I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”

About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. In my 30s I’ve mixed it up and have two big rescue dogs. About: I’ve always been the friend people call when they need someone to care for their pets! I’ve raised a dog from puppyhood and adopted and cared for a senior dog, so I’m comfortable with every stage of life. Over the years, I’ve been a repeat dog and cat sitter and walker for countless friends and family—including house sitting for over a month. I am also a Doctor (resident physician) at Baptist Health, so responsibility, attention to detail, and caring for others are a big part of my everyday life. About: I walk my dog twice a day, take him to socialize with other dogs, and give plenty of open window car rides. I’ve trained him when he was young and I have also taken care of a wide range of animals of other ages from the animal clinic that I shadow at. I’m aware of animal social cues and am plentiful in patience with all furry friends! I am a full time student, so my schedules do vary from each semester. As of right now, Mondays and Wednesdays, I am free after 3 pm. On Fridays, I am free after 12 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am free after 5 pm. These two specific days would be better for home drop-ins and late afternoon dog walks! With my dog at home, I always keep him in my sight not only for his sake but for my own comfort. I just love being around animals all the time. Whether I am doing school work or chores, I always keep them included.

About: I’ve been around and loved dogs quite literally all 27 years of my life. From a teacup Chihuahua to a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix, I have owned and loved dogs of all shapes and sizes. I truly believe they are man’s best friend and should be treated as such! My living situation does not allow for pets at this time, so I am happy to interact with pets as much as I can. I’m currently working full time in church ministry, which allows much flexibility during the week days. I am fairly open on all days of the week except for Tuesdays. I also am happy to dog sit in the client’s home on weekends and during the week as needed. For all services, whether walks or overnight stays, I would be happy to provide the client with as many updates as they would like throughout the service, as well as send picture updates! I am happy to do whatever makes the client feel most at ease and comfortable.
About: Having grown up with animals most my life…I pride myself in the ability to comfort and love your furry friend… Even from a distance. My special skills, are soft skills… Meaning that I work best with slow warm-ups for any anxious pets. But also, I’m ready for any high energy animals as well. I go to school, and work during the weekdays… But have a giant break in the middle of the day, for any pet care. Weekends work best for me. Making sure to adapt to whatever the pet owner, and pet need. Whether that means space, or extra attention… I can be that in-between person you request. I also pride myself on attention to detail… So will notice any change in behavior, or care necessary.
About: I am a trainer and a manger at a boarding and daycare place and have years of professional experience in caring for loved pets. I can work with older dogs, medicated dogs and other extra care situations. I have a fenced-in back yard plus a dog park across the street (which I will only take dogs if owners approve). I love runs and longs walks so if you dog is use to some exercise we can do that as well. My parents are dog lovers and instill in me a loving and empathetic understanding of treating animals. For the last several years I've work at the humane society plus other boarding businesses. I have references from every place I've work. I love taking care of dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments! Soon to be a trainer and can offer more services!

This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”
