About: I have had at least one dog ever since I was born, and i have had to care for, exercise, feed, and bathe a dog since. Plenty of friends and family have also asked me to dog sit or dog walk for them so I am very familiar with working with dogs that aren’t my own. I also worked at Camp Bow Wow in Montgomery for a year. They are a highly regarded doggy day care and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I was in constant contact with dogs and learned a lot about caring for them more than i already knew. I have a flexible work from home job, so i have plenty of time to take care of your pups!! I love going for walks and playing with dogs, as well as being chill and giving them plenty of belly rubs!!! At home, I feed my dog and take her for daily walks. I also do enrichment exercises with her to keep her mind stimulated. In your home, I would do the same as well as take them for plenty of walks!! About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. In my 30s I’ve mixed it up and have two big rescue dogs, and we’ve been at the dog park nearly every day for 6 years now. Wow they grow fast! There are many parks and we walk several times a day and play on- and off-leash. Basically, my two dogs are my life right now so I thought I’d try this to have something to do! I have a two-bedroom apartment but one is devoted to the dogs and there is extra space in my master room if dogs don’t need to sleep together. While I only have a balcony, it is good enough for my dogs to sunbathe on and stare at passersby. About: I’ve had my dog, Ollie, for 5 years since he was 8 weeks old, and my rescue Sadie since March 2024. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. My dad is allergic to dogs and cats, so growing up I didn’t get to have any of my own (besides the occasional fish). But anytime a friend or family member needed someone to take care of their pet, I would gladly do it. I am currently available on weekdays at any time and most weekends. I can make time to check on your pup or kitten whenever we you need me to! During home visits and/or walks, I will make sure your pet has a well-loved visit including some cuddles and belly-rubs, play time, taken outside to potty, and/or at least a 10 minute walk (unless requested longer). I can also feed your dog if requested. During the hotter months (85 degrees and up) I would prefer to not walk your dog longer than 20mins during the hours of 11am - 5pm, due to keeping your pups best interest at heart (burnt paws, overheating, etc.) but will gladly play with them outside in a backyard/dog area for longer!
