About: Since the beginning, friends and family have often come to me when they need someone to pet sit! I have dogs and cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well taken care of. I genuinely love spending time with animals and would be happy to give your pets the same care and attention I give my own! Ive recently moved to Birmingham so my schedule is currently open. Preferably, I hope to be consistently available in the afternoons and early evening. But as of now, I am available all day! I care for pets in their home by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of attention and affection! I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have for your pets and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. At this time I do not provide boarding services.

Your pets are my priority! -Capable of caring for small mammals and exotic pets, including reptiles and arthropods As a sitter, I pay attention to the details, such as making sure food and water bowls are cleaned, and I am diligent in keeping pets out of potentially dangerous situations. You can also be assured that I will take good care of your home. Overnight dog sits include at least one walk a day unless otherwise specified or the weather prevents it. I am comfortable administering medications, including injections. **Depending on your needs, I may not be able to provide constant care on Wednesday nights, as I have an 2.5hr evening class, but this is my only other commitment I am self-employed, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am avaliable for constant care for an additional rate. Most of my exercise comes from walking dogs, so I am more than happy to take the long route if your pooch is up for it! I am very careful with your pets, avoiding encounters with unfamiliar dogs or people to avoid conflicts. My food is never within reach, and I pride myself on keeping your home clean and ready for your return.

I’m very attentive to changes in behavior and will carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and household instructions you provide. About: I've taken care of dog's since I was 10. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk (dog parks or just around neighborhoods) and feed their dogs. I had a leopard gecko when I was 12, I've had fish, cats, turtles, and multiple breeds of dogs as well so I'm pretty well rounded. I currently door dash so I'm pretty much free throughout the week. If you have a specific schedule you would like to work around just let me know and we can work something out. I am attentive and and engaging with the pet so they will not be left unattended. About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

About: I have lived with cats my entire life and currently own five of them. When neighbors or family members are away, I occasionally take over to make sure they are well fed and treated. Experienced with many different types of cats; this includes kittens, aggressive, wild, neurotic and/or disabled cats. I have college in the mornings Monday through Thursday, but I'm free the rest of the time. If there are any sudden inconveniences with schedule then I will notify as soon as possible. (Additionally, my name is Kuvo, but Lydia is fine. Your pet is my priority, so I hope a name will not disturb the service provided.) There are certain times for engaging with cats and certain times to provide them with distance. I hope to prevent stress while also giving them the proper attention they need. I am never too far and know where they are.

I’ve worked long-term with a family who has four senior beagles (one is blind), so I’m very comfortable with medications, routines, and dogs that need a little extra patience and care. Your dog will stay in my home and be treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced yard where they can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot (which, realistically, is often). I also live about a mile from a dog park if your dog enjoys getting out and exploring. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible—whether that’s lots of playtime or just a calm place to relax. Every dog is different, and I adjust to what they need. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away, and you can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. I work a typical Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to stop by during the day for potty breaks, medications, and check-ins. Before and after work, your pet will get plenty of attention, time outside, and interaction. Weekends are more flexible, so I’m able to spend more extended time with pets in my care. Every other weekend, my 5-year-old is with me—she’s grown up around animals and is very gentle and comfortable with them. My home is very pet-friendly and pretty relaxed. Dogs are welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, and I try to keep their routine as close to home as possible. My special skills, are soft skills… Meaning that I work best with slow warm-ups for any anxious pets. But also, I’m ready for any high energy animals as well.
