Hello all! My name is Frankie (they/he). I grew up with large dogs and feel so blessed to be trusted by friends, family, and newcomers to care for their precious beings. I am currently training my two y.o. boxer and have experience with senior dog care + reactive dogs. I love making connections with people and animals alike!

I live with my partner, a 3-year-old boxer, and two kittens who are 2 and 1. Our yard is completely fenced in- definitely enough room for the zoomies! My schedule allows me the ability to spend quality time with your pet in my home or yours. Respecting others space and time is a big deal to me so I make sure to ask as many care questions as possible before I care for your animal in any space. For dog-boarding clients: a meet and greet is required and your dog must be able to tolerate my boxer’s sporadic high energy. He is a sweet guy but his playful approach does not mesh with every kind of dog. Please let me know if your dog has any kind of food or toy aggression and I will ensure they are fed separately and toys are put up during their stay. As for our kittens, Garbanzo is also sweet and laid back (most of the time- nighttime zooms are the exception), and Honey Rat is the nervous one so she hides until she feels it’s okay to come out.

What a joy it was to have Frankie caring for my kitties while out of town. He is so thoughtful, provides great notes and pictures with each visit. The electric lock on my door sometimes jams in the summer and he made sure the house was securely locked before leaving each visit - a small thing that I greatly appreciated. Knowing my two kitties got plenty of love, pets and playtime while I was away made leaving them not so hard.
My dogs love him!
We went out of town for our wedding, and Frankie did a great job watching our sweet Fiona!! Very responsive, took great pictures, and made sure to update us on anything new! If I wasn't about to move out of town, I would definitely book Frankie again! :)
So amazing, walked and played fetch. I felt so bad requesting so last notice but Frankie responded quickly. Gave my sweet Bleu treats too! Thank you so much Frankie!

Wow! Frankie is outstanding!!!! I’m talking 10/10 Instantly our pups were comfortable, wanting to play and get scratches! Our timid female usually takes some time to warm up and that was not the case here! Frankie is just so kind and thoughtful! Asked all the questions and even offered to water the plants! If you want your fur babies to be in the best hands look no further 👏

Schedule
I moved to Birmingham two years ago to assist with a house renovation, so my schedule is molded week by week. If I accept a booking, your fur babe is my priority until they are back in your care. I am a flexible person so am fine with same-day requests; if I can make it happen—I do!
