About: From fostering dogs with heartworm and post-surgery needs to building trust with the most timid rescues, I’ve cared for dogs in all kinds of situations. My experience goes beyond the basics—I understand how to read body language, support anxious pups, and manage specialized routines with patience and care. I hold a PhD in Nutrition, and while my focus has been on human health, I bring that same passion and knowledge to giving animals the healthy, happy lives they deserve. I’m attentive, experienced, and deeply committed to the well-being of every dog in my care. I can’t replace you in your dog’s life, but I can give you both the peace of mind you deserve while you're apart--whether it be for days at a time or just a short walk. I work mostly remotely, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. My own dog gets three walks a day—totaling about 90 minutes—and we rarely miss one. I’m happy to include your dog in those walks or adjust the schedule based on their energy level and routine. Because I’m home most of the time, I can offer a calm, consistent environment and plenty of attention. I’m flexible and always aim to cater to each dog’s individual needs—whether that means playtime, quiet companionship, or extra potty breaks. In my home, pets are treated like family—often even better than the humans! 😄 I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment, so there’s plenty of room for dogs to feel comfortable and move around freely. Dogs are always welcome on the bed and couches, and I keep fresh water available in every room to make sure they stay hydrated and happy. Whether it’s in my home or yours, I aim to create a calm, cozy environment where each dog feels safe, loved, and completely at ease. I follow any routines or preferences you provide and always pay close attention to each dog’s comfort and well-being.

“My cat has a blast with Christina! She has checked in on Callie many times and I’ll continue to use her. Highly trusted and is great with communication and pics.”

About: - My apartment receives monthly flea treatment, but all pets should still be on flea prevention medication before to come to my house - All pets should be fully vaccinated - Usually, I send pictures/videos ones, around 8-8:30 pm and a little update if you request it. I understand that leave you pet with a strangers can be very anxious , but I assure you , your pet has place to sleep, a lot of attention, a lot of play time, walks and love. ☺️ - I am not accept dogs with any type of aggression: dog, cat or kids. - I’m not accept dogs without meet and greet . I have been taking care of animals since early childhood. I always brought home homeless animals. My parents and I treated and helped abandoned babies recover. Love for animals is in my blood. my family had cats, dogs, birds, squirrels. I know how to give pills, how important it is to play and walk the dogs a lot, how important it is to change the litter box often. I am very empathic and always feel sorry for our smaller brothers. I’m stay home mom. I have plenty of time to care about pets while my son at school . After school usually we walk all day and take dogs with us. walking the dog will be a minimum of 30 minutes.i had husky before and we walk together at least an hour. Dogs with high energy is not a problem for me😄. If your dog likes to play with balls, I will be glad to play with him/her. if your pet takes pills - no problem! I'll take care of that too! I provide brush hair (fur) , night walks, gentle care.

About: I've grown up around dogs my whole life, but didn't adopt one of my own until 4 years ago. I trained her myself using tips from trainers on YouTube, and she's done quite well. I have dog-sat for friends over the years and bonded with each of them. Growing up around dogs all my life, I've seen a litter born and raised, I've said goodbye to good friends, and I've got experience with administering medicine and applying bandages. I am looking forward to looking after your best friend and fur baby and providing you with a paw-sitive experience! I currently work part-time, so I can be available given a couple of days notice so that I can make proper arrangements for my dog Sadie if necessary. I am capable of walking a medium to small dog on a leash, provided they are at least a little leash trained. I completely understand the need to keep things as "normal" for your pets as possible, and would like to know what treats, food, and commands you are used to using. If you'd like me to stay in the home with your pet, I would also like to know what other routines to follow so I can give your fur baby the best I can.

“Devan has been seeing my two pups for a couple of months now and has been extremely communicative and reliable. I know my pups are in great hands with her!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10. I was known to be the neighborhood dog walker and I loved every second of it! I work full time as a nurse so I am looking to walk 4-legged friends on my off days and enjoy some hairy cuddles. In the fall i’m moving to an every weekend schedule so i’ll be available during the week. I will treat your house as if it was my own. With love, respect, and care. I have a dog of my own that is my “fur child” so I think it is very important to trust the person who you are not only inviting into your home, but also trusting to care and protect your furry child.

About: I’ve had several pets in my household ever since I was young. I’ve always taken care of them, and have been relied on to pet sit for neighbors, family, and friends. I’ve also trained each of my pups in the house, such as the commands sit, lay down, stay, come, paw, roll over, and many more. One of my favorite experiences was taking care of a house full of pets for about a week that consisted of 9 cats, 5 dogs, and even a rabbit! I’ve just moved to Birmingham, and am working a full time job. I’m able to care for your pets in the evenings on weekdays and anytime on the weekends! I can guarantee a safe environment for your furry friends. I’ve had plenty of experience with dog walking, even the most aggressive of dogs. I’m able to secure your pet in a crate if needed, and any other safety measures you may need!

Cody H.
“It’s not every day that you come across someone as naturally gifted with animals as my son. I’m writing this letter not just as a proud parent, but as someone who has watched him transform a love for dogs into a calling. From a young age, he’s had a quiet, grounded way of connecting with animals that goes far beyond basic care. He doesn’t just walk dogs—he studies them. He watches their body language, notices their routines, and takes time to learn their quirks and comforts. I’ve seen him wake up early to work with shy foster dogs, spending hours with them to rebuild trust and confidence, never rushing the process. Patience is second nature to him. He has taken in fosters others might consider “too much”—those who need extra training, medication, or simply more love than most are willing to give. These dogs don’t just do well under his care—they flourish. He creates a calm, structured environment where animals feel secure and respected. What sets him apart is how seriously he takes this work. He keeps detailed notes on feeding, routines, training goals, and behaviors. He’s the kind of person who will triple-check that a gate is locked, who never forgets a medication dose, and who will send updates and photos without being asked—because he genuinely knows how hard it is to leave a beloved pet behind. If you're looking for someone who treats animals with the same care you'd give a family member—and who brings reliability, skill, and deep understanding to the job—then there’s truly no better person for the job. Sincerely, Angie Rourke (Cody's Mom)”

Amberly B.
“I’ve known Amberly since I was six years old, and she’s always been one of the most caring and dependable people in my life. Last summer, she watched my family’s three dogs for a week, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Two of my dogs are older and needed a bit of extra help, she changed their reusable diapers and even made sure to wash them at night so they’d be clean and ready for the next day. She also took care of our cats, cleaned the litter boxes, and fed them right on schedule. She didn’t just come over and do her duties and leave, she stayed with them and kept them company. I completely trust Amberly with my pets and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who’s not just responsible, but truly kind and thoughtful too.”
