About: I have truly enjoyed caring for dogs and cats most of my life (30+ years) beginning in childhood with my family dog, Maggie. I have served as Dad to multiple dogs and cats for many years, although I do not currently have a pet of my own. Today I enjoy volunteering at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society (trained to care for both dogs and cats) while I pursue a new career in service to animals. All breeds and sizes are welcome to me—I love them all. Thank you for trusting me to care for your baby. Currently, I am in between full-time jobs, so my schedule is quite flexible. I am available most days. I will highly prioritize caring for your pet and try my best to accommodate your schedule. My apartment is small yet clean, tidy and safe. It’s on the ground floor and opens up to a large and well-maintained yard on a quiet street. Many neighbors have dogs as it is a very dog-friendly community. Additionally, my neighborhood (Highland Park) has wonderful streets and parks for exercise. There are 3 large parks within a half-mile of my home.

She always worked out ways to keep them engaged even if the weather was bad and even got our grumpy elderly cat to come up and love on her and play with her so she is a total cat whisperer. About: I’ve been around and loved dogs quite literally all 27 years of my life. From a teacup Chihuahua to a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix, I have owned and loved dogs of all shapes and sizes. I truly believe they are man’s best friend and should be treated as such! My living situation does not allow for pets at this time, so I am happy to interact with pets as much as I can. I’m currently working full time in church ministry, which allows much flexibility during the week days. I am fairly open on all days of the week except for Tuesdays. I also am happy to dog sit in the client’s home on weekends and during the week as needed. For all services, whether walks or overnight stays, I would be happy to provide the client with as many updates as they would like throughout the service, as well as send picture updates! I am happy to do whatever makes the client feel most at ease and comfortable.
