About: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician (with a degree in Veterinary Technology) with 7+ years of animal care experience. Animals have been a passion my whole life and I love each animal like it's my own no matter the species. I have been working in Veterinary Medicine for 5 years and focus on mainly emergency and exotic specialties. I can also care for all other types of animals. I have owned dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians and pocket pets. I am working full time but am available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all day. I can do cat visits (once a day) on Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mondays. I live in 3b/2b house with my 2 dogs who are highly socialized and trained. There is a small dog park at my house for exercise and many walking locations near by.

About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

About: Hi! I’m Danielle. I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life and have been pet-sitting for about 17 years. I also grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always just been part of my day-to-day life. I’ve worked long-term with a family who has four senior beagles (one is blind), so I’m very comfortable with medications, routines, and dogs that need a little extra patience and care. Your dog will stay in my home and be treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced yard where they can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot (which, realistically, is often). I also live about a mile from a dog park if your dog enjoys getting out and exploring. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible—whether that’s lots of playtime or just a calm place to relax. Every dog is different, and I adjust to what they need. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away, and you can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. I work a typical Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to stop by during the day for potty breaks, medications, and check-ins. Before and after work, your pet will get plenty of attention, time outside, and interaction. Weekends are more flexible, so I’m able to spend more extended time with pets in my care. Every other weekend, my 5-year-old is with me—she’s grown up around animals and is very gentle and comfortable with them. My home is very pet-friendly and pretty relaxed. Dogs are welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, and I try to keep their routine as close to home as possible. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot. I keep a close eye on pets when they’re outside and make sure they’re always safe and comfortable.

I particularly enjoy working with shy and anxious dogs and cats. As a sitter, I pay attention to the details, such as pet body language and making sure food and water bowls are cleaned, and I am diligent in keeping pets out of potentially dangerous situations. Overnight dog sits include at least one walk a day unless otherwise specified or the weather prevents it, in which case indoor playtime will be had instead. I am comfortable administering medications, including injections. I am avaliable for constant care overnights (no leaving the dog(s) alone) for an additional fee. I am self-employed, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am avaliable for constant care for an additional rate. Most of my exercise comes from walking dogs, so I am more than happy to take the long route if your pooch is up for it! I am very careful with your pets, avoiding encounters with unfamiliar dogs or people to avoid conflicts. My food is never within reach, and I pride myself on keeping your home clean and ready for your return.

I work as a full time in-home social worker but my schedule is flexible. My days consist of driving around town so if I need to stop by your home midday, that’s an option. I can also flex my work hours which would allow me to stop by in the mornings or evenings as well. I’m often fully available on weekends. I live in a medium sized home with a lot of open space for play. I do not own a crate, but I do have a large spare bathroom and this is where my own rescue pets have stayed after surgeries or while adjusting to their new home. There are several barn/sliding doors in my home which allow me to section it off and allow more space/privacy as needed. I also have a fenced in backyard and live near a nature preserve so there is ample space for roaming and play.

About: I have always had multiple dogs in my home. My family has a love for rescuing dogs so we have taken in and fostered numerous dogs in the past. I cared for many dogs while in Tuscaloosa for college. I have since moved to Birmingham and become a NICU nurse! No matter what your baby needs, I’m here!! I am a full time nurse so my schedule varies! I typically work 3 days a week, so depending on the week I will be available different days! I love to be active and love to run around with energetic dogs as well as give love to the cuddly dogs! I base my approach based on the dogs needs, every baby is different!

About: My husband and I share this Rover account to provide the coverage you and your pets need! I (Jillian) will usually be the one in contact and providing services. My husband is my backup 🙂 We love working with animals and would be happy to give you some peace of mind while you leave them in our care! I've had pets my entire life - dogs, cats, guinea pigs, horses, hamsters, birds, fish, turtles, and more! We currently have 3 cats, but we love to interact with or take care of other animals whenever we can - even snakes! Please note: We prefer to take care of smaller dog breeds, but will accept bookings for larger dogs on a case-by-case basis. Being a full-time teacher, my (Jillian’s) schedule is pretty open on the weekends! I can also be available for drop-ins on weeknights, if needed. My schedule will be fully open over the summer! Brett works from home a few days per week, so we have the flexibility to cover your needs. We’re comfortable taking care of pets of nearly all species and breeds. We prefer to take care of small-to-medium dogs, but can work with larger dogs on a case-by-case basis. I know how pets may be stressed when a stranger comes into their safe space, so we approach pets with a calm demeanor - and treats help too :) We will build trust with your pets so we can work together to get them the care they need!
