I am home most of the time! I work part time as a nanny 3 minutes down the street from my house! That is only 4 days a week tho, for the most part the rest of my week is fairly flexible! I will care for the pets I watch however the owner prefers! I can offer a loving sitter when needed and will make sure the dogs get lots of exercise, play and cuddles!
“Marla took good care of Willow. She’s a good communicator and I received plenty of updates. My dog doesn’t like other animals and she was able to make sure she had her own space. Thanks Marla!”

“Jennifer and her family were fantastic hosts for Blake. They took the time to understand his special needs and quirks and took very good care of him. Thank you!!”

“She did a great job and my usually very shy and scared cat warmed up to Stephanie and her family fairly quickly! I have nothing but good things to say about her. Also, she was very flexible on the pick up time and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Highly recommend to use her for your animal sitting needs!”

“Marcie & family excepted my request on short notice. She sent pics. She went above and beyond for me and my pup. Her family treated him like one of their own. And for that, I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much!!!”

“Gareth was amazing!! I was nervous about boarding my dog as it was my first River experience, but it was such a breeze. I got constant communication, his dog Millie played with mine the whole time, and it made me feel so much better about traveling for the first time without the pup. Will absolutely ask them to sit again!!”

“Julie took great care of my dog! It was my first time leaving her with someone outside of the family and she put my nerves at ease with constant communication, pictures and videos. She treated my girl like her own. Thanks so much, Julie!”

“We were nervous for our first time having a dog sitter for our pup, but Christina was great! Very communicative and our little guy was well taken care of. I’d recommend her for sure.”

“I had a great experience with Victoria. She sent me several pictures throughout Sarge's stay and treated him well. Victoria was also very flexible about pickup/dropoff times and arranging our initial meet & greet. I highly recommend her.”

“Margaret is amazing! Great communication, and lots of photos showing my pup was having a great time! You can tell Margaret really cares and treated her as one of her own! Highly recommend! 5 Stars!”

“This was my first time leaving my very active 9 month old puppy. But Swetha arranged a meet and greet ahead of time and I felt I would be leaving him in good hands. I wasn't wrong. Ranger was extremely well cared for, he was his happy Healthy self when I picked him up. I got lots of pictures throughput his stay. I highly recommend Swetha and her wonderful family. It was a very good experience.”

About: I bring over 15 years of general animal care experience, including 2 years of professional pet sitting. My specialization lies in caring for elderly and medically-inclined pets, and I am proficient in all aspects of medication administration including subcutaneous fluids. While experienced with senior care, I thoroughly enjoy the playful energy of pups and am comfortable with all life stages. Though furry friends are my specialty, I also have experience with a variety of pets, including the feathery, scaly, and creepy crawly. At Pet Shenanigans, my core philosophy revolves around providing great quality care, consistency, and reliability. The most rewarding feedback I receive is about the peace of mind I offer owners while they are away, a testament to the trust they place in me. I take that responsibility to heart and strive to exceed expectations with every pet I care for. I look forward to meeting you and your companions! I am a professional pet sitter, so I will be here when you need me! I am reliable all times of the year and can incorporate daily walks, potty breaks, or spontaneous drop ins. My house sitting service is available on select dates and fill up quickly, so plan ahead. I am respectful of the space I am in. I will always clean up any messes, leave a full water bowl, and ensure your best friend has a safe environment before I leave.
“Lea was great with our boys! We asked her to watch them during Thanksgiving weekend and she gladly accepted our request. I was pretty nervous because our dogs have never been around children for long periods of time but she sent the most ADORABLE pictures f our dogs hanging with her two younger boys and my heart almost burst. Our boys came back exhausted so you know they had a great time playing with them. She's very accommodating with whatever we needed to feel comfortable with a first-time sitter and we will DEFINITELY be calling her again!”
“Amanda was very responsive, respectful, and understanding. Unfortunately, my pup started showing some unexpected behavioral issues we hadn’t seen before, which led to ending the stay earlier than planned. Amanda quickly notified us and followed our instructions to ensure everyone stayed safe until we arrived for pickup.”

“Leonard and his family were wonderful, they sent pictures multiple times a day and treated my pup as if he were their own! Thank you so much!!!! Will book with again.”

“Keeley was accommodating and communicated well. Our dog, Mia, had an amazing time during her stay. Mia got to play with her kids and dogs. We are so glad to have found a caring and loving sitter for Mia. Thank you Keeley!”

About: I was four years old when I began training our family dog. I was home alone for a few hours and crafted a special bond with our purebred Rottweiler named Zeus. Sometimes I get along better with animals than people, probably because my family has always bred dogs and treated them as part of the family. My parents helped me train our multiple dogs as the years went by and the most important lesson I learned was patience and consistency. I will treat your pet as a member of my family! I have a park a block away from my apartment and I love finding creative ways to entertain and teach animals. I can't wait to be a part time parent to your animal! I am very flexible so please don't hesitate to tell me your needs, even if they seem strange! I exercise my pets everyday and ensure they are training consistently. I currently have a flexible schedule so we can work on your needs and scheduling. My home is puppy proof, along with a gate I use to separate the upstairs from downstairs so my cat can have some peace and quiet lol

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fairview Park
I recently booked Kate on Rover.com to watch my dog, Herbie, and she was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, Herbie felt right at home with her. Kate clearly has a natural way with dogs, providing so much love and attention that Herbie didn’t even want to come home with me at the end of his stay! Kate kept me updated with plenty of messages and photos, so I always felt reassured that Herbie was happy, safe, and well cared for. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pup like their own, but Kate truly goes above and beyond. I wholeheartedly give her 5 out of 5 stars and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dedicated

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
