“I cannot recommend Leah enough. She’s gone above and beyond for our three kitties, including giving medicine to our feisty tortie. She’s a great communicator and really cares for the fur babies she looks after. Thanks so much Leah!”

“Sass did an excellent job taking care of our 2 cats! She was able to get 3 meds into our cat with her creative food mixtures! We recommend her highly and will use her again!”

“Devin was amazing! The updates helped make us feel like we knew exactly what was going on and the pictures helped when we were missing our babies. She took such great care of the kitties and you can really tell she spent time with them and got to know them. We always laughed at her updates because they matched the personalities of our kitties perfectly! We will ABSOLUTELY be using Devin again in the future! She is awesome!”

About: I love all sorts of cats and dogs, and have been pet sitting since I was 13. I am now trying to make money for college, and spending time with pets seems like the best way to do it This is my only job at the moment, so I can be very flexible with any times & dates. The one thing is that I am not much of a morning person, but I will be very happy to comply with any time if an early check-in is needed :) I would be more than happy to give your pet all of the attention it needs, as well as feed them, give them water, clean their litter box, take them outside, clean up their messes, or help them with anything they might need! Just let me know!
“Piper was great! She provided timely updates and plenty of photos during the visit. It’s obvious she really cares and takes the time to do things right. Will use again and would highly recommend!”

“Hannah did an amazing job!! It truly felt like we had someone taking care of our three boys that really cared. She kept up with my senior boy Humphrey’s medicine and kept the younger boys entertained and feeling loved. She was also great at communicating, sending us lots of pictures, and showing up to the house at a consistent time. When we returned from our trip, the cats were in great spirits and our house felt so clean and light. She went the extra mile to take out the trash and run the dishwasher before we returned! Truly so grateful and we will absolutely book her again.”

“Kyle was a very last-minute booking, but he made himself available, was very clear about the time needed to do all that was asked, and he seems to have been quite thorough. I am very grateful for his help, and I would not hesitate to book again!”

“Amyvis fantastic! My cats immediately took to her when she came to meet them. While taking care of them she sent updates and pictures that made me feel comfortable with her taking care of them.”

“Katharine has been my saving grace since getting my Benny boy. Her love and care for my puppy doesn’t go unnoticed. She is the most reliable help I have found so far, and I plan to keep her around for as long as she will let me. My Benny loves her and so do I! Thank you Katharine for all you do for us, and I absolutely recommend using her for your doggy needs! ❤️”

“Frankie did a fantastic job! Both of my cats seemed happy to see me when I got home, but I’d obvious they were will cared for in my absence! Frankie sent daily updates and pictures!”

“Megan is always a gem. Very reliable, great at figuring what my cats need. She is good with my shy cats and willing to put in the hard work when needed. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter.”
“Awesome job! Boys were well cared for and had lots of good playtime. She also took great care of our newly adopted cucumber plant and gave him a great nickname lol. Always a pleasure!”

“We have a semi-feral, learning domestication skills cat, Miss Kitty, who is free to roam outside and in, and is very wary of strangers. Cam was so patient and loving, and won over Miss Kitty and us! We received daily updates, photos and/or videos. We highly recommend her for any cat sitting job you may have.”

About: I grew up with a cat of 14 years and later my family adopted a husky which stole our hearts! Since, I have cared for not only my sisters set of 2 beautiful golden retrievers since they were brought home but other dogs of clients and I currently live with a cat! I am currently a 4th year medical student at UAB. My clinical rotation schedule currently is extremely light for the month of February I after 12 PM. And through March April in the first half of May, I am pretty much fully free. Under my care, pets will be brought outside for a potty breaks or a walk only on a safe leash. No dogs will be brought anywhere near roads or construction where they could get injured.
“Saraelizabeth was absolutely amazing with both our dog and cat! She always worked out ways to keep them engaged even if the weather was bad and even got our grumpy elderly cat to come up and love on her and play with her so she is a total cat whisperer. Even all the crazy energy our dog has didn’t deter her and we are so happy we trusted her with our pets while we were on vacation.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Mountain Brook
Kyle came once a day to look in on our cats, give them fresh food and water, and take care of the litter boxes. He communicated every day to let me know how it was going - even though the cats didn't come out for him (I have since talked to the cats about showing some gratitude). He was easy to work with. When we met in person I could tell he cared a lot about animals and had great attention to detail. Definitely will have Kyle back, and maybe the cats will be more appreciative this time.

Sarah is AMAZING!!! She helped us out for a last minute trip and went above and beyond. She came over for a 10 minute visit before the trip to go over everything and get all of the details she needed. She then gave us detailed reports on them after each visit with lots of photos. We are so grateful for attentiveness and will definitely be referring her to anyone who needs pets cared for. Thank you Sarah!!
Hannah did a great job taking care of my boys! This is my second time booking with her and I will definitely be booking again for future care. Hannah does a great job communicating, letting me feel at ease that my cats have the best possible care while I’m away.

I’m so grateful to have found Piper here! She did an exceedingly great job with my cranky old cat, she was always on time and sent lots of sweet photos, and she did a very good job communicating and asking questions when she needed to. 10/10 sitter! Thanks, Piper!

Wilfredo took such great care of my kitties! He sent me thoughtful, thorough updates each day, spent time playing with them, and introduced them to KittyTV. He’s very nice, and my cats seemed really comfortable with him. I was on a longer trip than usual and it was a relief to know they were being so well looked after.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
