If you are looking for a reliable human to take care of your best friend AND update you with incredible photos then look no further! Growing up with a mother as a Veterinarian, I have had the privilege of being surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up in a household with five cats, two dogs and a guinea pig. I now am lucky enough to have two Golden Retrievers named Tucker and Buddy, who share a birthday exactly one year apart. In my opinion, they are family and are treated as such. They are both extremely laid back and get along with just about every dog they meet. Tucker does have a certain tolerance with puppies but is amazing with corrective behavior which is critical to pups in the development stages. I lean on my mother a lot for any/all medical questions I have surrounding my own dog. Over the years, I have gained a ton of knowledge from her which puts me in a great position to care for your fur baby! I have an entire first aid cabinet with just about everything I would need in the case of an emergency. You can rest assured that your pet is in good hands with me - especially knowing that if anything were to happen, my mother is only one phone call away. Walks are always included in my pricing. I aim to get in at least 2 miles a day, taking different routes around the neighborhood and adding in trips to Bain Park, Edgewater and Lakewood Park. In the warmer months, trips to my in-laws house are plentiful where pups can partake in swimming in their in-ground pool. We really try to give our dog the best life possible and love including all our Rover dogs when they stay with us.

Sierra is the absolute best. She watched our senior pup for one night and I got so many photo updates of her living her best life!! Sierra cared for our dog like her own, and gave me so much peace of mind. She also has the CUTEST senior goldens — can’t wait to bring Obie back!!!

Schedule
I'm currently working full-time for a FinTech company out of Texas. I am fully remote and am never required to go into the office. We are considered a start up so my schedule is very fluid with a ton of flexibility. This gives me the ability to spend a ton of quality time with your pet during the week. You can expect your pet to receive lots of cuddles, multiple walks during the day, trips to Edgewater and bathroom breaks every 0-2 hours. On the weekends, I love to do different hikes/events with Tucker and would be happy to include your fur baby in those plans!

I am flexible with feeding schedules and will accommodate whatever your dog is accustomed to. I always aim to do either a quick walk or a potty break every 0-2 hours. My house includes a private, fenced yard for pups to run free. I always keep a close eye on Tucker to ensure he is engaging in safe play and will do the same with your fur baby!
Pets
A typical day
I have a dog with moderate energy. He is typically very active in the morning, where we always try to get in at least a mile walk. Throughout the day, he is fairly lethargic and tends to take a ton of naps. I understand that every dog has a different set of needs and will do everything I can do accommodate that. I am lucky enough to live within a mile of Bain Park. There are a ton of different walking trails there as well as open fields where the dogs can play fetch or chase after each other. I love to let the dog dictate the walk meaning, I never pull when they are on a scent and allow them time to stop and interact with other dogs. On the weekends, I love to explore different areas and do hikes. I always stick to hikes that are considered moderate and ensure I have all the essentials necessary to ensure proper dog safety. Important to note: I am an active runner who loves dogs that enjoy burning off a ton of energy. Tucker unfortunately cannot run anymore due to his age.
