About: **Privately Insured for Peace of Mind** I've been pet sitting since childhood for all kinds of pets. My care experience has even involved small mammals, piglets, arthropods, and repitlies. I particularly enjoy working with shy and anxious dogs and cats. As a sitter, I pay attention to the details, such as pet body language and making sure food and water bowls are cleaned, and I am diligent in keeping pets out of potentially dangerous situations. Overnight dog sits include at least one walk a day unless otherwise specified or the weather prevents it, in which case indoor playtime will be had instead. I am comfortable administering medications, including injections. I am avaliable for constant care overnights (no leaving the dog(s) alone) for an additional fee. I am self-employed, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am avaliable for constant care for an additional rate. Most of my exercise comes from walking dogs, so I am more than happy to take the long route if your pooch is up for it! I am very careful with your pets, avoiding encounters with unfamiliar dogs or people to avoid conflicts. My food is never within reach, and I pride myself on keeping your home clean and ready for your return.

About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

About: I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes from my experience in a vet clinic. I know what to look for when a dog is feeling un well or anxious. I have my own dog that is a cocker spaniel and he lives to play! I currently work at a job where I handle multiple dogs at once and I love it! I go on lots of walks and have a big yard to play! I work a part time job and am in college in town. I Am home most of the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Saturdays are my busy days but am still available to board. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are a little more unpredictable w my schedule but I am home by 5 maybe before. I have a large fenced yard and live across from a large dog friendly park/walking trail. I have a friendly dog to keep your baby company! If your dog is not crate trained it is no problem. And if they are, I have large crates.

About: I have always had multiple dogs and cats as family members throughout my life. My parents raised me to be surrounded by animals and as an adult now, my life has not changed. I love cats and dogs equally and all of mine get along with each other. They are my family. I have raised puppies and kittens from birth, helped nurse any furry family member back to health, and I properly take care of my little furry ones by putting their needs before my own. Did I mention that I love animals? =) My mom will be at home all day every day, in case I need to leave the house. She is part of the reason why I have such a love for animals, so I know she will love any new visitor to our home as much as I will! My two dogs, Jake and Honey, are super sweet and calm around new friends. They may want to take a few sniffs...but what dog doesn't? Jake is a Blue Heeler mix and is very social and compassionate to others. Honey is a Husky mix and still has that playful personality just like a puppy. She is always ready to play! During the school year, I work full-time as a preschool teacher in an early learning center near my home. I will be able to spend all afternoon and night with your furry loved one as soon as I get home from work. There will be plenty of potty breaks during the day because my mom will be able to handle it...she is responsible for giving potty breaks to my furry babies so I know she will do a great job. During the summer, I will be available to give love and attention all day! During potty breaks and times spent outside in the back yard, there will be someone visiting with them. This may be my mom during the day or myself during the afternoons and nights. We will have food offered to them three times a day, unless you prefer another option. I chose to become a sitter because I love visiting with my furry family members and understand what it is like when I need to travel out of town. I worry and I stress about what my babies are going through when I am not there. I would love to be that factor in your life that calms that worry while you are out of town!

About: I’ve had multiple pets for multiple years. I’ve fostered, rescued, rehabbed, and taken care of multiple dogs at a time for multiple years. They have a wide range of personalities, needs, and interests. I’ve worked with aggressive, resource-protective, calm, and medically needing dogs. I’m capable and equipped to take care of them and help your home function well! I’m a business owner with a very flexible schedule. I can usually be available quickly and last minute if needed. About: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician (with a degree in Veterinary Technology) with 7+ years of animal care experience. Animals have been a passion my whole life and I love each animal like it's my own no matter the species. I have been working in Veterinary Medicine for 5 years and focus on mainly emergency and exotic specialties. I can also care for all other types of animals. I have owned dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians and pocket pets. I am working full time but am available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all day. I can do cat visits (once a day) on Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mondays. I live in 3b/2b house with my 2 dogs who are highly socialized and trained. There is a small dog park at my house for exercise and many walking locations near by.

About: As someone who grew up on a farm, I have experience caring for a variety of animals. I also volunteered in a vet clinic so I am comfortable with administering medications if needed. I work as a full time in-home social worker but my schedule is flexible. My days consist of driving around town so if I need to stop by your home midday, that’s an option. I can also flex my work hours which would allow me to stop by in the mornings or evenings as well. I’m often fully available on weekends. I live in a medium sized home with a lot of open space for play. I do not own a crate, but I do have a large spare bathroom and this is where my own rescue pets have stayed after surgeries or while adjusting to their new home. There are several barn/sliding doors in my home which allow me to section it off and allow more space/privacy as needed. I also have a fenced in backyard and live near a nature preserve so there is ample space for roaming and play.

I also grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always just been part of my day-to-day life. I’ve worked long-term with a family who has four senior beagles (one is blind), so I’m very comfortable with medications, routines, and dogs that need a little extra patience and care. Your dog will stay in my home and be treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced yard where they can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot (which, realistically, is often). I also live about a mile from a dog park if your dog enjoys getting out and exploring. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible—whether that’s lots of playtime or just a calm place to relax. Every dog is different, and I adjust to what they need. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away, and you can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. I work a typical Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to stop by during the day for potty breaks, medications, and check-ins. Before and after work, your pet will get plenty of attention, time outside, and interaction. Weekends are more flexible, so I’m able to spend more extended time with pets in my care. Every other weekend, my 5-year-old is with me—she’s grown up around animals and is very gentle and comfortable with them. My home is very pet-friendly and pretty relaxed. Dogs are welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, and I try to keep their routine as close to home as possible. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot. I keep a close eye on pets when they’re outside and make sure they’re always safe and comfortable.

About: Hello! My husband and I are both UAB residents who love animals. We both would love to take care of your pets and give them love and attention while also making some money for date nights.
