“The only issue with boarding my girls with Lynn, is that my dogs seem to suffer from postpartum depression for a couple days following their stay. You cannot find a better, more caring, surrogate dog parent for your 4 legged kids. Lots of playtime with Summer (Lynn’s girl), homemade treats, toys galore, cuddles and snuggles at will,… I could on and on… (BTW, unlike Amazon’s reviews, you can take this one to the bank!). About: I’ve had dogs since forever, I love mine more than anything. My experiences dog sitting and cat sitting range from my neighbors and family to taking care of animals on my uncles farm. About: I’ve taken care of a German Shepherd named Kylo for the past 2 years. I recently stopped due to the owner being able to stay home with him full time. I used to house/dog sit, walk, and help with general care including baths, nail trimming, and very very basic trims. I work 3rd shift Monday-Friday. My husband and I went on our first vacation and were super nervous to leave our 8 month old diabetic puppy anywhere since most boarding facilities are not 24 hour operated. I knew I would stress the entire time if our puppy would be alright. There was a chance her sugar would drop and there would be no staff at the facility. I work a 9–5 job from home, which means your pet gets plenty of company throughout the day rather than being left alone for hours. I’m also able to take dogs on an extended walk during my lunch break, so they can get some exercise, fresh air, and attention in the middle of the day. Whether your pet needs a long walk, some playtime, a cozy companion while you’re away, or just a little extra TLC, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I’m dependable, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and preferences. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for! My weekly routine is pretty consistent, which is great for dogs who love having a predictable schedule! Every workday I start each morning with a trip to the gym, then come home and take the pups on a nice, extended walk through the Metroparks near my house. Once we’re home, I settle into work for a few hours while the dogs get some downtime. I have a fenced-in yard, so I like to let them out regularly throughout the morning to stretch their legs, sniff around, and get some fresh air. Lunchtime means another extended walk!
