Availability
I work from home with a decently flexible schedule that will give me plenty of time to play with your pups! My best days for mid-day visits are Tuesdays and Thursdays, or before/after work any other day. My weekends are also very open! Unfortunately my schedule can get hectic depending on projects, so I can’t guarantee that I’ll always be available. But I can guarantee I’ll do my best!

I treat all pets as if they are my own and I grant them the respect, love, and patience they each deserve. As the pet parent of a rescue, I’m well acquainted with behavioral issues, so I ensure that pets have the time and space needed to warm up to me, and I work to ensure they feel safe and comfortable at all times.

Please let me know if your dog has any behavioral issues, diet restrictions, allergies, or any other pertinent information that may impact your dog's health and behavior during visits.
A typical day
I want to make sure your dog has been both mentally and physically stimulated! My go-to's are long walks to check out all the smells in the neighborhood, visiting nearby parks, and playing fetch or tug-of-war.

Dog-obsessed young millennial
Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover since I was a young child, and I've been very blessed to grow up in a home filled with pets! Between both parents, there's always been at least one dog in the house, but at times there were up to 5 (not to mention the cats, horses, goats, fish, and at one point a peacock!). I've taken care of dogs of all sizes for as long as I remember, and I've often been called on by family and friends to help feed, walk, sit, and bathe their pets. I worked as a dog-walker for several families while living in Memphis, TN, and I often dog/cat-sit for friends here in Birmingham. I adopted a dog of my own, Atticus, in 2014 and he is the love and light of my life! I am experienced in puppy training (obedience, crate, and potty training), and now that Atticus is an old man with arthritis, I’m also skilled at working with senior pets. I treat Atticus as my own child, thereby making him a full-time responsibility that is due patience, respect, and love, and I extend that level of care and treatment to all animals that I encounter.
