About: Since the beginning, friends and family have often come to me when they need someone to pet sit! I have dogs and cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well taken care of. I genuinely love spending time with animals and would be happy to give your pets the same care and attention I give my own! Ive recently moved to Birmingham so my schedule is currently open. Preferably, I hope to be consistently available in the afternoons and early evening. But as of now, I am available all day! I care for pets in their home by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of attention and affection! I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have for your pets and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. At this time I do not provide boarding services.

You can also be assured that I will take good care of your home. Overnight dog sits include at least one walk a day unless otherwise specified or the weather prevents it. I am comfortable administering medications, including injections. **Depending on your needs, I may not be able to provide constant care on Wednesday nights, as I have an 2.5hr evening class, but this is my only other commitment I am self-employed, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am avaliable for constant care for an additional rate. Most of my exercise comes from walking dogs, so I am more than happy to take the long route if your pooch is up for it! I am very careful with your pets, avoiding encounters with unfamiliar dogs or people to avoid conflicts. My food is never within reach, and I pride myself on keeping your home clean and ready for your return.

About: I am experienced with dogs of all sizes and cats as well. I grew up with both dogs and cats and also currently have a big fluffy husky that I love taking on long walks. He has taught me patience when walking to let him sniff and explore and to be able to pick up on tell tale signs from other dogs and surrounding areas. I have never met a pet I wasn’t able to become buddies within no time. I work full time but can walk before and after work on week days. The weekends I am free at any time to walk dogs. I have a 9 year old husky I walk an average of 2 - 3 miles a day since he loves walks. I do not bring him along for house sitting since his fluff will stay long after he does and he is comfy staying at home with my sister. I know how to approach new dogs to let them know I am a trustworthy person and pay attention to their own moods and personalities as each animal is different.

About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

Experienced with many different types of cats; this includes kittens, aggressive, wild, neurotic and/or disabled cats. I’ve worked long-term with a family who has four senior beagles (one is blind), so I’m very comfortable with medications, routines, and dogs that need a little extra patience and care. Your dog will stay in my home and be treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced yard where they can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot (which, realistically, is often). I also live about a mile from a dog park if your dog enjoys getting out and exploring. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible—whether that’s lots of playtime or just a calm place to relax. Every dog is different, and I adjust to what they need. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away, and you can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. I work a typical Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to stop by during the day for potty breaks, medications, and check-ins. Before and after work, your pet will get plenty of attention, time outside, and interaction. Weekends are more flexible, so I’m able to spend more extended time with pets in my care. Every other weekend, my 5-year-old is with me—she’s grown up around animals and is very gentle and comfortable with them. My home is very pet-friendly and pretty relaxed. Dogs are welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, and I try to keep their routine as close to home as possible. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot. I keep a close eye on pets when they’re outside and make sure they’re always safe and comfortable.

Wallace(Pittie), Paco(Weenie), Fig(Frenchie), Eli and Brooks(Twin Frenchies). I've had dogs range from small to large all my life. I can provide check ins, house sitting, walks and in some cases keeping your pets at my house(depending on temperament) I try and stick to care at your house as I have 5 pups of my own(super friendly), but if we did a play date to make sure they all get along your pups would enjoy a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run around.

About: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician (with a degree in Veterinary Technology) with 7+ years of animal care experience. Animals have been a passion my whole life and I love each animal like it's my own no matter the species. I have been working in Veterinary Medicine for 5 years and focus on mainly emergency and exotic specialties. I can also care for all other types of animals. I have owned dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians and pocket pets. I am working full time but am available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all day. I can do cat visits (once a day) on Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mondays. I live in 3b/2b house with my 2 dogs who are highly socialized and trained. There is a small dog park at my house for exercise and many walking locations near by.
