I have 5 cats & 3 medium/large dogs & rarely travel because there's so many moving parts involved. None of them free feed, some eat different types of food & 6 of them need meds. I ask for them to be fed, medicated, kept comfortable & safe, but don't really have an expectation of much beyond that as it's already so much work to do those things. I think of it like a boarding or kennel situation, except they get to stay home where they are comfortable & not stressed. When I tell you Karen & James treated my entire household like their own, I cannot overstate it enough. The meet & greet was great & they asked fantastic questions to get to know everyone's needs. James came back for a second visit just to make sure he had everything down. They played with the dogs extensively, figuring out quickly exactly how to tire out the high energy golden. They sent detailed updates & photos, came on schedule exactly as agreed upon & were friendly, funny, thoughtful & kind. One of my cats is prone to anxiety & pulls his fur when stressed & I can see he didn't do that while we were gone. Not only was everyone safe & comfortable, but I came home to a house that was kept up basically exactly the way I do it on a normal basis. With 8 pets, that is so, so much work. I walked into my home after being gone for 5 days and it was like I had never left. They scooped the yard, they vacuumed litter, they cleaned up dustbunnies - things I had told them weren't necessary as it was enough to keep everyone safe & comfortable. I hope they will take care of my family again.”

About: I am a huge animal lover and would love to give you pup the attention it craves while you are out of town or away for the day. I have been around dogs all my life or all shapes and sizes and love them all! I can also take care of any mail, water plants and anything else you may need while you are gone. Before taking on a client I prefer to meet with you and your furry family member so that they can become familiar with me and I can learn more about them face to face in their familiar environment. We can find a solution that will fit your needs My dog doesn't know a stranger and loves going on walks and car rides. We both love being outside so we go on walk frequently and love to play fetch and visit dog parks. I would love to take your fur baby on adventures while you were away!
