About: As an aspiring veterinarian and Animal Science student, I've always had a passion for caring for animals. I've been the proud owner of my Shih Tzu for nearly 7 years, giving me firsthand experience with daily care, grooming, exercise, and understanding a dog's unique needs. I also regularly assist in caring for a well-loved Goldendoodle whenever his owner is away, making sure he stays on his normal routine, gets plenty of attention, and feels comfortable while his family is gone. I was in desperate need of someone to look after Zoey after she was picked up from the facility where she was suppose to stay while we were out of town, but things changed. To make a long story short, Whitney provided the absolute best care for Zoey! From the very beginning, she was prompt, dependable, and caring. She kept us updated whenever she arrived and when she was leaving, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Whitney took Zoey on walks, made sure she was fed, kept us updated on how she was doing, and even worked with her on commands. About: I was a zookeeper for 15+ years and have experience with a plethora of species. I have fostered animals of all kinds through different rescue organizations. I am a large breed person who currently has a smaller dog and cat. I spent many of my zookeeping years training animals, and have experience with strong stubborn dog breeds. I thoroughly enjoy a senior pet who will cuddle on the couch while I drink my coffee. I currently work from 9-1:30, with a spouse that works from home. My schedule allows plenty of time for morning walks and afternoon love and care. I am available for boarding most days, and dog walking, house checks in afternoons. A large portion of my yard is fenced so there is plenty of room for your dogs to stretch their legs outside of walks. I have a 30lb senior dog at home who occasionally enjoys a new companion. Otherwise my children love animals and always enjoy a new playmate, while being respectful of their boundaries. I prefer crating dogs whenever we are not home, at least until we know them and how they interact with my pets. I have crates from small to XXL so no need to bring your own.

About: Animals have always played an important part in my life. I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was 10 years old. I have over 30 years of experience in animal husbandry and care. Whenever a family member needs to go out of town, I am the person that they ask to feed their cats and dogs. In college, I took my roommates dogs out for potty breaks and walks when she had classes. In 2021, I stayed for 5 months at a friend's house pet sitting their Chihuahua and cat. I volunteer to walk the dogs at the Guilford County animal shelter every Tuesday. Not only am I a pet sitter, I'm also a pet owner. I currently am owned by four cats and one spoiled pitbull. I just returned from being a Peace Corps volunteer in North Macedonia. My usual fulltime job is TESOL instructor, and this can be done remotely. I am currently not teaching. I am flexible and willing to conform to whatever your pet needs. I'm willing to follow any directions or care that you require for your pet. As a dog walker, I have the equipment to complete the task. I keep poop bags, dog treats, and extra leashes in my car. If I am in your home, I will be sure to follow your directions and keep you posted with pictures throughout the day.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I love taking care of them and I’m very good at it. I have taken care of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, bunnies, hamsters, bearded dragons, and even a chinchilla. I am in college right now. I am available anytime Mondays and Fridays. For the rest of the week, I am available anytime after 3 pm. Since I am currently in college, I can’t bring any pets back with me so I would have to pet sit at your home. I can crate your dog when needed. I’m very good at disciplining animals. I do not yell and I definitely do not hit.
