I’ve raised tiny dachshunds and giant Great Danes. Until my dog passed away in 2023, he was my baby and I catered to his every want/need. I have experience with special diets, feeding tubes, administering oral medications, IM injections, Sub-q boluses, insulin and post-op care in case your baby has any special needs. I am happy to take your dog to any vet appointments when needed, hiking, even a brewery if they enjoy being around lots of people and other dogs. I'm also happy to take care of kitties and have taken care of all types of pets from turtles to goats to chickens. I adore all animals and I would love to meet yours! If I’m unavailable or not a good fit for any reason, I’m happy to refer you to another great sitter!

Your pets safety is my number one priority. Let’s discuss any concerns you may have, health issues, how they interact with other animals and people and anything else you feel is important. I volunteer and transport for several animal rescues in Alabama so I understand the importance of respecting an animals boundaries and making them feel safe.

Laura did an exceptional job of handling a very tragic situation. Our beloved dog, Lulu had an emergency situation and had to be rushed to the vet. Lulu was unresponsive and Laura was unable lift her. She quickly ran to the nearest neighbor and got help to put Lulu into her car to transport her to the vet. Her communication with us before during, and after this traumatic event was exceptional. We highly recommend her services to anyone needing a pet sitter.

Schedule
I’m a pediatric dietitian and lactation consultant turned full-time pet sitter. My schedule is very flexible so I have lots of free time to play with your fur babies! Boarding does get booked up quickly but I can typically accommodate drop-in visits last minute.
