Hi! I'm Kate. My wife, Shaina, and I are lifelong animal lovers, passionate about animal care and looking forward to meeting new four-legged friends. We will care for your animals as if they were our own. I work from home so your pet won't have to spend much time alone. I'm also friends with many vet techs for quick medical advice. We have a sweet dog named Billie Eyelash and 4 active cats. We live in Fairview Park, in a home we own close to Westgate. The yard is fenced in and perfect for getting the zoomies out. We have used Kate many times now for our pug and she is amazing- I never worry or feel guilty about leaving him because I know he is getting great care and tons of snuggles. She has great communication and gives tons of updates. Our dog loves it at Kate’s place!

Kate and Shaina provided a kind, loving home away from home for my two Cavaliers. It was a relief to see photos and read texts about how the dogs were doing. They were content during their first ever sleepover! I take them with me wherever I go, but will certainly book Kate and Shaina the next time I cannot.

I'm lucky enough to work from home full time and I'm generally a homebody so your pet will get ample love and attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm definitely more of a cautious person so I always make sure pets are protected and safe while in my home. I watch doors so that pets can't sneak out and I made sure to reinforce our fence so that tiny dogs can't slip through. When we leave the home, we always crate our client's dogs for their own protection. We have large, comfortable crates with beds available so you don't need to bring your own.
Pets
A typical day
I'm happy to do what the pet prefers. Walks, playing fetch, tug of war, couch cuddles, belly rubs, etc. We have a wonderful backyard oasis where we hang out in the summer.
